141  Other / Off-topic / Re: Woman Asks 100 Men For Sex, But How Many Said Yes? on: April 29, 2015, 12:36:27 AM
the men who said no were probably afraid it was a prostitution sting.
I know it would ring my skepticism alarm.
142  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [16000 TH] BTC Guild - Pays TxFees+NMC, Stratum, VarDiff, Private Servers on: April 28, 2015, 09:22:47 PM
How many rounds does one need to fill to get the full payout?
I'm not sure I'm asking this correctly, but the example I'll use is this.
block was found this am at 926 am, I had a miner drop off prior to that so I didn't get a normal payout for that miner.
The shift that was part of that block I'm guessing ended at 8:48 am.
Next several shifts miner is at full contribution it normally does.
So 10:32 , 12:16 and 2pm shifts all have normal contributions. 350%

So why wouldn't I get the "normal" payout for the block that was found at 2:47 pm.
the 3:44 shift was also the miners full normal contribution.

3 full complete shifts that my miner was at 350% but the pay was for only 301%

Pool hash is the same. just different days with that small drop off for 2 shifts.
The miner still contributed work through all the shifts, just not what it normall did.
So I can understand a low payout on the am block but not so much on the afternoon one.
Now if a few blocks were found before noon, I would understand a low payout there too.
But it seems off the miner needs to work that long and still not be "ramped back up"

You don't use it (the internet for information gathering) very well to come here make your first post whining about how you got a virus from being stupid and can't buy btc at market price.

Oh shut up. If someone comes anywhere for help you do your best to help them or - if you cant - stay out of it and direct them to someone that can.

Yes, this is not bitcoin related or only remotly, but instead of attacking someone seeking help, just report the thread to be moved into offtopic and go on your way.

@Danny moving this into offtopic also has the benefit that no one here gets any satoshi for their posts.

Posts in the off-topic board do not count.

145  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: router problem on: April 28, 2015, 07:29:40 AM
I have asus router .

Why is need dns google ip change ?

I think that problem is much people which is connected router and probably is hight request and router stuping andshut down and it need rebot that working .

If people are connecting to your router put security on it.  We still don't have enough info to know what's wrong.

You seem to find a problem a day as a minimum.  I'm not sure what your doing but its not a good thing to have so many problems.

I have security but on router when are 5 cliend than shut down internet

Any modern router can handle much more then 5 clients.  With all problems you have hire some IT person in your local country to come help you get set up.

Bitmain begged almost for you to use their help I still cannot figure out why you don't want to, except if your only reason is to spam board.

There told me that problem is 5 client because crashing and hight request is
wouldn't it be easier to ask in your native language instead of failing in engrish here?
Especially if you want tech support. I know several other posts of yours, users have suggested you post in your own language.
So either you don't give a shit, you are trolling or you're truly fucking stupid.
146  Other / Off-topic / Re: Please Help - Ransomware has stolen my files and I need to pay in BitCoins on: April 28, 2015, 01:44:29 AM
I only stopped in here to thank you guys for your time and let you know what I decided to do.....

I'll set the remaining facts straight for those that would prefer to make up your own.   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I got the Teslacrypt virus.  I'm not sure how.  I haven't had a virus in years.  Water under the bridge at this point......

This isn't the normal kind of virus most of us have gotten from a friend's email or some bad advertising malware.  It encrypted all of my files, without the key it's just like deleting them.  As far as I was aware before this, the concept was something out of the movies.  I didn't know that there were viruses that severe that regular people could get.

I'm an independent consultant.  I got the job in a hurry, and had to get set up to work from home in a hurry.  It's been a-holes and elbows since then, for 6 months now.  The only assistance I've had from the companies IT was the installation of the AV software.  It's a small company, even the IT guy is an outside contractor.

I checked my "continuous backup drive" and the dates on the backup file that I believed contained my files was old, this led me to believe something went wrong and I did not have a recent backup.  I'm a mechanical engineer, not a computer specialist.

I decided not to pay the ransom.  Mostly because I don't have the means where I live to easily get bitcoins to pay the ransom.  Danny H, who offered to help me, said that was probably the smartest thing to do anyway and I thanked him for his help.

I found when I restored from the backup that in fact it was an incremental backup, and I had files from my last backup from the end of March.  I left for a prototype build in S. Illinois right after that and didn't really author too many new files between then and now, so I'm not losing a lot - but I didn't know that when I came here in a panic.

Why did I come here?  Someone was pretty hot and bothered about that.  Well like I said, I was having a tough time figuring out how to buy the coins with the payment means that I have available.  And so many places that claim to be exchanges that I signed up for and haven't heard anything since.

And I lack patience, and like many of us, I use the internet for information gathering - Don't you?  Or do you just automatically know everything, Mr BCWinning?

Whatever, you're a chump for saying what you did.  I'm no crook and I found the advice I was looking for.  So it seems I'm a little smarter than you think.  And BTW, I'm not a troll either, I don't know what gave you that idea.  I was in a panic over lost data in a critical portion of a prototype development, and I'm the entire engineering department on this, so I had a right to become a little panicked.

To the rest of you that were helpful, thanks again very much.

In the end, I lost alot of time, was able to recover the Bill of Material from the hackers "free trial" download, and so only lost several other files that I can recreate.  I got off super lucky.

This won't happen again, as soon as my computer and data are back up and running IT is going to get me connected to their network for regular backups.

Thanks again everyone

Toddball

PS  Danny just saw your post...  So I guess they are the trolls you warned about.  Hah.  I don't like being accused of trolling.  Live and Learn.  You guys are alright by me.  Good Luck

147  Other / Off-topic / Re: Please Help - Ransomware has stolen my files and I need to pay in BitCoins on: April 27, 2015, 07:17:57 AM
We have nothing to do with ransomware and this isn't an exchange site.
So, Why the fuck would you create an account here looking for help.
Too bad localbitcoins won't sell at market rate, that is our problem some how?
You can't figure out how to buy them at an exchange but you figured out how to create an account here
and troll the forums.
Don't click on BS links, you deserved what you got.

I believe in naka, i have now 0 coins, hope that soon will filled my orders Smiley . NakamotoDark is good coin, community coin ! BUT, the takeover was fake, just to keep the coin on trex Smiley. Cheers and have fun guys

Based on what do you claim this? I called the takeover and take responsibility for it. Coin was dying, and yes of course one of the reasons was to not get delisted. So far dev is not against the community coming together and making this work. What is your angle?
mate, i tell you, i like NAKA. Was mining 2 months (all 50k blocks) with 8 280x. One of the best coin here, no ipo, no ico, everything is ok Smiley. Will never put buy order, if i not beleive in naka Smiley. And yes, i can tell you honest, that i was maked fud to buy cheap Smiley

Looks like you're right, people dumping hard  Sad

Dumpers gonna dump. I'm quite happy to be accumulating at these insane prices actually. Path upwards looks to be clearing, only 1.5btc to 100 now Cheesy

700k sell order at 47 and another 400k sells up to 57. Why that isn't being staked and earning more instead of on the exchange is the question. Someone doesn't have faith and is happy to dump their shit before it gets a chance to delist in the next month again?

looking much better but still strong sell orders.
buys could be much stronger. glad we saved it from being delisted for another month at least.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NKT] NAKAMOTODARK [UNIQUE BITTREX QT5WEBKIT IN-WALLET TRADING+WIKIPEDIA][NKT] on: April 23, 2015, 01:25:10 PM
What is happening here is embarassing.

Seems dev is scammed from community.
Take-over without his agreement(or just a fake try from bagholders)

I'm ready starting to invest a lot again here but i need some clarifications:

-Need to know if dev is really going to made a community takeover
-How much dev recieved for the take-over
-If community have control on this thread and will create a new-one closing this ones
-Who is the leader of the take-over

I followed nkt,and dev was always honest, without recieving nothing more then a brunch of btc as donations since december.

So,please, who posted about the take over: Be clear.

the lack of even communicating in this thread on mundane shit seems to show a clear choice of not give a fuck abandonment to me..
Of course maybe you are the dev, the same broken english and patterns.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NKT] NAKAMOTODARK [UNIQUE BITTREX QT5WEBKIT IN-WALLET TRADING+WIKIPEDIA][NKT] on: April 21, 2015, 09:48:28 PM
Well I can say that for me dev is gone, I haven't heard from him or talked in a very long time. This makes me sad, as this was the first coin I did the brand for and had big plans for the UI, integration with bots, and even some videogame stuff coming.

I set up the slack so we could all gather there and make this happen, so far nobody seems to care. All I see is people claiming they supported... but where's the support?

I'm still up for doing this but not with a totally disconnected community that at the very least I can say has not supported me for one second, except for the odd (and very welcome) exception. So if you people wanna do this thing, let's do this thing like a tight family or not do it at all.

It may just be community takeover time... that depends on the community I suppose.
If I was any kind of a coder I would be. Guess copying and pasting can't be too hard though it got this coin this far.
Maybe the dev had good intentions yet I never got the impression they were in it for the long run.
Changing/removing road maps than bringing it back with some lame VB BS plus it just seems everyone wants to get rich off the next big thing and move on.
if they were involved with the crypto community they wouldn't be logged off for several days at a time unless they have another account and have spun up the next pump and dump.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Whalecoin (WHAL) - Sha256 on: April 17, 2015, 08:09:13 PM

http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ghash.io

Cex.io works but ghash is down for like 4 hours.. Wonder what happens to my mining shares for all this time period.
they throw them away after that long so it's pointless.
their pplns version is whacked.
Honestly I can't think of a better pool to get fucked with like this.
They act so arrogant to their users. So whoever is doing this has my full support.
154  Other / New forum software / Re: Dealing with swearing too much on: April 15, 2015, 12:37:56 AM
I'm sure that swearing too much is against the rules anyway so I dont know why this has been brought up especially by a verteran member and a well respected one at that

Its not, excessive unneccessary colorful language does make your post more likely to be deleted though. If you want to call someone an asshole, you are welcome to do so, if you want to call someone and their family a string of words that would make a sailor faint, it still isn't necessarily against the rules, but it can be deleted if its so distracting that its going to drag everything off topic.

People have their own forms of expression, if you dont like how many obscenities someone sprinkles into their posts, you are free to ignore them. We aren't going to tell people to talk differently, the amount of 10 year olds on this forum who can't handle the language is at a minimum. If you are someone with delicate sensibilies, you can click the ignore button.
common sense amen!

Does .bit domain really work ? I didnt manage to find any domain working.

Do we need to do something?

Cheer

Valkir
if on windows you not only need the blockchain but you need a plugin for the browser or meowbit.
Namecoin should have a .bit presence for testing purposes but I don't think they do.

moved on to the next pump and dump scam they created.
Sad really, thought it had promise. Maybe it will, too may shit coins on the scene though.
I imagine bittrex will delist this in the next 30 days.
Only light I see is the massive buy orders on the bottom. It appears there is some faith left in it.

That luck would be better with a 0% fee?  Bad luck is bad luck regardless of fee's.
