1  Other / Off-topic / VPN regulations on: November 27, 2020, 03:49:41 PM
Hi guys ! My name’s Dave.

There are so many VPN services and many traders use them to hide their residence country so they can use certain crypto-exchange or some other platform which prohibits some countries resindents from participation(which is very unfair in my opinion). I'm pretty sure the authorities in every country are pretty aware of it but still allow VPN services to carry on. Even in China you can use VPN and visit any webiste.
Why do they allow VPN's? Maybe it's just useless and authorities are able to identify user's location anyway but it marks those who use VPN and place them in some database.

Any help will be fine.
Thank you in advance.

Is it possible to do money laundering via bitcoin? I mean as no one knows if you have bitcoin and how much bitcoin do you actually own, it could be used to convert black money to white right? Or at least store your black money without much hassle. But there is the risk of its value but I think for people who have lots of black money and don't want to be caught, this risk might be worth taking for them isn't it?
What are your thoughts?

I honestly fine if KYC is needed on exchange. Because i think it's gonna be safe if it's on big exchange like binance, but there's no guaranteed for that. also KYC can help when your account hacked or even the exchange get hacked like what just happen lately with kucoin.ข่าวกีฬาออนไลน์

KYCs are not the problem here. The problem I see is where you are entrusting your information to.  Because their are certain ICOs that will only fish out your information as it has more value for them rather than the token they are creating. KYCs are a requirement of some countries' government as it is their way of regulating or being in touch with their citizens. What I would normally do before trusting my personal information to other entities such as ICOs or even exchanges I will research on them if they have a good background.ข่าวกีฬาออนไลน์
