IS this thread for GPU/CPU miners using their computers?

This is for people using Phoenix miner and their GPU for mining.

No CPU mining involved

Hello gentlemen,
I have a strange problem only with one rig. I'm using 5.3b and it runs only up to the point where I get the NO CUDA driver found than just stops. Tried running in most basic settings but nothing seems to work. Has anyone come across this? Meanwhile claymore 15 with exactly the same settings runs just fine.
Rig is running with 8x sapphire 570 8GB nitro+, 110GB virtual memory, 4gb ram, i5-7400.
Last setting:
PhoenixMiner.exe -pool XXXX -ewal XXXX -eworker XXXX -epsw XXXX -ftime 10 -cclock 1200,1200,1200,1200,1200,1200,1200,1200 -mclock 2150,2150,2150,2150,2150,2150,2150,2150 -cvddc 900,900,900,900,900,900,900,900 -mvddc 900,900,900,900,900,900,900,900 -tt 60 -fanmin 50 -fanmax 95
pause
Please help!
EDIT sorry I just read the above messages I'm having the same problem like the previous post!

I started having the same problem 2-3 nights ago. I updated the drivers and it fixed the problem

Windows 10 please....

also could be bad gpu or risers

ok,.. i'll try to update to win10

after 6 more hours make update to win10.. (i can't sleep.. here 4:54AM now)  Grin
used AMD Driver 12.4.2 >>> i can see my GPU all work in device manager  Grin
patch by 'atikmdag-patcher-1.4.7'
switch to compute mode by 'AMD-Compute-Switcher'

but,...
using Phoenix miner 5.2e and 5.3b still same, hashrate still not change like before..

here is the result:

any suggestion to make RX480 back to 30Mhs..?
thanks

The driver you are trying to use is wayyyyyyy soooooo old.

Try 20.4.2

@zeef

can you explain how to run always bat file with admin righs? if I run it manually (right click than "run as admin") with admin rights than rxboost is aplayed but if it runs from startup folder that it isnt with admin rights Sad win10

You set Phoenixminer.exe to run as admin, then when the bat file goes to run the exe, it runs as admin

my rx 580 8GB didn't get pass 30MH/s not sure why, only can get around 29.8Mhz

command i use  -amd -rxboost 30 -clKernel 1 -prate 0.12 -cvddc 825 -mvddc 850

same result with memory overclock to 2250Mhz

using latest pm miner with 20.11.1 driver

What is you clock speed on your gpu core?

Hello. There is a problem: There are several rigs composition; win10, cards RX 580 8Gb, mother Asrock 81, driver 20.9.1 If after rebooting immediately turn on Phoenix v5.2c then the speed from the card is 30mh/s, and if you first run the nanominer v1.12.0 and then Phoenix, the speed on fenex rises more than 32mh/s and keeps stable. If the rig is reloaded, it will be 30mh/s again. To get 32mh/s, the operation with the launch of the nano miner must be repeated and then again it will be 32mh/s. Currently, no additional parameters are registered. If you pre-launch the nano miner only on one map, then the speed will increase only on one map. If you put strap 1 on the map where the speed is already 32mh/s, then the speed drops to 30 mh/s. What could be the problem? Which parameter should I add or change? This pattern always works on different rigs.

yes im having that problem too. it looks like 5.2a 5.2b 5.2c has that problem, also developer do not recommend 20.9.1 driver

I haven't tried all the other drivers. The 20.9.1 driver is recommended for Phoenix version 5.2 . The first page says that we recommend drivers from 19.12.2 to 20.11.1 (inclusive). Maybe someone checked on which drivers there is no such problem?

 19.12.2 to 20.8.1 (inclusive).

I had a issue with PhoenixMiner 5.1c
My Rig is:
CPU: G3930
RAM:; 16GB DDR4
HDD SSD240GB
GPU: 7x RX570 4GB
POOL: Coinotron

IMPORTANT! All owners of AMD cards with 4 GB RAM must upgrade to PhoenixMiner 5.2b or later version to continue mining after DAG epoch 373 (set -daglim 1, or see bellow how to use the -daglim option; you also need to add -dagrestart 1 to allow maxium possible value of -daglim). Additionally, here are some important tips for longest possible usage of 4 GB AMD cards with PhoenixMiner 5.2a and later:
Issue: yesterday my rig making 175Mhash now today cannot start the miner, still 0mhash and says thread not responding.
Im use drivers AMD 27.20.12029.1000.

Regards!

Can someone help me imply the "-daglim 1 -dagrestart 1" to just my gpu12.  I only have one 4gb card in my system and I dont want to limit the rest.

Is it even possible to do so?

start 2 pheonixminers one with the 8gb and one with just the 4gb

I was hoping there was a way to do in in a single instance or PM
