I like that untrusted feedback is hidden,
but please make "Show ratings" stick out more - when you skim the page, it is too easy to miss. Perhaps a button widget would be better?

If anyone wants to sell me their ripples, I'll take them off your hands! I agree 100% that the ripple.com website/interface is perhaps one of the worst things I've seen in 25+ years of computer use. It's like a BTC exchange, except super confusing and hand wavy. If they can simply it, it has a chance for success.

yet another suggestion:
if you've set a password, have an option: "Require password on withdraw"
(have it be on by default, but users can disable it if they find it annoying)
I don't like the idea that someone could walk up to my computer while I'm away, and withdraw my coins to their own address. Or, if there was some cross-site scripting thingie that could steal my cookie.
Again, I know about google auth, but it is not an option for some people.

Edit: what happens if your email gets hacked and your Just-Dice account doesn't? I guess the answer is the same as the answer to "what happens if your google auth phone gets lost?" (although in that case hopefully you have a backup of the secret).
Ahh, that reminds me of the other suggestion I was going to make: emergency return address: let me set a bitcoin address (that once set, cannot be changed) that my coins will be returned to in a situation like this. Another situation this would be used in, would be if you ever had to take just-dice down and needed to return everyone's investments. A few mining sites have this I think.

Funny. That's exactly what I'm working on right now. now that I think of it, a better filter would be "Only show wins/losses over: xxx BTC" a few more ideas: under stats, show what % is user-invested and what % is the house's also under stats, "site is up", add next to it: (xxx btc/day") an option : be anonymous / don't show my username & id# on the main page

Another suggestion: Have the option to link an email address to an account. Let me set it so that whenever I want to withdraw from my account, a code is sent to my email address, and I need that code to complete the withdraw. This way, if my account were ever hacked, the hacker would also have to control my email account, too. I know you already support google authenticator, but not everyone wants to involve their phone with a betting site

a suggestion:
have a filter on the main page (the All Bets tab), "Only show bets over: (.001, .01, .1, 1, 5, etc)" so I can limit the display to large bets - sort of like what bitcoinity.org has on their site ("Don't show trades below")

As long as untrusted feedback is hidden (requiring a click or even captcha to see), and the feedback giver's own trust is shown next to their name, I'm OK with the current system.
yelp has you enter a captcha to see their untrusted feedback, I used to be annoyed with this, but I can see why they do it now.
(maybe defaulttrust could be generated by an algorithm some day!)

Also, remember that pirateat40 had an absolutely spectacular otc rating. It's a subject of debate whether or not that rating was instrumental to his scam. In my opinion any trust system that's easy for newbies to use as guidance effectively suppresses low-level scamming at the cost of assisting epic pirate-scale scamming. It's like credit default swaps for the economy of trust.
The problem is, newbies don't know what TO trust. It's easy to game the system. I've noticed that several people have been scammed because the poster has the words "Hero Member" under their name. I've had several people refuse to trade with me because I have "Jr. Member" under my name. The difference? The hero's account is only a few weeks old, and he posted 100's of fluff posts. I've been here since 2010. All the hero needs is to make a few fake accounts, give himself a few fake trade ratings, and he's all set to scam. A newbie has no idea that this is possible. They assume it's (1) hard to get the words HERO under your name (2) it's hard to make fake accounts (3) Untrusted feedback means something. Right now I think the titles under posters names + showing untrusted feedback just helps scammers

Bump!
Can I have my 30,000 XRP back? Why did you delete my message? Now you are ignoring me? (1) "Why did you delete my message?": I didn't, this is an unmoderated thread, I couldn't if I wanted (2) "Now you are ignoring me?": I didn't, I've sent you several PM's trying to help you (3) "Can I have my 30,000 XRP back?": NO! I don't understand why you'd even ask that. I gave you 4 BTC 10 days ago, you've since lost it, why would you think I'd send you another 4? See here where you thanked me for our trade!

Bump! Going to bed in a few minutes, but send me a PM and I'll get back to you soon
Thank you for staying up late Chuck and for all of your help walking me through my first XRP/BTC trade. Very fair and patient, "CHUCK" rules. Weeks it has been because of technical difficulties on my part and he stuck with me, and to his guns when it came down to numbers, WIN/WIN. I look forward to more trades, along with sharing info. I say, "Great Trader!". Very nice person. MAD PROPS Thanks to Bitcoin Forum as well for hosting. Who would have thought numbers, spreadsheets, and managing/trading currencies would be so fun & oh so profitable. -Branzig. Branzig, I just wanted to quote this in case you try to delete it later... We had a good trade, but then 10 days later Branzig demanded that I send him his ripple back, because he'd lost his bitcoins! So that I'd essentially give him 4 BTC for free. What the heck!

Here is someone trying to scam people by asking them to run dumpprivkey : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=228772.msg2409058#msg2409058A feature suggestion I have: The first time you run dumpprivkey from the GUI, have it fail with a message "Do not share this key with anyone - they can take your bitcoins with this information. If you're Ok with this, type the command again". If someone really wants to use dumpprivkey, they can run the command a second time.

I'd buy a new power supply and try that.
Otherwise I'd say there could be a problem with the cards themselves, but it seems really unlikely for both to suddenly have the same problem.

i got nothing, and i was signed to the newsletters before may 9, why?
Hmmm, did you check your SPAM folder? yeah , nothing there too When you signed up, they should have replied with a confirmation email. I would forward that to one of these guys: https://ripple.com/contact/And ask what's up!

Someone left me, and many others, scam rating, and now they are offering a pay service to remove it https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=228812.msg2409094#msg2409094Remove Negative Feedback Have an unprompted scammer feedback? Most likely it is from our team.
We can remove negative feedback (delete it) for just $99.99. Ugh. Theymos said he won't remove false Marketplace feedback (unless they do 100's), but I really wish there was an exception for people like this who are super-obvious scammers.

Try removing the card from the motherboard and firmly reseating it.
tried that Are all 3 cards in the same computer (the 2 bad ones + 1 good one?)

|
|

100% of the feedback is negative yet 50% didn't check the 'scammed' box. Does that mean they gave positive feedback accidentally?

Cards that was produciing good shares a week ago does now suddenly not working anymore. (a 6870 and a 6450). I get verification errors, 'check your hardware'. Whats up with that ? My 7750 works though. Strange, yes? I am using driver 13.4 and SDK 2.5. Try removing the card from the motherboard and firmly reseating it.
