21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SGOLD - First Space Industry's Token Offering Started, Don't Miss It! on: June 20, 2020, 04:18:22 PM
I have never seen something before and I still wonder how you will be able to do this alone without support of any big company or enterprise.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BOOM - First Self-Burning Cryptocurrency Based on Smart Contract on: June 19, 2020, 04:31:39 PM
I don't see the reason why I need this token because it is not valuable enough to serve as money, I know some people would say what about Bitcoin but Bitcoin is not pre-mined and you need huge energy to create it unlike this, the only sellin gpoint is burning part, there is no token in the space that has not been burnt mistakenly, some people have lost BTC. Just tell me what give this tokens value

It seems that deflationary tokens like BOOM will find a huge challenge from the crypto community. If dev of BOOM is reading this then he should do something to soften the image of BOOM in the heart of the crypto community.

You got some point though but you cant really blame out people on why they can do make some presumptions into this kind of tokens which is deflationary.

Can you elaborate or do give out on why you do see these things have great future?  It doesnt really give out something which would the masses support.

Time will tell if this one would able to emerge or would automatically submerge.

I do agree that everyone has his own right to say and invest in any crypto of his choice. Deflationary coins are interesting in my opinion, as they are rolling out a new concept. BOOM is a legitimate project since it's on too many exchanges.

I just there site https://www.boomtoken.io/ , really the coin is on few top exchanges. No doubt about the legitimacy of the project.

We just have to wait and see how it goes in the long run, till then start accumulating few of them.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MASS is profitable and Cheap to mine ... Here is why? on: June 15, 2020, 05:47:26 PM

I don't understand what they're doing, why are they giving such a bullshit bounty? This bounty budget is only a few dozen $ and premium accounts only get 0.5-1 $ per week. It's funny to see that

The bounty program of MASS is launched by a mining pool WePool. There is no official bounty program from MASS so far. Bounty hunters have to wait for the official bounty program from MASS. Until then those interested may buy here.
https://www.mxc.com/trade/easy#MASS_USDT  https://www.hotbit.io/exchange?symbol=MASS_USDT

It's also available on https://www.hotbit.io/exchange?symbol=MASS_BTC

Those who have mined this coin in early days are now selling it at good price. Not many coins take such value when they are initially listed on exchange.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC halving party is over, MASS PoC takes you back to ten years ago on: May 28, 2020, 05:49:01 PM
Proof of capacity or PoC consensus algorithm is used in MASS blockchain. Is there any real-world use case of this blockchain apart from mining?

There are helpful resources available on there site on how to mine it on wndows and MAC. Any plan to launch such video for Linux platform also? I am a linux guy and will mine it on my Ubuntu. A video on that will benefit many like me.

With Bitcoin mining becoming highly centralized to miners who have expensive hardware, we certainly need new projects where people who don't have these expensive miners can still mine the coins. The thing I liked about coins like bitcoinR is that they allow you to quickly get started with mining and that too with your ordinary electronic gadgets. There is technically zero risks involved in mining such coins.

But they don't have any value right now as I checked their site and its not on any exchange. Why would I mine a coin that is yet to have any value?
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MASS] Decentralized HARD DRIVE mining cryptocurrency | PoC | Low Energy cost on: May 19, 2020, 11:13:55 PM
https://www.hotbit.io/exchange?symbol=MASS_BTC. the current price is 0.00006663, or $0.$0.6530 a coin.

I would like to sell 10 coins for 0.0006 BTC approx $5.87
Will save someone a little bit of exchange commision....
Please PM me if serious.

Thanks
J

The coin is just enlisted at two popular exchange MXC and HOTBIT and has taken value of 0.66 $ that's a huge price for new coin.

Why would someone mix his bitcoins? There is no way anyone can associate a personal ID with a bitcoin address. I think we don't need such services its just a wastage of money.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Some questions on BTC on: May 18, 2020, 01:26:21 AM
I have an electrum standalone wallet for storing my BTC. I have three questions

1. I read that never store all your coins in one wallet. So wts the solution? should I install two electrum standalone wallets and store my coins in both of them?

2. I have written seed on a paper to recover my BTC in case my computer got corrupt. What thing apart from seed should I backup to recover my wallet in case my system is corrupted.

3. Strong password is good enough to secure a wallet or I have to do something else also.

Thanks.
