5  Economy / Economics / Re: Is now a good time to buy or should we wait until april 15th? Truth on China? on: March 30, 2014, 09:21:47 PM
Someone mentioned in a post that we are like in the eye of a hurricane. Thought that was an interesting and in a certain way accurate description.

Hold your FIAT now until everything gets clear.

BTW: I'm back!
6  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CAvirtex not processing withdrawals? on: May 15, 2013, 04:23:09 AM
Just to chime in,
Friday May 3, 2013 I put in a bank transfer to withdraw and I got it completed on the 7th. I have no idea about the management situation there but I'm going to be checking out LibertyBit since their fees are 0.5% vs starting at 3%.

I will be selling my BFL Single to Gigawave for 36.3 BTC using Kluge as escrow and shipping with UPS.

I've officially decided to clock out in mining but not giving up interest.

Currently I am open to (serious) offers for:
HIS 5850
Sapphire (I think it's an Extreme version) 5830
2x Sapphire 6950 one regular and one 'DiRT3' edition BOTH with ARCTIC Accelero Xtreme Plus II this is a 3 slot cooler and is longer than the VGA board, please keep that in mind.  Information on the cooler can be found here: http://www.arctic.ac/en/p/cooling/vga/376/accelero-xtreme-plus-ii.html
BFL Single (Rev 3) default firmware clocks around 826Mh/s however the room it's in is always kinda warm so there might be more headroom for speed.

I will be shipping from Ontario Canada so any Canadians interested?

11  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 1929 eMail addresses DB on: November 13, 2012, 11:48:34 PM
So basically you have 1929 different email addresses assuming there is at least each person owning 3 that's over 600 people.  You sure these aren't just spam bot accounts? Which in the end will mean absolutely nothing by attempting to spam it.

Usually how something like this goes down is you go whine on 4chan about it while people pretend to want to help then laugh at you.  You're taking this to a whole different level of insanity by asking for money to spam people that wronged you.  I kinda think it works the other way around.
12  Economy / Goods / Re: Buying Artorias of The Abyss DLC on PSN on: October 24, 2012, 07:19:15 PM
You might be better off finding someone who would sell a PSN $ voucher.  I'm not sure if this game has it's own personal dlc code that I've seen in some EB Games stores but it would be safe to assume that would be more obscure than just looking for a pre-paid card.
13  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: October 21, 2012, 05:23:26 PM
I'm sure people who use this got the email last night, but since it wasn't mentioned on here,

Quote
Dear User,

We regret to inform you that GPUMAX will be permanently closing on
October 31st, 2012.

While we strongly believe in Bitcoin's continued success, our vision
has always been to provide our users with the greatest opportunities
to utilize their GPU processing power. Creating a mining marketplace
was meant to be the first of many such opportunities, however, due to
the events of recent months, we feel that the best course of action is
to cease all operations.

Thank you for participating in our beta.

Regards,

The GPUMAX Team
14  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Hashpower.com - Buy and Lease Mining Shares on: October 14, 2012, 07:17:20 PM
I had gotten my invite from Graet all I did was send him a pm asking for one.  Though I do intend to use not only for Hashpower but I'm waiting a little for the Canadian market to pick up before trying it out.

So far I'm happy with the service and it's on par with Gpumax.  I don't really see the sensationalizing, alarmist talk about these services.  I've pointed my BFL Single crunching away at 800mhash/s and honestly as a miner I do not in any way shape or form care where my hashes go.  On this site you are limited to what mining pools you can set your worker to so it isn't like I'm selling off my power for some nefarious purpose.  I've mined on most of these pools at some point in the past and just switch around on a whim.  Why not bitch and complain about abcpool? Isn't that the same idea? Or what about people who purchase shares just off of the forum? Why aren't you giving gigavps shit?

Don't get me wrong, I support Bitcoin but I also go where the money is.

16  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS - Daft Punk - Tron Headphones on: October 05, 2012, 05:56:37 AM
Unfortunately I can't afford this - normally I don't care for the whole Monster/Beats thing but those headphones legitimately look bad ass.  Best of luck with your sale.
17  Economy / Securities / Re: {Bakewell} Get an equitable stake in a transparent & growing mining company on: October 02, 2012, 03:59:43 PM
I agree with Deprived's post.  I think it is in everyone's best interest ultimately in the end to only have shares that reflect the rigs we have + funding a new one.  Releasing everything at once only serves to devalue what existing holders have..
18  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BTCJam - Peer to Peer Bitcoin Lending on: October 02, 2012, 03:00:32 AM
So does the interest rate period start when something reaches 100% funding? Or does it happen after a certain date?

I'm waiting for more things to appear on here other than loans for ASICS.
19  Economy / Securities / Re: {Bakewell} Get an equitable stake in a transparent & growing mining company on: October 01, 2012, 11:50:50 PM
Thank you Usagi and Ian.  Now that this is all done I hope that this can be put to rest and we can move on now.
20  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BTCJam - Peer to Peer Bitcoin Lending on: September 25, 2012, 07:44:15 PM
I'm kinda curious about this service - interesting idea, at least something directly relating bitcoins to real life lending.

Hopefully some of the more veteran lenders can weigh in on this.
