Just having basic common sense and stepping away from the situation to see the whole picture will help a lot.

Take some time and observe. Think.

People just need to think a little more about what they're doing.

There are now 3 new addresses available. They are, however, not yet available in the shoppy store. So, if you're interested, just send me a message.

McAffee just claims these things to boost his own crypto portfolio, I guess.
He's making sky-high predictions every month. Just don't take him seriously.

And don't invest based on his advice (as you could now see).

I have created an AUTOBUY shoppy store where you can immediately buy the addresses!

Hi all, a new address is available!

Pattern: 1Bedchair
Address: 1BedchairFBLLkbC9EgACR7BQv5VGLoHeK

It's added to the OP's address sale list.
7  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Rare BTC vanity adresses on: July 22, 2020, 10:29:37 AM
I know it's less secure, but this way, I am able to discover more addresses.
Ok, well you are of course entitled to ensure your own ideas.

My closing words: I would warn everyone strongly against buying such an address:
  • The private key for the address you buy is not private
  • Bitcoin has a rule "your keys, your coins". So in this case: "not your keys, not your coins"
  • Why would you want to pay $400+ in BTC equivalent for an unusable address?

Thanks! Oh my bad! Good that you mentioned it. My price had a typo. The price is not 0.05BTC, but 0.005BTC!
This would be $40+ in today's conversion rate.

I'm going to correct it!

The address is fully usable. There's just a risk to any vanity address that's generated by a third-party. You trust the third-party to remove the private key. I am not considering myself an attacker and I will permanently destroy the keys.
There is no way of proving you indeed destroyed the key. Bitcoin is trustless, using an address where the private key is known by at least one other party makes it you have to put trust into that party. It is just a really bad idea, disclaimers or not.

And there are ways generating vanity addresses by a third-party without the need of exposing the private key to the third party as I've shown.

Yes, you are absolutely right. Bitcoin is trustless. The way to generate vanity addresses you've shown is definitely possible if you have received a buyer's order and then you generate a vanity address for him using his provided key.
This does not work for my strategy, because I want to generate bulk addresses where buyers can pick an address they like AFTER it's already discovered. Just like in an online shop where you buy a product that's available immediately.

I know it's less secure, but this way, I am able to discover more addresses.
9  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Rare BTC vanity adresses on: July 22, 2020, 09:59:29 AM
Aside from that, these addresses should be used for fun and nobody should permanently keep significant amounts of money on them.
This seems to contradict your earlier statement: "This makes it incredibly hard for attackers to replicate the look of your address". Why would that be important if you are offering an unusable address?

I have added a disclaimer regarding this.

Hi Royse777, yes that's true and that's the downside of all vanity addresses generated externally. I can only ensure I will permanently delete the private key once it's sold.
Sorry not ALL. If I generate a key for me and keep it private then no one is going to know about it.

Maybe you need to add a clause on the OP clearly stating that this is for fun and do not store any coin to these addresses unless the buyer has extreme trust on you.

You are right. Privately generated keys are more secure because nobody else gets access to the key. That's what I meant with "vanity addresses generated externally" (from a third-party).

Yes, that's true. I will add such a clause. This will make everything more transparent. Thank you. Smiley

I am selling the private keys (full ownership) of these very rare BTC vanity addresses
Wrong, it will be shared ownership in between you and whoever will be buying it. This does not make sense - why would anyone take this risk of buying these addresses despite the rarity?

12  Economy / Digital goods / [✔️AUTOBUY][Rare] BTC Vanity Adresses for Sale! on: July 22, 2020, 09:33:00 AM
Hi everyone,

I am selling the private keys (full ownership) of these very rare BTC vanity addresses:

BTC VANITY ADDRESS AUTOBUY STORE: https://shoppy.gg/@sakurro/groups/C4DiBCI

✔️ 5 Digits:
  • Pattern: 1Asset
    Address: 1AssetcG2c8dxZKc2sE2HE7WZyVk9DdmQM

💯 8 DIGITS (EXTREMELY RARE):
  • Pattern: 1Notewise
    Adress: 1NotewiseyHSKPh4SnSMXi5WU3DVxzb43G
  • Pattern: 1adeption
    Address: 1adeption5dFCJ2UBnq8EzNny2XS8sagP
  • Pattern: 1Bedchair
    Address: 1BedchairFBLLkbC9EgACR7BQv5VGLoHeK
  • Pattern: 1Licencee
    Address: 1LicenceefQikWdmVNoqXsmq4Zm69H75kY
  • Pattern: 1Parbreak
    Address: 1ParbreakDyRWrKAEBoC2biP43QcXNVzPX
  • Pattern: 1Creviced
    Address: 1CrevicedPs6KX3DKYczd9MkDamTkybHd6

What's special about them?
The chance to discover such an 8+ digit human-readable address is less than 1 in 128.000.000.000.000. This makes it incredibly hard for attackers to replicate the look of your address because they would have to spend enormous computing power to generate a similar-looking address.

And on top of that, it looks incredibly cool and is a perfect show-off!

I am working on discovering more such addresses and will keep this thread updated.

Price per address: 40$
Payment method: BTC, LTC
Delivery: E-Mail

DISCLAIMER: These addresses and private keys are generated on my hardware setup and are therefore exposed to me. I do ensure that I will permanently remove the key from my hard drive after it is sold. However, the vanity addresses should still be used with caution and you should not use it as your permanent BTC storage unless you have extreme trust in me. It is just for fun.

Happy buying! Smiley
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Difference Stock Trading and BTC trading on: July 22, 2020, 07:15:11 AM
Hi all,

Is there any fundamental difference between stock trading and Bitcoin trading?

Do both markets behave in the same fundamental way or are there any significant differences in crypto?

Could you be an expert about stock trading and then do wwll on cryptos as well?

Best,

Sakurro
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Are IPs stored in the blockchain? on: July 22, 2020, 06:49:29 AM
Hi all,

when a new transaction is created and spread over the network, is the IP of the original creator of the transaction stored?

Just wondering, because this would harm privacy.

Thanks in advance!

Hello.

I am 49 years old and have high school and junior high school sons.
My salary is $2,400 a month, but I have to repay $2,000 each month.
I have a side job, but I'm having trouble paying my tuition.

I recently found out about cryptocurrencies.

It's a little bit, so it would be helpful if you could donate at BTC.

my BTC address:
1J2LUCBRkgtDFTYFL1TxVRGkG1WdemK54n

Thank you for your cooperation.

I feel sorry for you. This must be a hard time. But the only sustainable way to get out of the situation is to increase your salary and decrease your expenses.
People with cryptocurrencies don't magically create money out of thin air. Hope you didn't get something wrong here.

I'd suggest you go and increase your knowledge about your job. Then, pick up a book for salary negotiation and career. And then act on that knowledge.

BTC will not magically make you rich.

One of the best article which is showing a lot of detail about Crypto currencies world.

Source: https://cryptodaily.co.uk/2020/07/how-back-control-crypto

Hi gmjutt6,

Thank you for sharing.
For future posts, I think it would be better if you include a few sentences as an outline.
At least let people know some contents of the article, so everyone can decide whether to click or not.

This also helps if the link is down in the future.

Anyways:

Yes, it's true. Any significant amount of crypto should be in your own hand and not in some online server-side wallet or an exchange.

I prefer hardware wallets for storing bitcoin.

18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Questions about bitcoin transactions on: July 21, 2020, 09:39:35 PM

2. Yes a higher fee gives a higher priority but so does the age of the transaction (afaik).

Welcome to cryptocurrency and the forum if you're new also!

I just wanted to add that in case transaction fee is selected too low, it is technically possible that a transaction is never included in the next block.
Vice versa, it is also possible to include a transaction without any fees.

Just some random facts that might be interesting to some people.  Smiley
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PoW is not what makes Bitcoin secure on: July 21, 2020, 09:32:23 PM
I had many comments saying that the Proof-of-Work algorithm is what makes Bitcoin secure and resist the 51% attack. This is not true. What makes Bitcoin practically resilient to the 51% attack is its size. Because of Bitcoins size it's extremely expensive to perform this attack and therefore nobody will likely do it. But also because of Bitcoins size and because it doesn't really scale, it's very slow. Also Proof-of-Work algorithm is still very susceptible to the 51% attack. I encourage to look into Monero. Monero is basically everything Bitcoin promised to be.

Bitcoin is the only true decentralized currency. If even the blockchain of Ethereum, the second-largest currency, can be reverted by its development team (which has happened before), it is out of question that any other coin matches the security of bitcoin.
All other coins can effectively be reverted or modified by a small group of people.

This is impossible for bitcoin because it is extremely expensive to attack. To me, that's a good thing.
