2  Economy / Gambling / Re: Professional Roadbike Cycling on: September 25, 2022, 08:17:28 PM

The World Championship road cycling has been finished, and Evenepoel the young superstar of 22 years old has won today the Men's road race. What a dominance.
Mathieu van Der Poel however, decided to quit his race after 30 KM. due to a situation whereby two girls filled a charge, he was supposed to have pushed them, because they were disturbing his sleep during the night.

I am not a big cycling fan, but for some reason the "Tour de France" pulls me in front of the television every year... so there are definitely something that attract people to this sport. There are several categories of bicycle racing, including road bicycle racing, cyclo-cross, mountain bike racing, track cycling, BMX, and cycle speedway.

My brother just love to compete in mountain bike racing and cannot stop talking about it, so I know a lot about that and I will have someone that can give me some tips... if we can start betting on it.  Roll Eyes

Definitely, it makes us itch from the bones to see event of Tour de France each year around, what a spectical and ambiance, totally different compared to other sports.

Hi Guys,

I see there are already topics about gambling in other sports such as Soccer, football, baseball, etc.

I was wondering if there is demand for a topic, especially for Professional road cycling.

These topics we can discuss:

> Quotations and fares
> Odds and speculation.
> Rating the cyclists
> How to bet on Professional Cycling
> Assessing upcoming talent.
> Parcour knowledge.
> A historical perspective to inspire new people who would like to join.
> Talking Nostalgia
> Overall overview of the achievement and presentations of the cyclist.
> Predictions.

I would love to get in contact with you who share my interest by heart Roll Eyes Kiss

Wonderful Win by Tottenham tonight, Son has finally scored his goals, and immediately a fine hattrick, splendid!
I'm thrilled to see if they can compete against the other top tear teams and especially in the matches against Manchester City.

According to reports,Arsenal are set to step up their chase for Youri Tielemans of Leicester, and the gunners are ready to make a bid in the region of 25 million Euros for the Belgium player. He has been subject to speculation for a period of time now,and it once looked as if the gunners cooled their interest for a period of time, but now they have reignite their interest in the player and are set to lodge an official bid that will convince Leicester into selling the player. If the gunners can see this deal materialise,he will definitely be a fine addition to the Arsenal team.

That could be an interesting transfer for Arsenal, however i wondering how Leicester would accept such a low bid on Tielemans. As he has been the main spil in the midfield for them, i reckon that there are more interested clubs for Tielemans this summer with this pricetag.

Chelsea are being rumoured with PSG centre-back Kimpembe now. However I have heard that they have already reached an agreement with Napoli to sign Kalidou Koulibaly. If I'm not mistaken he is going to earn €10m per year. On one hand they are trying to sign another centre-back too as it seems. Their biggest interest is in Nathan Ake now. I don't think that PSG would let Kimpembe go so they had better focus on transferring Ake now. As he is a rotation player for Manchester City, I expect this transfer to happen.

koulibaly towards Chelsea is done deal, according to Fabrizio Romano. I guess that the interests in Ake and Kimpembe is just a trick to get the requested price-tag of Koulibaly down.

Dembele is currently a free agent, but I think Barcelona will eventually renew his contract, he is a talented players, and was able to assist 14 goals from 38 appearances last season. Although, Barcelona haven't so far talked about extending his contract. However, they made a great decision by bring Raphinha in the club. Nevertheless, Barcelona still have some players in the club, who probably don't have intentions of being in the club anymore. Players such as Samuel Umtiti and Oscar Mingueza.

I suppose with Barca and their financial situation it will be a struggle and is all about balancing the books. That's why I'm quite surprised at the big transfer outlay on Raphinha. A lot of it is also about wages for big players though, which is probably how they're doing it... for example, they off-loaded Coutinho to Aston Villa for a reduced transfer fee, but at the same time managed to remove his huge wage burden, and so free up funds for incoming transfers. Dembele is another one, it sounds like they want to keep him and he wants to stay, and if they can agree reduced wages then everyone's happy(ish). IIRC they almost managed to keep Messi with a 50% wage cut, but there was a legal obstacle that prevented such a huge % cut, even if the actual wage was still high, so he had to be sold.

Well, i reckon that Barcelona still has problems with there financial salary cap, limited and restricted by the Liga itself.

We can see it, even though Barcelona is in a financial crisis but seeing the potential for success is also not too doubtful. Barcelona still has strengths that can arise at any time, competent young players, a level of intelligence in managing the game, and now can be a turning point for Barcelona to recover. De Jong does have to consider his decision very well. I still have high hopes that next season Barcelona can show significant recovery. This is just a twist to get off to a more profitable start.
So far good things continue to be done by Barcelona to improve the situation of his team. They managed to get some new players during the transfer window and that's a good thing about how the team is struggling to get out of this crisis. They still care about the team's performance even though they are experiencing a bad financial crisis, I really appreciate the hard work of this team so far.

There are good hopes with Xavi at Barcelona and for his first season he has proven his quality and coaching ability. I hope Barcelona can be relied on this season because I believe they can do it even with the current squad.

Due to the financial situation of Barcelona, we would assume with all the transfers that Real Madrid is in a financial crisis, not Barcelona...

Still no agreement for De Ligt between Juve and Bayern. They are way apart in their valuation but will continue with their negotiations.
Juventus F.C. wants Matthijs de Ligt to leave the club to the highest bidder. Chelsea are desperate to get is service because of their defense challenges haven lost many key players. But de Ligt want to move to  FC Bayern Munich because he feels the Bundesliga would suit him more than the English Premier league. Chelsea has the financial strength to land the player but Bayern wants Juventus to bring down the price of the player which is quit unlikely. Chelsea is just unlucky this season because most players are practically avoiding them.

Isn't Real Madrid in a position to buy De Ligt, that might be an interesting prospect, especially because of his age.

~snip~
That should be their goal for the champion, but realistically speaking, even the quarter-finals can be a good goal in my opinion because their opponents are too strong in this league. As for the Premier League, I think the Spurs team has the potential to be better than teams like Chelsea and Arsenal this season. Spursta, as there will be important player changes in the new season. Tottenham did not include Tanguy Ndombele in the camp because he did not think about it in the new season. The team is basically strong, they can push their targets with a few improvements.

I honestly think that Tottenham is going to be much stronger than Chelsea and Arsenal in the upcoming season. They have made some pretty big changes in the team. I really like that change, and many others do as well. It appears that the team is really balanced going into the next season. It is my prediction that they will at least reach the semi-finals of the Champions League and do decently in the English Premier League as well.

I'm quite optimistic to see the significant changes shown by the Spurs at this time, judging from the hunt for players they really really use it quite perfectly. So at least occupying one seat for the Champions League is quite wide open than Manchester United and Arsenal. Spurs are very enthusiastic and the compatibility between players and coaches is now starting to look more intimate.

You know what? I think this will probably be the time when Harry Kane will finally be able to win something with Tottenham. An authority is looking for a flawless team. I am not willing to say that they have succeeded 100% in that mission but they have certainly done well enough to raise big hopes. Next season, Manchester City should be the champion again and Liverpool and Tottenham should be fighting it out for the second place.

That would be utmost great! Conte has done an amazing job throughout the year, Tottenham has stepped up it's game. Can't wait to see what can be done next season, hopefully with more players to come, especially increasing quality on the back/wingers position.

There are excellent transfer news in the world football market; Haaland, Mane, Matic, Pogba, Nunez, Bissouma, Tchouameni and others... They're all great and sensational football player transfers, but one of them really catches my attention.
Yes, there is some interesting transfers and we are just in the beginning of this summer transfer period.
I still want to see how CR7 and Lewandowski future club will be! They will move or stay and whether there will be a late period transfer surprises, from Messi for example.

Do you think Ronaldo would leave then? Of course without a doubt he is competitive and would like to play for prices asap, however that's not possible and no team will give him the chance unfortunately.

I said before that Tottenham don't need any striker now due to having Son and Kane. But I see now that they look determined to sign a striker these days. They are after Lautaro Martinez and Gabriel Jesus now and they are aiming to sign one of them. Both of these players would be great choices of course but I don't see their chance as high for Martinez especially. Maybe they can sign Gabriel Jesus but Chelsea and Arsenal are also in this race. I started feeling like they won't be able to get any of them.
I think Conte is very aware of Tottenham weaknesses this season so now they are trying to find a new striker, if you look at last season, Kane was one of the strikers who scored a lot of goals but this season Kane performance has decreased enough so we can say this season Kane is late hot in terms of scoring goals, but fortunately they still have Son who can replace Kane role in scoring goals so as to make Tottenham able to lock into the top 4, that's why I think Conte now needs other striker to anticipate if Kane or Son is injured or absent later, Moreover, next season Tottenham have a busy schedule and Conte will certainly rotate players in every match they will do in both the domestic league and champions league.

True, it will be for sure a dying interesting season to see how Tottenham can cope with the pressure of being in the Champions league while keeping up the performance in the league. I'm thrilled to see of Tottenham would be able to pick up Bremer from Torino, he is a wonderful prospect who would be compatible and well-linked up with Romero.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2022 is the time to buy or sell? on: June 20, 2022, 09:38:52 PM
The fact that crypto market is very unpredictable, you can't set a year to buy or sell your crypto.

As an investor, you have to follow the simple principle, which is to buy at dip, and sell at peak. Now, if you have enough knowledge and you learn from your experience, you can always spot the right opportunity to initiate it and you'll also make sure that you'll end up profitable.

Hi, What is the reason that the current course of the Bitcoin is so low, compared to what it was a couple months ago?
