661  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful with your transactions. on: September 23, 2023, 11:33:35 PM
In any transaction of cryptocurrency you most be extremely careful and crosscheck your wallet especially the recipient address before sending your coins, some people doesn't care to crosscheck the if the wallet the are sending bitcoin address or any other coin like altcoins address if it correspond to the one that sort the transaction, sometime the problems we have during transaction is caused by us, that is while it's encouraging to make sure that you scrutinised and understand the basics things concerning bitcoin transaction before venturing into it, some persons especially the newbie make this mists of not cross checking the address of bitcoin before clicking continue or proceed in bitcoin transaction as well, what I wanted all the newbies to do is to take absolutely precautions of this particular point op brought to us for discussion, because this have a very big or positive impact in our bitcoin journey and mostly in the aspect of transaction not only in bitcoin  but in cryptocurrency generally.
662  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Journey of a newbie. on: September 23, 2023, 11:09:43 PM
I have always been confused about crypto currencies and how they work... how they are stabilised and regulated but with the present plight and constant devaluation of my country's currency, it's safe to say I need to learn, practice and own a safer landing, the banking systems are not helping with constant maintenance levies and network issues. I'm aware that there is no perfect place but anywhere with a more better solution is more preferable. Cheers to the beginning of a new journey.
You don't have to be confused any longer since you have found yourself in bitcointalk community, as newbie who started the journey of cryptocurrency and especially bitcoin newly in the forum, it will be easier for you to comprehend about bitcoin easily with your serious and you also knows your target as well, what I really want you to understand concerning the journey of bitcoin is that, the journey of bitcoin have to do with your inquisitiveness by advocating time to make necessary investigations of bitcoin properly, their is something I want us to understand concerning bitcoin as well, bitcoin is a digital and decentralized currency which can be seen but can not be touched base on it's technology, so if you are venturing into bitcoin investment you have to be aware of the negative impact of bitcoin as a coin and positive impact of it as well,  because some people doesn't been informed properly before venturing into bitcoin investment and sometimes when the price of bitcoin devalued and those newbie invest becomes inquisitive and curious to sell out what they have invested on, and secondly what I want us to understand is that we are not supposed to panic when we invest in bitcoin, that is while it's advisable to invest in any cryptocurrency and mostly bitcoin with your spare finance.
663  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Quality over Quantity on: September 23, 2023, 10:33:32 PM
I have created a thread before concerning a quality post. what we think is a quality post   so some of what we think is a quality post is not a quality post a quality post is all about how large is your post, but campaign managers sometimes doesn't like to accept or hire some users whom their profile contain small writing without reading how meaningful their post is, I even prefer the people who make four stanza of posts with understandable use of English and meaningful, its not how large and characters your post contain before your post cam be qualify as a quality. I don't want to mention a name, but their is a user in the forum whose post lines doesn't go above three to four lines, but when reading his or her post, you will understand the point is making and you will also know that he hit the nail at head whenever you come across of his post, what we need is a post that's answerable to our question, not a post that contains more than two hundred words without a cogent point after reading. So let us not judge the characters of words use In a particular post as quality post. When reading across this thread I have come across of a full member rank who also emphasis similarly to my point and I figured out some meanings towards his point. And even some people don't like to read a long post because it's tiring, so it's better or nice to make a short that's meaningful.
664  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should newbies invest with small capital in BTC on: September 23, 2023, 10:03:03 PM
The thing is that some people doesn't consult properly before investing in bitcoin, at least as a someone who want to invest in bitcoin and you are not acclimatised with the environmental conditions of bitcoin but you want to venture into such investment, what I will advice a newbie to do during the process of investing in bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies is that, you should make a proper research or investigation before you invest in any of cryptocurrency, in the aspect of alternative coins, ensure you have make findings on the particular coin you want to invest and know the capability or the potential of the project before investing in it. But in the aspect of bitcoin what I would want any newbie to do towards bitcoin investment is that, invest what you can afford to lose and also make sure that you invest with your spare money so that you won't be curious over monitoring your investment because of bearish market
665  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help a newbie! on: September 23, 2023, 09:53:35 PM
Their is something important to learn and understand in the forum as a Newbie, basically some people who come to bitcointalk majority doesn't know about Bitcoin and with observation and precautions they have obtained the knowledge of bitcoin, one thing in this forum is that you most be curious and also be observant so that you can speed up in learning and understanding the rudiments of bitcoin in this forum, the technology of bitcoin is something you can learn through a research.

But what I will advice you to do as a Newbie is that you should try to be reading almost a the post that is pinned by moderators across other boards especially in bitcoin discussion board and technical board, so I believe in bitcoin discussion is where you learn most of things concerning bitcoin and it's wallets and technical board will elaborate more on wallets in which is it's good and advisable to ensure you have comprehend the knowledge of bitcoin very well.
666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Just HODL But HODL Wisely and Securely on: September 19, 2023, 09:34:24 PM
You said their is different ways of making holding your bitcoin, but from my own perspective is been done in way than holding a coin, so I believe that bitcoin have it's way, someone that don't want hold bitcoin will not hold bitcoin it doesn't have any target, while most of people who buy bitcoin purchased bitcoin is because they want appreciate or increase of bitcoin to make profit, and secondly, some of the people who invest in bitcoin for long-term have a target and some of people who quickly sell out of their bitcoin doesn't have target of investment in cryptocurrency especially bitcoin and some who use their main money to invest always been conscious of their investment, so therefore it's advisable to use your spare money for bitcoin investment.
667  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Notable apps that can accept BTC for premium subscription packages. on: September 19, 2023, 09:18:33 PM
There are not many places where you can spend BTC as a mode of payment due to government regulation but if you can see a gift card payment option on any app then you can simply use BTC to buy the gift card on a platform like Bitrefil and then use the gift card as payment to buy a premium subscription.

Take a look at Where to spend Bitcoin? by Ratimov to know where you can use crypto for getting services and many other stuff.
Theirs many applications that allow bitcoin running to their app and also many Internet stuff do allow bitcoin buying and bitcoin selling, so therefore many people can on their own make a payment or receive a payment through bitcoin from my perspective, bitcoin is something I know very well numerous applications right now can accept bitcoin for payment, in the aspect of a gift card I know very well that gift card buy it you can use a bitcoin
668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not banned, yet not accepted on: September 19, 2023, 09:09:53 PM
...

So do you also agree that bitcoin  can be said not be banned despite ban on local banks not getting involved with it?

Please let's discuss as I would really want to hear the opinions of others about  this.

Each country has different rules, my country is one that strictly monitors Bitcoin and does not allow transactions with Bitcoin but allows Bitcoin trading because our country's government classifies Bitcoin as a commodity. Regarding the government's power over its citizens, I don't think it is strong anymore, my country is a democracy, maybe the government has some hard rules that must not be broken, but will the citizens obey them when they feel that what they are doing is right!
As long as you don't harm other people and don't commit criminal transactions via Bitcoin then you don't do anything wrong, remember that Bitcoin is never wrong, the behavior of negative people who use it is wrong (such as corruptors or illegal traders).
It's obvious that not every countries that restricted bitcoin transaction, but I know quite that none of the countries that have accepted bitcoin as a legal tender, they can allow bitcoin trading and other bitcoin transactions based on personal things of bitcoin, so right now, what i know concerning bitcoin Is that bitcoin have not be implemented in any government law makers, they only allow bitcoin transaction base on p2p but it has not really been generally been pronounced as a legal tender as per say.
669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not banned, yet not accepted on: September 19, 2023, 08:03:07 PM
Many countries have restricted bitcoin transaction with their central banks, so since Bitcoin transaction can't go directly from the central bank of that particular country so the people that is not been informed of p2p will think that bitcoin has been ban, so from my perspective and understanding how bitcoin works in my country before now, it really means that bitcoin is been restricted, ban means their is no existence of bitcoin in that particular country while if bitcoin can be restricted that means it's not been ban
670  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much ,as you think ,is 1 bitcoin in 2025? on: September 19, 2023, 07:49:04 PM
How much ,as you think  ,is  1 bitcoin in 2025?
This particular predictions can not take us to anywhere, because it's this kind of predictions of bitcoin that makes some people to hope that with this the price of bitcoin will get one particular point, so right now, the price of bitcoin is unpredictable and its obvious that the price is been determined by the gravitational force that is behind the mining and demands and supply of bitcoin, this three things I mentioned is the force behind the market of bitcoin been positive or negative, when the demands is of higher potential than the supply it triggers the increased in bitcoin
671  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2023 Elliott Wave on: September 19, 2023, 07:42:39 PM
Even to an extent bitcoin price can be determined with all this kind apparatus or system they are using to predict the values of bitcoin, I know quite well that if you want to follow the systematic way of bitcoin you have to follow it with precautions, so therefore bitcoin price always fluctuates and since the value of bitcoin fluctuates I don't think I can belive in any predictions or any scenarios given by anyone via bitcoin price.
672  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will ETFs pump BTC to $100k soon? on: September 19, 2023, 07:35:32 PM
How we sure that ETF will trigger the acceleration of value and if it should trigger the acceleration of value or price, It will be in small fraction not as many people expected that the price of bitcoin will skyrocket beyond the normal circulation or rotation and stagnant price of bitcoin. All what we saying here is assumption, speculation or prediction because nobody is hundred of fifty percent sure of the ETF making bitcoin to have price acceleration that is difference from the normal slow of bitcoin increment in value
673  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you suggest I handle incorrect price predictions? on: September 19, 2023, 07:26:09 PM
I find it frustrating when my price prediction for the market fails. I know that it is difficult to predict the market movement due to its uncertainty and also that it is not possible to consistently predict the future accurately but it still hurts when I tell it to my friends and it doesn't turn out so. In January, I had predicted that by the third quarter of the year, bitcoin will hit $35k - $40k. I hide my head in shame because right now it is struggling at $25. Maybe I should stop quarterly prediction and stick with monthly predictions. Also how do you suggest I handle incorrect price predictions? Anybody been here. How do you handle it?
It's not nice for someone to depends on the predictions of bitcoin through other people, what I want us to understand in bitcoin predictions is that whosoever that predicts the price of bitcoin did so because it wants to predict, so of the predictors brings analysis that is not real and they have not make any research of the market, some times its not ideal to follow the predictions of another person and depends on the predictions, even in signal, some people do give out a signal that is inappropriate to the public and after following such predictions they now realize that the signal is made of false and inaccurate
674  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to sell? on: September 19, 2023, 07:16:53 PM
The right time to sell bitcoin, bitcoin holders must have their own target at what price we sell at when the bull market arrives, many influences in various countries predict $100k is the same as $150K, we don't know for sure whether what we are selling will reach its peak or No . It is difficult to predict the selling price at the peak price, the price we sell is the highest price we predict, if it exceeds the price we predicted, that's it, that is our best price to make a profit.
Bitcoin doesn't have right time to sell and right time buy, but many people who is novice in bitcoin think that bitcoin have a specific price and time you can buy bitcoin, if you want to invest in bitcoin for long periods don't reason the particular amount is bitcoin at that point before buying bitcoin, what I encourage people concerning buying and selling of bitcoin is that we should have your target and when you have your target no matter what happens in tye matter in cryptocurrency you will be a beneficiary, what matters in cryptocurrency investment especially bitcoin is that you must have a durable time you will sell your bitcoin
675  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to sell? on: September 18, 2023, 10:54:56 PM
I don't if I have responded In this thread before, but it's obvious that a good investors knows when to sell and when not sell it coin, because during investment of any you will have a budget and also a target so that when the market skyrocket to bullrun then you will know the exact time to sell, but when you don't have the exact time to sell that means you doesn't have a target of selling your bitcoin as well, because what deceived some people is they think that bitcoin price will be going up, secondly greediness is another thing that makes some people not sell their coin.

I agree, a good investors always have a target selling price.  He will not just invest and just go with the flow.  Good investors knows the basic of investing and trading like the idea of  buy low, sell high, and they also study the movement of the market of their investment.  So they project a reasonable target selling price and not just any unrealistic price speculations.  Wise investors make use of the time very well and always want to repeat the profit they made.  So they tend to invest during the bear market and sell at the bull market.  Then re-enter the market when the market situation goes back to being bearish.
Actually your right because their is no investors that will invest that doesn't scrutinised the market, as we investors you most target when the market is low and when the market is higher, so therefore what us to understand is the going to invest you most have a plan and that plan most be something you have observed very well before doing anything. So selling low when you purchased at higher rate is  a total loss to the person, that is while every investors is targeting high.

677  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it too late to seek a new beginning? on: September 18, 2023, 09:02:50 PM
From unsent people when you tell them about bitcoin some of them that is short sighted always condemn bitcoin so what people is to castigate bitcoin and the some people interest of investing in bitcoin down, but in normal circumstances whatever you want to do make a research or personal inquiring about it and take your decision, in 2015 bitcoin doesn't have much firm as it has this period, many condemn people who invest in bitcoin, but today bitcoin is the most influential currency now, so investing in bitcoin you don't need to obtain permission or solicit from any one before investing in it, but if assume its altcoins coin I will encourage to make investigation.
678  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: All business need to risk, so not only crypto! on: September 18, 2023, 07:58:48 PM
Any investment or business you make, you surely will think that you are risking your money, because I don't believe many people will succeed in this life without risk, and crypto currency is one of the best risks you can take without too much worry because it is volatile, and if the price drops he most likely rise again soon or later people who are taking huge risks in crypto as a source of income, you can't just take risk without having much money If you do not want to take risk definitely you won't do any business or investment.
Taking a risk is the basic foundation of someone be a successful in business, some people will not like to take risk but they will come with another agenda or plans of getting rich or getting what they want in a business without been a risk taker,  even though in cryptocurrency and mostly bitcoin and altcoins investment, its a risk we are taking investment in cryptocurrency, some rich people who is into car transportation, its same risk they do take in car business, so we are not supposed to be expecting that our own to be different, I repeat again and again any manual business and Internet business is a risk.
679  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I'm ready to learn crypto on: September 18, 2023, 07:52:43 PM
I'm emphasising on the point "while newbie been afraid of bitcoin whereas senior members are not afraid of bitcoin, number one reason is that the senior colleagues has been acclimatised with the rate or conditions of bitcoin whenever it's experiencing rising and falling, so therefore, we don't need say that bitcoin newbie is afraid of bearish season they only scared of losing their funs or capitals for the investment, in which it's obvious that many people have already experienced the rising and falling of bitcoin before they got to the Sr member rank, so they are no longer been afraid of bitcoin.
680  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: All business need to risk, so not only crypto! on: September 18, 2023, 07:25:19 PM
All businesses involve risk so the reality is that you should have the ability to take risks.

Everyone says crypto Is high risk is it really true? My guess is less because a lot of people have had success with this crypto.
Some are investing and some are making a lot of money by trading. So why can't you?
When someone is ignorant of bitcoin the person will castigate cryptocurrency especially bitcoin to the highest level, but those things should not discouraged us been the crypto enthusiasts, its obvious that both manual business and online business all are risk business, I could remember vividly when I was in school, their is a entrepreneur book I read, after reading that book I started engaging in business knowing that all business is all about risk, and a risk takers is liable to be rich at any point in time. So any business or any entrepreneur is not afraid of risk and lost.
