Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CATA]Flow | NFT | Middleware | Decentralized Cloud Storage

Storage is the biggest concern in NFT domain and there are lots of issue in this area. Surprisingly no one is willing to address problems in this area and since CATA has taken the responsbility. That will help cata to grab major share of this emerging market.
Lets wait and see how things shape up in future. Its too early to predict that CATA will get most of share. We are not clear that whether this idea will be welcomed by invstors or not. Chances are bright but dont predict the future.

LMFOA The project is dead even before it was launched. You need to be careful while investing anything that looks suspicious. This forum is great place to learn more about projects details.
So you make your mind by just reading here replies. Your choice but thats a very bad strategy I tell you. There is lots of demand for IPFS based storage system and not much work is done so far. CATA has targeted right area.

CATA is designing something for FLOW project, which is a popular NFT marketplace known for its low transaction fees and a better user experience. But haven't seen anything from FLOW where they endorsing CATA that they both have some sort of partnerships.
You are not getting the point. CATA is not re developing the original FLOW blockchain rather "CATA has designed a set of interaction protocols for Flow's Cadence contract layer, enabling integration and full traceability of token transactions and data storage, providing a one-stop solution for NFT publishing, storage, management and distribution. It is fully compatible with Cadence's resource-oriented capabilities, allowing Cadence developers to easily connect NFT contracts to storage facilities". Source

How does news of Musk not buying twitter will impact the NFT and associated market? I heared there is some connection in between, Now the deal has been reversed and I am interested in knowing is there any connection in between.
Nothing to worry about. These two are totally irrelevant to each other, NFTs are coming like a hurricane and there is no way such deals can impact them. CATA aim of targeting NFT is also a god strategy since NFTs are no more just a buzz word these days. DYOR but I think its very safe project for investment. CATA is about decentralized storage not about NFTs, at least go through the whitepaper before you start telling people whether to invest or not.

So real dilemma is that we don't have any decentralized storage solution for NFTs and CATA is the solution? Believe me NFT is just a buzz word that is going to explode any time soon. CATA need to have something strong in order to get success.
Thats very much true. There are many factors these days involved in making a project successful or fail like token utility, who is backing the project etc. If CATA need to make it to mainstream then it need to focus on showing utility of its token that will further attract investors there. just good concept is not everything you need these days. You clearly all not getting what CATA is providing. Yes there is issue to decentralized storage and there is no project that can handle that issue. CATA is not just targeting NFTs but also general decentralized storage elements. So if NFTs not get further boom even then CATA ha bright future.

I was going through your whitepaper and found that you have two core components of your project aka decentralized storage and decentralized database. Can you explain whats the difference between both of them as I think both are closely associated with eachother.
Decentralized storage is the core component of CATA which means that storage can be done on different locations not at central one. While the database is the one that can be used to refer or query the decentralized storage.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC halving party is over, MASS PoC takes you back to ten years ago

MASS has gone to its ATH of 1.6$ since its launch. The price was stable in between 0.5 to 0.7$ but now it has gone down to 0.04 - 0.05$ and is stable in that window. I do agree with your idea that its better to buy this coin from exchange rather then mining it. I don't think there is any loss in buying MASS at current price.
Talk about the future, past is gone. No doubt MASS has enjoyed a great past but its future is not looking great. Price is very much low and there are no solid indication that this price will go up from here. Also we are hearing no news about development from the team.

How long have you been working in digital or crypto industry? Because now it looks like your team very fast made project using very popular theme - NFT - for making fast money.
Im feeling doubt to accuse this as another money grabber or fast money for the developers. This is not a money grabber like so many garbage projects that issued by the scammers in the market. CATA was also working on the cloud storage for the NFT. I thought that the team has been working on the crypto since a long time ago or have enough experience. CATA dev, can you tell me where i can find more information about the social group of CATA. I can only find twitter and github but it's better to talk with the developers directy Unfortunately it has become a norm to accuse a project as scam without any solid evidence. CATA is no doubt a superb project with a very strong use case. If there team can develop what they are projecting then it will be surely a moon shot.

After going this thread I have a question, CATA is designed only to handle NFT projects or it can handle platform developed for general blockchain? Handling sql queries, indexing is very useful for eCommerce projects, can they get benefit from CATA?
Since NFT has strong storage and retrieval requirements, we plan to take NFT as our first target scenario, which will guide the first phase of development of CATA. Of course there are more scenarios that will require indexing, and we will move on to the next iteration when the first phase of product is stable. General-purposed storage will also be one of our goals. I think it will be great if you embed general-purpose storage also in CATA. Since this will allow more members to have stake in CATA, we dont know how long this summer of NFT will long. If CATA provides general storage also then it will continue to grow even if we have NFT winters.

There is trading signal option on your site also. OP can you tell how significant is your signaling? There are so many already in the market, you offer something special or just follow other foot prints?
. Thank you for taking interest in PIGGY TOKEN We do offer trading signals with 80% success rate. That is very good for trading probabilities. We put signals yesterday that BTC will get down from 48000 to 44000 and it reached 43474 👍 . You can check yourself, you will make a lot of money with our signals. Our signaling services are not very expensive, 150 PIK one month. Ok so you only predict about BTC? The whole world is saying BTC will go down after MUSK withdrawal. I don't think this is something very intuitive.

Anyone have any suggestions for Storage based mining? Something like Storj or Sia or Burst? They all have a few things I don't like, I loved Burst but the market share is soooo small.
If you are looking to mine storage based token that has good value on exchanges also then MASS is for you. Its already on MXC, hotbit and now on huobi. Month back its was around 0.10$ to 0.30$ but now its around 0.90$ as it came back from 1.88$. https://massnet.org/en/MASS has acquired a price and is now very much stable around that price. I dont see MASS coming down from 1$ to 0.10$ anymore. Thats because of huge community of investors that are behind the project. Its price has gone down to 0.68$ and chances are that it will bounce back again because of current bullish rate. See its 24hrs volume, its clearly tells the story that it will go up.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deflationary Tokens

it started like a play band the became serious but there was no purpose for it when it was created, its just mainly for the purpose of experiment. and then everything died down when it now started being used as scam.
There are many deflationary tokens that are doing good and are still very active. In crypto whenever something cool pops up, we see lots of such projects. Only few survive the wild fire of crypto rest died, same happened with deflationary. You can still find many active deflationary tokens.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MASS and its blockchain consensus engine
|

This article reminds me of this 'every technology we see today is subject to innovation and disruption. The MASS consensus engine called PoC is obviously superior than the bitcoin Pow consusus algorithm.
However, PoW has been in use for a long time, PoC is yet to be popular. As such we cannot conclude which is superior yet.
Of course there is no comparison b/w PoW with any other consensus algorithm. PoC is for new commers who want to start mining and dont have huge cash and expertise.
