This is a prime example of why you should always own your own keys.

sidenote, the phore > graphene airdrop wont require you to reveal private keys, it's going to be done with a signed message, so I don't think exchanges will be compromised.
If you store your PHORE on exchanges, they own private key of your PHORE address, not you. If they don't support and claim the airdrop for you, you can not have Graphene from PHORE you own.

You never know that exchange uses private keys for PHORE addresses of customers to claim Graphene for their selfish interests or not. Never know that. They will play innocent and negate any accusations on them.

It's always the easiest way, own your own keys.
The exchanges wallets are generally easy to trace though so should be relatively simple to remove them from the airdrop.
3  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you trust the co-vid19 vaccine ? on: March 26, 2021, 11:13:10 AM
If that's the issues I wonder why nothing happens to the US president and other people we saw on TV took the vaccine or there's something more to the vaccine they took and the one give out to the masses cause the government can be weird sometimes which is the reason why I don't totally trust them.
Note that the efficiency of the vaccines not all of them are 100% but at least they can be effective in most of the people. But there's those cases that it's not effective in some.
I've even heard in the news that even after taking the vaccine, they were still able to get covid19 despite being vaccinated.

they dont have complete protection from getting the virus but even in the cases that a vaccinated individual gets the virus they're likely to be extremely better off.

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin hit 1 trillion dollars marketcap on: March 24, 2021, 11:47:26 AM
Obviously $1 trillion is a very important milestone. But this should not be our final target. If gold can have a market cap of $11 trillion, then I believe that Bitcoin deserves a market capitalization of much more than $1 trillion. Forget about gold. Even silver is currently having a market cap of $1.45 trillion, which is around 40% higher than that of Bitcoin. So our immediate target should be to overtake silver in terms of market cap.

Bitcoint could have much higher utility than gold too, every day use being one.

The ease of transfer gives it a huge advantage over gold so seeing bitcoin overtake gold in terms of MC wouldn't be overly surprising.

I love snooker, most wouldn't consider it a sport.

..."it's a pub game, not a sport" is something you'll hear a lot where I'm from

It shouldnt be difficult to remove the wallets and they could always be retroactively re-added if the reason theyre not participating is an infrastructure issue.
9  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is skipping meal a bad habit? on: March 24, 2021, 11:39:34 AM
I think skipping breakfast and "its the most important meal of the day" is a complete myth.

If you dig a little deeper you find that people that skip breakfast are often more productive earlier in the day and reportedly sharper too.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BUSD Vs. USDT on: March 23, 2021, 01:47:46 PM
Is USDT still not 100% backed? This has to be worrying.

My personal preference is Binance I feel much safer going with an organisation I trust.

this may be my stupidity. because I participated in phore signature campaign and indirectly I participated in GFN airdrOp campaign.
Will GFN holders only be airdrop participants and developers?
or is it known how much the supply of GFN tokens in the binance smart chain will be before the launch of the Graphene chain itself?
or, GFN has an unlimited supply that everyone can mine later?

please don't laugh, I am a fool in reading. but I've been looking for some information and haven't got it yet.

The total supply of the $GFN Graphene token will be 10 times that of Phore, in fact for those who participate in all 6 snapshoots you will receive 10 $GFN for each $PHR.
This is in theory, many people may not make the $GFN token claim and then the final supply will be communicated later.

It will be slightly less than 10x PHR because undoubtedly some will not be claimed and some exchanges will be purged from the list

Yes it's all about context, if youre doing it to punish yourself that is obviously bad.

I do believe you can do it to test your self though, it can be great for discipline I also believe it generally has many health benefits and I don't belive our ancestors worried too much about their 3 meals/day

The only tokens airdropped will be redeamable by PHR holders.

Once the mainnet is launched Graphene blockchain will be PoS so you will be able to stake your coins and there will be validator nodes (an interation of masternodes)

~
BSC is good or best for this time but in months or few years to come, I am not sure. Crypto changes very fast as lightning speed.
yes, we won't know what will happen in the future. but as many people know, currently in my opinion the BSC is the most popular followed by many people.

me, we have no problem for GFN with binance smart chains. this is a good start in my opinion. market support is definitely good. while for availability in other chains in my opinion it should be gradual. now the team has to focus on their development.

The team said they're quietly optimistic that the Graphene blockchain will be live this year, so we only need to be concerned about the imediate future. I think BSC is the perfect platform, especial with all the attention it is currently getting.

Would love to have a poll here... something like...

Have you vaccinated for COVID-19?
  • Yes
  • No - I can’t trust vaccine yet
  • No - Corona Virus is a Scam
  • I’m confused  Huh Huh Huh
I've already said it to myself that I won't take the vaccine, its efficacy isn't that much but helpful for those who need it and that means that I don't need it because I don't go usually outdoors.

But I believe that covid-19 is real.

Do you not think even if you wouldn't likely suffer too much from Covid that the decrease in spread and thus the decrease in mutations of the virus awarded by the vaccine is worth taking it alone?

Vitamin D Insufficiency May Account for Almost Nine of Ten COVID-19 Deaths: Time to Act.

Soda lowers Vitamin D and chances of dying from COVID increases.

Thanks for these sources, wish I had some merit to give you.

This is stuff everybody needs to read, I'm sure 9/10 is an exeggeration.

But it's definitely a high number.

Although as I'm thinking and typing I can only imagine a lot of old people have Vit D difficiency due to absorbtion and also spending a lot of time in the house. I made my nan take some at the start of the pandemic, thankfully she's vaccinated now but I like to think I helped her! Smiley

Graphene hasnt been airdropped yet only a snapshot of the blockchain has been taken in order to determain supply.

If you are scared of negative effects from taking 50,000 units of vitamin-D, flesh it out a bit by taking more than a gram each of fish oil and flax seed oil, along with the vitamin D. However, people are all different. So test.

Cool

I've known doctors admisister 50k sometimes, as a one of dose. Im only on 5ks
20  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is skipping meal a bad habit? on: March 16, 2021, 07:27:24 PM
Researchers say we should as much as possible avoid skipping meals especially breakfast, this is because food is an essential requirement for the bsody to produce energy needed for work. Skipping meals is a bad habit that if not checked, can cause stomach ulcer.

I believe fasting or skipping meal works well for certain people. I try not to do it for too long though.. I sometimes feed on only very light healthy natural foods like really good oil/fat, fruits, vegetables,, herbs/tea, lots of warm water etc while fasting. I actually recommend the latter for those who are worried about skipping meal. It feels like your body produces gentle blue flame while using those kind of foods
I think a lot of doctors are not actually trained in nutrition and a lot of nutritionists were trained many years ago, anecdotes dont equal science but when you have thousands of succcess stories you have to start thinking that perhaps theres something to it.

Ofcourse.
I think doctors should have basic knowledge on foods and nutrition. I usually wonder why they don't recommend healthy foods to their patients and I did assume some probably want their customers to get sick often so they don't lose them.
Healthy foods and eating them properly can actually solve lots of the health problems people spend alot of money to treat in hospitals

Especially in countries with privatised health, it seems there's a very obvious conflict of interest...
