1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / ⚡️⚡️[ANN] vSlice | VSL | Decentralized File Storage [ANN]⚡️⚡️  on: September 26, 2020, 02:06:37 PM
vSlice is swapping to a new Chain, to swap your tokens just leave them at Crex24.
They will process the swap at 30.09.2020

What is vSlice

vSlice is a decentralized token which enables anyone to rent out storage space on their computers and phones. Likewise, anyone can buy storage on the vSlice network.

By allowing anyone in the world to join the network, it can create a huge source of data storage. As more and more systems become computerized, it will be needed to satisfy the increase in demand.

What are the advantages?

They include:

  • Cost - By creating a larger free market for data storage, this should drive the price down.
  • Scale - Bringing millions of computers around the world together will create a huge storage network.
  • Economical - Instead of building new storage computers, Filecoin makes use of existing resources.
  • Safety - While Dropbox and iCloud have been hacked, a decentralized network means there is no single point of attack, making it harder to compromise.

Is it safe?

Saving your documents on someone else’s computer is risky. However, vSlice splits up data, a bit like shredding it, so nobody can piece it together. However, it knows how the data fits together and rearranges it when it’s requested.

This means the host cannot simply hack the document on their computer and gain access to the user’s files. If they tried to hack it, they would find just a stream of meaningless data.

The future

Cloud storage providers like Amazon and Google rack in a lot of money. This shows there is big demand in the market. If customers decide to trust decentralized services they may find themselves saving a lot of money. This money would also go straight back into the economy as it would go to individuals and small businesses. This could have a really positive effect on people’s lives.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is for day trading on: September 25, 2020, 11:47:57 PM
You need to have a lookout for new coins, which have still high volatility in the first few weeks of their release. Of course you need to do your research, if this is a potentially good project in terms of tech and inovativity. Lastly, there is the ounce of luck you need! But that is like everywhere in crypto.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Buy and Hold Really the Best Strategy in Crypto? on: September 25, 2020, 10:24:38 PM
It depends always in what crypto we are holding, I'd been holding different bounty rewards token before and it doesn't earn at all some already lose their value. Buy and Hold will depend on the project on upto when we are going to hold them, is there's a chance that they will still grow like developing their products or creating some hype.

I'd learn to trade mostly than to hold since the market is not like what it was when the popularity started there is a need to move to make it works for you than to simply wait for it, if we are too busy, we must only invest in bitcoin not in any other non popular crypto.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency on: September 24, 2020, 03:45:05 PM
It's not easy to make money in general. People who believe in free money in general are quite naive. Crypto projects should be valued by their fundamentals and the potential coming from real life use cases - not by the promises of easy money.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO WhitePaper Matter Most? on: September 24, 2020, 03:26:38 PM
Yes, just like you i dont treat whitepaper as a reference whether the ICO is real or not for me one of my best reference finding a real bounty campaign of an existing ICO is the team road show. Road show is how the team promote their product in a public conference. Schedule of places where they have a speech. So having these acticity can proof that the project is real existing and not created by mind without act
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is good amount to start day trading is 100$ enough?? on: September 24, 2020, 03:00:54 PM
There are no exact rules of capital used to start day trading, because everyone has different financial abilities. Most importantly used
money that we can afford to lose, to start day trading with $ 100 is not a problem. And if it happens losses when day trading like you
experience it is normal that happens to all traders, even myself several times suffered losses. That will be a valuable lesson in order to
find the mistakes we make and not will repeat it again, in the end we can produce the profit we want.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine if an altcoin is worth investing in? on: September 24, 2020, 02:50:16 PM
Good project speaks for itself so for me first impression is very important.
Other than that you have to check the usual things like use cases, team experience and competency plus whats newer and better this project is coming up with and finally your gut feeling. But do remember you can still lose so keep in mind it is a risky world.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade by yourself on: September 24, 2020, 12:09:25 PM
right. When I started trading, I was involved in many signal groups. and when I received many signals and I was confused. I don't know how to set the stoploss properly and I don't know how to set the target. I was even more worried about my trading orders when I started making open orders. after such a bad long time, I realized that I should trade by myself. And since then, I've won more and I'm not as nervous as when I heard the signal from others. Trading by yourself will help us learn a lot.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Altcoins getting Boycotted? on: September 24, 2020, 11:57:14 AM
Most altcoins are currently dimmed in value, but in certain altcoins  like ethereum, Litecoin, Doge, XRP, BNB and many more there are still interested people to trade, investors are still interested in these coins. Who survives then he is the strong though Bitcoin dominates, but altcoin must be able to survive in all situations if want to still get the hearts of traders and investors.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't trade if you're inexperience rather stake your coins. on: September 24, 2020, 11:50:55 AM
Staking altcoins is mostly a bad idea too. Staking is what, mostly at like more or less 6% APY? Sure, it sounds attractive enough in paper(compared to like more or less 1.5% APY through banks), but you also need to take into consideration the price of that certain altcoin. You gained 6% in a year, congrats, but if that certain altcoin dropped 10%(I'm being conservative here) in price in the same year, then you end up losing anyway. Picking an altcoin that actually increases in price in a year is easier said than done.

I never heard of such an issue before, the only issue I heard of was lose of privat key...
