461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The "loaded slots" scam on: January 26, 2024, 10:57:25 PM
There's scammy ads and promotions all around. Someone claiming that if you pay them x amount of money, they'll give you some very secretive sets of information about what slot games to play and when, in order to get surewins.

It's important to emphasize that this is an outright scam. Slot machines, especially virtual ones, are based on chance alone.
So the term "loaded slot machine" does not apply at all. If you have ever seen someone believing in this myth, do your best to dispel it.
If we're going to gamble, at least we should be educated about it and do it in a healthy manner, without falling into the trap of fallacies.
Seriously? The one that I know of that happened to someone that I know was about football fixed matches. Two matches for over 20 odds and he lost the two matches. I told him not to pay the money but he did not listen.

Can people be so foolish to believe in something like this about casinos that are just based on luck and no way the games can be in a way to favour the gambler. It is definitely a scam.
462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is addiction bad only when it is a problem? on: January 26, 2024, 10:39:37 PM
So I am need to know, is addiction only bad when it is a problem?
If you are gambling and it is not affecting you, that means you are not addicted to gambling at all. Gambling addiction is when it is taking your time or money. If gambling is not taking your time or money, that means you are not addicted but having fun.

Gambling addiction can be referred to as problem gambling. If you do not have problem in gambling, that means you are not addicted to it. If gambling is not affecting you financially and not taking your time that you want to use for other important things, no matter the time you spend gambling, that is not addiction.
463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the definition of a Gambler? Do you consider yourself as a Gambler? on: January 26, 2024, 06:57:24 PM
What do you think about yourself and how do you want to define the word Gambler?
What I noticed is that we do not call ourselves gamblers. I mean my friends that are gambling and I. But we can say that we are gambling or that we want to gamble. I use gambler to address people online like on this forum. It is not directly addressing someone but people that are gambling generally, so no offense. I am gambling online and not offline, so I have not seen anyone that calls me a gambler before  and my friends that know that I am gambling do not call me a gambler but they can say that I am gambling and that I like gambling.
464  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: NOT BUYING ANY COIN, BUT STILL TRADING on: January 26, 2024, 09:08:26 AM
I can't say whether binary options trading is banned in Brazil or not, but it turns out it is possible to trade binary options in Brazil. Whether it is legal or illegal you can find out for yourself by searching for information about it or you can ask a lawyer in your country.
Just like I said in my previous post, derivative trading is not banned in Brazil but those exchanges like Binance are banned not to provide such services to Brazilians.

You're either describing futures, or options.
Yes that is it. But it is good to know that options is part of future trading on exchanges that I have seen. It is also a derivative market trading. That is what most people do not know. But to me it is just gambling.
465  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion payment for those new member on evil IP. on: January 26, 2024, 07:30:27 AM
I know am new here, but I would like to given a suggest for make a new payment with bitcoin lighting or alt-crypto?
Paying with altcoins can not be acceptable for paying for evil fee. Probably lightning network may be accepted one day but not now. What you can do is to go for what Jawhead999 said, to send email to one of the people that can whitelist your account for you. With it you will pay no fee at all.

Some people can be lucky to get free whitelisting too Remove Proxyban (evil fees) - email to get whitelisted for free
It is not that some people may be lucky. If he is new on this forum and the person that wants to whitelist his account think like that, they will whitelist his account for him.

Another suggestion is that some VPN can bypass paying the evil fee. If you register using the VPN. Not all VPN can do that.
466  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: NOT BUYING ANY COIN, BUT STILL TRADING on: January 25, 2024, 08:00:52 PM
Im from Brasil. And here everything related to gambling are being regulated. So maybe thats why i cant find it on binance anymore. Thanks.
Derivative trading by some exchanges like Binance, Bybit and many others is banned in Brazil. I do not think Brazil is against derivative trading, but Brazilian regulators do not give the exchanges permission.

Binance halt derivative trading in Brazil in 2021.

Read more about it here:

467  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: NOT BUYING ANY COIN, BUT STILL TRADING on: January 25, 2024, 07:47:32 PM
Its indeed future trading, but im note able to find it at binance anymore
How do you want to access Binance? Is it through the web or the Android app or Windows app?

Android
It is clearly written on Binance Android app:

In the above image, at the lowest part, you can see Home, Markets, Trade, Futures and Wallets. Click on Futures to access the future trading.

Under futures, you will see USD-M, Coin-M, Options, Bots and Copy trading.

On Binance, you can read articles about them more and also watch the video that Binance will show you when you are about to trade with any of it. You can also search for the video on the Binance app.

Know that future trading is very risky. Use less than the amount of money that you can afford to lose to trade futures. It is dangerous than spot trading.

Can you please help me to discover WHAT is the name of the market where you only bet that the active or will increase the value or will decrease the value without buying or selling it?
You mean derivative trading? You will be able able to use the coin you have to trade but not buying coin like in the spot market. You can use exchanges like Binance, OKX, Bybit, HTX, Kucoin and some other exchanges.  All you have to do is to go to their future trading page.

Or you are talking about options? On the exchanges I mentioned, like Binance, you will see option trading under future trading.

I believe they did change the name of it, so thats why im not finding. I believe its Margin now, but im not sure
Margin trading is similar but not the same as future trading, you may be talking about future trading. Just go there and see if it is future trading that you are talking about. If it is margin trading, go to trading on Binance, you will see margin trading beside spot trading.
470  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaMask Crypto Casinos on: January 25, 2024, 10:36:28 AM
There should be other wallets that you can connect to, not only Metamask is the only web3 wallet that is existing.

I have not used web3 casinos before. I hope people can not be encouraged with ERC20 this way because of high fee. But if connecting using networks like Tron, BRC20 and other ones like that are available, the fee will be low.

I prefer the normal casinos like Livecasino.io. If such casinos are reputed, I prefer them than playing with coins in a way that transaction fee will be deducted from every game that I stake.
471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitwise becomes first US spot Bitcoin ETF to disclose BTC holding addresses on: January 25, 2024, 08:02:07 AM
That means BlackRock and other companies having bitcoin ETF shares people can buy from are not having their bitcoin address disclosed? That is not right is what that I am thinking. But their users already have trust in them.

As for Bitwise, this serves as prove of reserve.

I will like to say that the real bitcoin are not the ETF shares. You do not need to know any third party if you buy the real coin and not a token or shares. Also the only time you have the complete control is when you buy the real bitcoin and have it on noncustodial wallet.
472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are these P2P crypto platforms SCAM? on: January 25, 2024, 07:13:54 AM
I am kind of new to the crypto era, and I am wondering if any of these P2P platforms scammed or legit?

- Paxful
- Bybit
- OKX
- Phemex
- Bitget

Maybe these sound familiar to you but this is my first month into this game and I want to pick the right ones.

Thanks
I have used Paxful before, I left the exchange when it started to make KYC mandatory. The exchange is not a scam. Also that others like OKX and Bybit have made KYC mandatory now also.

I am still using Bybit and OKX, they are both good exchanges. But I do not like the OXK mobile app, it is always slow if you want to select another coin or token from trading page, but it is good on desktop. Although the mobile app is not that bad.

Bybit is good, but I noticed too much trading fee deduction at times on the exchange which I may be wrong or right about. It is good for using altcoins to trade futures, unlike using only stablecoins as it is on most exchanges, you can also use stablecoins to trade futures on Bybit.  Stablecoins available are USDT and USDC for future trading.

I have not used Bitget and Phemex before but they are said to be legit exchanges. You can make more research about them to know if they are shady or not.
473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if you plan to buy BTC for big money: Would you reuse a tested address? on: January 24, 2024, 10:05:46 PM
There is nothing that you are testing. If the seed phrase is correct and it was used to create the address, you can send the coins to the address at ones, or send it to more than one addresses for privacy reason.

Even for small amount of bitcoin, you should not use bitcoin address twice.
474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a social or casual good guesser make better gambling prediction carrier? on: January 24, 2024, 11:28:53 AM
I am concerned to ask, can such a person build a gambling carrier with such an excellent guessing prohibition? Or he should trash it all and believe that gambling predictions remains a game of luck?
Gambling is a game of luck and nothing more. You are gambling among yourselves but if casinos or bookies are involved, you will see how the house edge in casinos and the low odds from bookies will make the casinos and the bookies to be winning than the person you called the best gambler. I repeat, gambling is a game of luck.
475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been able to win a game given to you in the dream? on: January 24, 2024, 10:54:44 AM
So what experience have you entered in your dream about gambling?
Have you ever won a game from dream?
I have won games in dreams and I have lost game in a dreams. This can be common to those that are gambling often. What humans are doing very well can be seen in their dreams.  Also the person that the person (dreamer) is seeing everyday can be seen in a dream. I do not believe in dreaming and gambling with what you saw in the dream. Some dreams can be about a won game or match but in a way that there is not specific selection.
476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you preffer your dealer talkative or not? on: January 24, 2024, 12:09:46 AM
What do you think about this all? Do you like your dealer talkative or not?
And if you prefer the dealer being talkative, would you mind if they made up some story just to keep talking? Or would you prefer even that over silence?
How can a dealer be silent? I have not noticed that before. But they can be silent and talk when necessary which means they are not talkative. But to be completely silent is another thing and that will make the game boring and not worth it at all. I like dealers that talk but in a professional way and talking about what is related to the current game that we are staking on and sometimes announce some winners. If a dealer fake some conversations, I am not the type that will easily know if he or she is faking it, talking makes it lively. But to some people, winning is what that makes it lively and not the talking.
477  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whos here best btc price predictions ? Let's list them here on: January 23, 2024, 01:11:01 PM
First of all move the thread to speculation board or trading board. And if it’s about a service like you have stated of looking for someone to teach you then service board is the best place for this thread and your offer.

If you’re asking about who gets the best prediction here on the forum I will say it’s kind of hard to get such members as many do not showcase there trading ability here but there are members that have notice that they usually get there predictions always spot on and first on my list is ImThour whose monthly predictions most at times comes out well and then the likes of Oshosondy and also tokeweed
Long term bitcoin prediction is not hard to know. I could remember I created a topic December 2022 close to a a new 2023 at the time. The topic was holding could be better or so. It was clear and obvious that 2023 would be bullish. I can remember that I predicted also sometimes that bear market is coming and which might occur in a week or after. I am good at long term prediction. But I am not good in short term trading and I may quit that one this year. It is clear that this bear market would begin which would be the last bear market before halving. Bitcoin ETF confused me but technical analyses won over fundamental and we heard of FTX liquidating their GBTC holdings which started what is happening now. I can also remember the calculation that bitcoin will fall but will not get below $14000 during the massive bear market. Also from calculation is that bitcoin might increased to $170000 in 2024/2025. If that will not occur, all-time-high and $100000 is definite. Although they are just speculations based on analyses, it might be wrong sometimes, but long term are always more accurate.
478  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2024-01-23] Bitcoin’s Price Plunge and Crypto Market Turbulence on: January 23, 2024, 11:49:46 AM
What I can see now is panic sell. It started from FTX GBTC liquidation and people now are selling. I know there is one more bear market before halving, but United States spot bitcoin ETF and its approval confused me, but history is repeating itself again.

For those that are losing, they should not sell. They can by more at low price. Also people that are gaining already can buy more. We are still waiting for all-time-high of 2024/2025
479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any good explanation to this dip on: January 23, 2024, 11:36:34 AM
I read that FTX liquidated $1 billion worth of GBTC has been the main reason for the price of bitcoin that fall.

It's not a thing of surprise anymore to see bitcoin dip about 10 to 20% from its previous price of $48k on it's price within the late December to earlier January
Bitcoin spot ETF was approved on 10th January 2024. Bitcoin got to $49000 on the 11th of January 2024. The fall did not started in December of last year.
480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What You will do in this situation? on: January 23, 2024, 08:27:24 AM
So I was wondering if I could introduce him to sports betting so he could use his ability to predict every game he knows about.
Predicting football matches outcome is beyond just watching the matches. You need to make analyses. Or probably he will only bet on the leagues he use to watch their matches. He may see casino more exciting and entertaining which should be the reason we are gambling.

Besides that, I just feel that if he deposited $10 = IDR 150,000 into a gambling site just to play slots, he would probably suffer a complete loss. But if he can place bets on sports betting, there is a possibility of him winning some money on small bets. Wouldn't that be an advantage for him?
Sport betting let people have false sense of winning, but if they start to gamble with sport matches, they will notice that the odds in casinos is better and that makes sport betting dangerous and also very risky.

If you were in this situation, what would you do? Introduce him to sports betting or let him stick to playing slots. Yesterday, I just let it go but we still often meet at other activities.
What tells you that the guy do not know about sport betting? I do not introduce gambling to anyone.
