21  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do we use shampoo? on: August 06, 2020, 05:04:48 AM
Shampoo are  purposely used to cleanse the hair and the scalp. It helps to remove foreign particles like dust and excess sebum in the scalp so that the hair will grow faster and in good condition. Also, to get rid of itchiness or dandruff. There are variety of shampoo with different active ingredients and contents. The type of shampoo to be use depends on the type of hair you have and sometimes depends on the specific purpose you have. If you are targeting to get rid of dandruff better to use shampoo with selenium while to get rid of lice must use shampoo containing permethrin. The amount also should be just enough because using alot of shampoo can remove the excessive sebum or the natural oil of your hair which can make your hair frizz, dull and dry and worst case can cause hair loss.

You might want to see The Umbrella Academy, Prison Break, Locke and Key, Lost in Space and The Rain. For some comedy, I would recommend FRIENDS, The Big Bang and Brooklyn Nine which is really great.

I'm currently using dove unscented since according to its ads it has a whitening effect and smooth to apply but as per my experiences it was useful for a mild workout day. If I'm working under the heat of the sun and I perspire alot, I use Old Spice because it is strong and it really helps me to control the sweat and controls my body odor.

Online shopping is convenient and yet a very useful service nowadays. It is hassle-free and saves a lot of time and energy. I recommend this online shopping when you are running out of time in doing an actual shopping. There is disadvantages like the fear of receiving a defect item or a wrong in size item but it is advised to check the seller if legit and check out the review section just to be sure.

Like others, Im experiencing alot of struggle during this time especially in terms of my education. Physical learning or face to face teaching is prohibited thats why online classes are now recommended but it was a struggle for me because of the unstable internet connection and the frequent rotational blackout here in our area. Also, my gadgets are not as good as the new models nowadays.

In terms of riding off boredom, I would prefer youtube since you can watch random videos for free or if you want watching series or movies, I would prefer Netflix. There are alot of social media you can choose like facebook or messenger where you can easily reach out to your friends. Instagram would be nice too if you are mesmerize with good shot photos. Twitter are preferred for millennials for trending issues.
33  Other / Off-topic / Re: Share Good Movies Please? on: June 29, 2020, 07:02:41 AM
This one that I would recommend is a thriller/ mystery kind of movies. I found it so interesting and has a great plot twist that you should definitely must watch.

First is Game Night which was released last 2018. It has a good plot twist which is so uncommon and unpredictable, at the same time it was added with a comedy which makes it more interesting and a must watch movie. Don’t skip the credits part because it was a so good.

Next, Knives Out which was released on 2019. It has also a great plot twist that would enable you to really think who is responsible for the murder. It has also an unpredictable flow of the story.

Lastly, The Invisible Guest though it was released on 2016, I would really recommend this. It was my favorite of all because it has an amazing plot twist that would give explanation to the title. You have to pay attention to every scene because you’ll never know who is telling the truth.

It is true that the virus is there, real and infecting thousands of people including the medical frontliners. For me, this virus can end this year if scientist can discover an ideal vaccine that is with quality, effective and at the same time safe for everyone. I know that it really takes time to formulate such kind of treatment or prophylaxis, but with an adequate knowledge, skills, equipment and manpower, it is not impossible that we won against this virus by this year.

36  Other / Off-topic / Re: relationship with sleep on: June 10, 2020, 10:00:22 AM
I have no problem with sleep, it is just my sleeping pattern is not normal. During this quarantine, my body clock has been ruined. Yes, I have enough hours of sleep but the problem is I'm a nocturnal and I sleep during the day. This is a bad habit thats why I'm thinking to change and adjust it by slowly repairing my body clock. I will sleep early at night and avoid taking afternoon nap. I will also avoid taking caffeine or eating chocolate late in a day so that I can easily fall asleep in the evening.
37  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can I quit smoking? on: June 10, 2020, 06:28:08 AM
You should not force yourself to quit smoking. It will just exacerbate your desire of nicotine. It is better to discipline yourself to taper down your cigarette consumption. You have to strictly follow your plan before and after your final quit day. It is also recommended to make your self busy like having a good physical exercise or doing your favorite hobby. Family support would also be helpful. It is better to be with non smoker friends or collegues. Stay away from triggers that can remind you about your smoking habits or better to just stay in places where smoking is prohibited.
38  Other / Off-topic / Re: Treatments for insomnia? :( on: June 08, 2020, 11:17:16 PM
Make your bedroom comfortable for sleeping (dark, quite and not too warm or not too cold).
Do not continue to try to sleep, rather, perform a relaxing activity like reading a book or listening to music until you got tired. It is also important to avoid caffeine, alcohol or nicotine/smoking late in the day since they are stimulants that can make you stay awake. Try not to take day naps, it will make you less sleepy at night.

But if you experience frequent insomnia, it is better to see your doctor for proper diagnosis and management.
