1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TRADEHILL BANK ACCOUNTS FROZEN!!!! on: August 05, 2011, 08:45:11 PM
I have just received an email from tradehill stating that their bank account was frozen. I have a wire transfer comming to me via their account.

I guess I wont be getting it any time soon.
I have btc and paxum still. I need the money ASAP.

What can I do?

You again?

He's not the only one waiting. I've been waiting since Monday for my wire withdrawal. I hope they get this sorted soon, because the longer this goes on for the more serious this situation becomes.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TradeHill - Who we are on: August 05, 2011, 03:28:20 PM
I've been waiting 4 days. Made a request for wire withdrawal on monday morning, still showing "In Process".

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MT. GOX HACKED! Someone tell Magical Tux now! on: July 31, 2011, 02:27:41 PM
Mt. Gox has been hacked:
http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=33185.0

Shut down the site immediately and do another rollback please.

Assuming something doesnt make it real.

It is a bug and is being resolved, nothing got hacked.

Yeah well, Magical Tux could at least post here to let us know this and alleviate fears. Not everybody visits IRC to get the latest updates.

Or he could not waste his time on a forum and just work on fixing the problem......

Um...all he has to say is 'I am aware of the problem, it is a bug and it is being fixed'...30 seconds is all it takes to post this and thousands of worried account holders no longer panic and spread fears.

Magical Tux should post here ASAP so we know he is aware of the problem.

Has Mt. Gox been hacked again? Is it a bug? What's going on?

Time for another rollback?

Discuss.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My btc been steal to "allinvain-transactions-addresses.txt" on: June 25, 2011, 04:21:12 PM
PROTIP: ignore anyone with less then 100 posts.

That is utter bullshit.  Not every person needs to post and post and post to have credibility.

+1

It is quality of posts that count, not quantity.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For those who can't access their mtgox account with new password - try this on: June 25, 2011, 04:12:47 PM
But when they get into your machine and steal that plain text file, it will be mtgox's fault for enforcing an impossible password and making us write it down elsewhere.
Well I just logged in now and changed my password to 20 characters with symbols etc, and do not have it stored on my computer but I have to still write it down on paper, because there is no way I will be able to memorize it.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MT GOX - Account-Tool - Not working..? on: June 25, 2011, 01:13:04 PM
For those unable to login try copying and pasting the password into the box instead of typing it.

Check this thread:

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / For those who can't access their mtgox account with new password - try this on: June 25, 2011, 12:58:52 PM
I was unable to login on my first few attempts and I was sure I was using the correct details username and password. Then I remembered when I entered my new password on the account recovery page, I typed the password into notepad and then copied and pasted it into the boxes instead of typing it (because I couldn't be bothered typing it twice). So I tried copying and pasting the password in the box and I was able to login.

Am i the only one who cant access my account?
Im sure im inserting username and password correctly!

14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The REAL reason MtGox wanted to know your balance on: June 25, 2011, 04:06:03 AM
I hope this is not the case. I was 99% sure that my balance was $5,250 but was not 100% sure so I decided to put 'over $5,000' as my last balance estimation. I hope when I login my balance is not $5,000  Embarrassed

(Note these are not the actual figures for my account but you get the general idea)

Edit: My account balance is correct. I checked it here: https://claim.mtgox.com/status.html
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mt Gox opens in less that 5 hours. Anyone gotten a "Recovery Success" email? on: June 24, 2011, 05:34:32 AM
My recovery request was accepted too.  Smiley

thanks for all the help guys, think I finally got it sorted Smiley

does 7Mhash/s sound about right?
Yes. Go here for a comparison of cards for mining: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison

If you can afford it you should get yourself an ATI 5850. You will then get around 300 Mhash/s. I'd also recommend joining a mining pool instead of mining on your own due to the high difficulty rate.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin7.com on: June 23, 2011, 11:17:34 PM
I joined them about a week ago. So far I have had no problems and have made a few successful withdrawals to Liberty Reserve (all under $100).

Hey all,

I'm new in the forum, but have been mining bitcoins for a few months already.

Finally joined the forum today.  Smiley
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's your Mhash/s? (Pissing contest here) on: June 22, 2011, 10:47:52 PM
I'm getting 560 Mhash/s total from my 2 x 5850.
