2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When emergency hits. Will you sell your bitcoin or borrow and keep holding? on: Today at 06:51:40 AM
But for me as a beginner I think it is safe to sell a small part of bitcoin if I really need money for family or big problems where family is more important than the tax or interest to me. I will try to save normal money in the bank first for the emergency needs then keep my bitcoin for long time.

Yes, I did this. I prefer to sell a small portion of my Bitcoin for urgent needs. The reason is simple, I don't want to go into debt for non-productive needs. Besides, it is my principle to avoid borrowing for unnecessary needs. Although I do understand that Bitcoin will likely have a higher value in the future, I don't want to take the risk of going into debt to preserve the amount of my assets. So I'm not too fanatical; if it is truly urgent, I will sell it immediately.

Arsenal are becoming useless again, imagine winning your game with two double own goals in a match you should have won more than three goals with clean sheet.

Did Arsenal underestimate Wolves? I understand what you mean, but Arsenal dominated, although the goal didn't come from a clear scheme. I don't understand whether Arsenal played poorly or Wolves simply improved. Luckily, the last goal allowed Arsenal to get the full points and remain solid at the top. But I am quite amazed by Wolves; they were able to make it difficult for Arsenal to score.

Mohammed Salah return to the squad is good news for supporters. However, whether he will be an immediate starter remains a question for supporters, given Salah heated feud with Arne Slot. I think Salah's return to the squad doesn't automatically mean he'll be a starter, and I'm sure Arne Slot will field the same lineup as against Inter Milan. Supporters will also hope the positive streak of results from the last four matches can continue against Brighton, especially with Liverpool playing at home.

I think reducing dependence on Mo Salah is a good idea. If the slot is intended for that, then Slot really has to be brave enough to take the risk. The performance might be a bit poor, it needs adaptation, and that should actually be done because Salah is getting older. He is already 33 years old, so there is a possibility that Liverpool will start thinking about selling Salah before his contract ends. Brighton is not an easy opponent, they have good gameplay. Liverpool must be careful.

IMO CMIIW

I cant believe how bad is doing Wolves in this season, i mean they can be in relegation zone but damn only 2 points is more than a tragedy, and worst of all seems like they cant found the deep in thei fall, the other day against Manchester United they were pretty bad it wasnt a team, so sorry for them but Arsenal is gonna destroy them, no chance at all of taking at least a point, lets hope not to see a lot of goals against them.

They are very bad, 15 matches and only have 2 points. They will become the worst team if they cannot improve their performance. Currently, Wolves under Rob Edwards come with a heavy burden on his shoulders. He inherited a squad that has lost confidence after a series of poor results. Rob himself has led Wolves twice, but they still haven't won, though in terms of gameplay I actually think they have improved quite a bit. This means there is some improvement. Perhaps Wolves' target should be realistic, maybe to earn more points and avoid relegation. But it seems tough, though at least with the remaining matches, their chance of survival is still fairly open.

Rumors are circulating about Milan; next January, Milan is ready to bring in a West Ham player. Niclas Fullkrug is a West Ham striker aged 32. He doesn’t get much playing time with West Ham, so he is not happy there. Milan wants to take advantage of this situation to bring him to Milan. If they don’t buy him, he might become a Milan loan. Not only Milan, reportedly several Bundesliga clubs are also interested in acquiring him. Besides Fullkrug, Milan also wants a center-forward, and their view is on Manchester United player Joshua Zirkzee.

9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Lega Serie A 🇮🇹 (Italian League) Prediction Thread 2025/2026 ⚽ on: December 12, 2025, 03:20:30 PM
Milan have a more challenging opponent than Torino this time. But the match is at San Siro. I think they'll win but with a classic Allegri game. Probably a win by 1-goal gap.

Yes, Sassuolo is a promoted team that has performed well this season. They have a fairly stable winning margin. Recently, Sassuolo even won by 3 goals against Fiorentina. Comparing the players, of course, is not equivalent, so favoring Milan to win is a realistic choice. But I also see that Sassuolo has at least a chance to take home 1 point. Milan probably has a lot of confidence. In fact, they have coach Allegri, who was named best coach in November. Allegri even managed to bring Milan to the top of the standings, although Milan's points are equal to Napoli in second place. So, it seems Milan will have to work hard for 3 points.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26 on: December 12, 2025, 03:01:17 PM
I don't know if is right to blame: the coach, is clear that in these situations the one who loses the most is always the coach, clearly this thing happens in all clubs and i am not at all surprised that he will be the sacrificial pawn of the whole Real Madrid even if is not only his fault. Wink

For those who do not understand football, many might agree if Xabi were fired. But I do not. Remember, after the loss to Celta Vigo and then Man City in the UCL, the players supported Xabi. They mentioned it in interviews, that the players are with Xabi. Firing Xabi right now would only add to the problems. It's not even a year yet, and he is still in a good process. So there’s no need to fire him; let's give him another 2 years.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do Government Need Bitcoin? on: December 12, 2025, 02:34:52 PM
Someone said something on Altcointalk and it got me thinking why do government need Bitcoin?
Yes I'm genuinely curious. I'm not talking about generic answers like making a strategic reserve or the likes
Something that would make them neglect the fact that Bitcoin is decentralized and doesn't need a Central Authority.

Logically, no, the government does not need Bitcoin. The decentralized Bitcoin system is very much at odds with the financial system used by the government. So the current phenomenon is that Bitcoin grows naturally through public trust. As of now, the government has not really taken notice, so it is still a minority. But since 2021, when big industries started to get involved, many countries began thinking about creating regulations. The reason is user security. In fact, one definite goal is to gain profit from the circulation of the financial industry. They regulate, collect taxes, but the government does not actually need it at this time.

Bitcoin Is Becoming Too Important for Governments to Ignore… and Too Useful for Them to Admit They Need It.

An industry that generates profit. I think that’s their motivation. Because they cannot regulate from within, they regulate from the outside based on territory or country. Since there is no national law yet and the state has the right to regulate it. Given the very large circulation of money, of course if it is monitored and regulated, it will become a source of state revenue. For reasons of security and consumer protection, the state can step in and also take a share of the profit. For example, in my country, they cooperate with exchanges to directly deduct taxes. Indeed, they are not thinking about decentralization.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you use crypto? on: December 11, 2025, 01:18:48 PM
Furthermore buying and holding Bitcoin allows you to achieve financial freedom. Traditional banks can't simply be eliminated because they are part of the government, but if I had to choose between the two, I'd prefer Bitcoin transactions because they're fast and simple, and we can do them anytime, anywhere.

So far, I've used it as a means of supplementing my income. Ultimately, I still have to deal with banks. While this does mean less interaction with banks, it has made me feel more comfortable due to the nature of Bitcoin. Although Bitcoin has been legalized as a commodity in my country, it cannot be used as a legal means of transaction. Furthermore, Bitcoin is currently a minority player in various global transactions. Its future is also clearer, with large institutions entering the industry and expanding, and many new investors are starting to arrive.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2025/2026 on: December 11, 2025, 07:09:08 AM
Few peoples are expecting too much from Manchester United after having win in this game against bottom side Wolves, but they needed to understand ground realities in Premier League winning 2 to 3 games have never been guaranteed of having better future because it's always have surprises.

I remember he joined in 2024, which means this is his second season. I can't yet say he has succeeded, but he has taken bold steps. He let go of several key players from the previous period. I would say he is on the right path, which means Man United is moving in the right direction. They have clear progress. He just needs to continue building a champion mentality and working hard with the players. That’s the initial issue I noticed when Man United played poorly and ended up in a dismal position at the end of last season. Although there will still be many matches and, of course, results are hard to predict, I think Man United is currently better than last season.

After defeat against Manchester City at home, social media become too hot on Xabi Alonso's future, few are claiming it's 100% sure that he is going to be sacked but few media reports clearly showing that it's going to be not easy for Real Madrid management to take such decision suddenly. Because they know that he is still capable of bringing improvement due to his track records.

This is how a Xabi must think hard to immediately get Madrid back on the right track. I think the media will be buzzing again with this result. But I still believe in Xabi's progress; I think he is still good. He just needs to learn how to manage many talented players in one team. Maybe he should send a message to Zidane or Ancelotti to share experiences because, tactically, Xabi's play is quite good, but managing a team with many star players is a new thing. But I believe that time also plays a role in how Xabi adapts and finds the best approach. I think Madrid's management still very much deserves to keep him and give him at least 2 seasons.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Winning first and not stopping, luck or skill? on: December 11, 2025, 05:05:58 AM
When I first bet, I won $50 and was very happy, but later, when I kept betting in the hope of winning more, I lost. Then, a friend of mine bet double than me and won.

I once read about how betting sites work. They make you feel confident when you win $50 for the first time. There are articles that say this win triggers your brain to release dopamine, a chemical that makes you feel happy and want to repeat that sensation. Remember, each winning spin is the result of a predetermined spin. This condition will not affect the outcome of the next spin. When your friend wins, it is an illusion of bias that influences you. Because online casino creators have considered all of this, they have conducted research, so in reality, the winnings you make are just luck for you. Therefore, you should think rationally and logically to avoid getting more trapped in biases that make you suffer more. IMO
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season on: December 11, 2025, 04:50:34 AM
The match was very exciting. Although I was surrounded by Madrid fans, they ultimately remained silent about the result. I made a substantial profit on my bet, as I was against three people who had picked Madrid.

They are silent because they consider this a dream; last season Madrid dominated with victories when playing against Man City. Xabi has worked to the maximum, he tried to get points today. But indeed, the performance of Madrid players, especially the defenders, in my view, was not optimal, especially Rudiger, I saw him perform poorly. Man City's penalty was purely his fault. Maybe he forgot about VAR. Besides that, I saw Endrick's performance as quite interesting. Although he couldn't help save Madrid, Endrick played very well. He was able to create space, provide passes, and even make shots on goal. This defeat seems likely to generate even more speculation about Xabi.

And I don't know if people are aware of this or not in the Champions League right now. That is, Atalanta has only suffered one defeat in the UCL so far, with four wins and one draw. Isn't that an achievement we never could have imagined Atalanta achieving?  Wink

It was truly unexpected. This was because I saw their league results weren't very good, so I picked Chelsea to win. But my guess was wrong. But the Champions League always provides a different kind of motivation for every player. This result certainly makes it easier for Atalanta to advance to the next knockout stage. And of course, this will set a new record for Atalanta, even though Atalanta is currently struggling in the league, sitting in 12th place.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season on: December 10, 2025, 02:45:23 PM
Today's match between Real Madrid and City will be a high-quality one. City are favored by betting sites, but I think Real Madrid will win. I expect six or more goals. Both teams have very good attacking lines but equally poor defensive lines.

This will be Real Madrid and Manchester City's 15th matches in the Champions League. They have been winless in their three UCL matches against Manchester City. Madrid won both of their matches in the Champions League last season. I'm not sure Madrid can repeat that. Madrid's current form isn't great, and their league matches don't reflect that. But this is certainly different; the Champions League is always unpredictable. There will be a different intensity in each match. If Madrid wins, it will certainly be a record for a student beating their teacher.
