1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Modified GPU BIOS for Mining on: February 28, 2021, 12:43:41 AM
Hi there!

I'm not a really advanced user on BIOS modding even thou I tried and failed 3 times to edit the original bios is my XFX GTS RX 580 8gb XXX (Samsung memories) to a good performance mining BIOS.
The original only makes 27Mh/s and I'm not being capable of doing a good work on this matter. I wouldn't mind to pay $10 for a modded bios to 31mh/s but I don't trust the sites appearing on Google in bunches.

Can someone please help me and post a modded BIOS for good mining performance? I would be glad to give a contribution for it.

The original bios is downloadable on the following link:
https://we.tl/t-MOH6ZjrtJk

Many thanks in advance

They're Samsung memories, as mentioned in OP.
Samsung K4G80325FC · 113-58085SSD2-W90
I use HiveOS on my rigs so, no access to wattman and Afterburner, but on HiveOS we can also edit memory timings. The thing is that I'm not experienced enough to make it right.

6  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAMMER: ParleFrance scammed me on: December 20, 2020, 01:20:54 PM
Thanks everyone for understanding and supporting my flag.
Yes, I was really naive and didn't take the safety precautions that were due. The fact that I'm a newbie here also doesn't helped on tracking and checking the scammer profile.
Yes, it's true that can't absolutely prove that this user scammed me, probably it wasn't the first time he made it (and won't be the last) as he has a clear strategy so he deletes every evidence of the scam when discovered.
Also, I'm a started, it would be my first miner and that enthusiasm led me to lower security mesures before making the deal.
I'm a long time user of many forums, my username can be searched and found in many many sites, "Gyzdark" it's always myself, from pornhub, to bitcointalk, to LoL, to Steam.... everywhere. I have an 13-to-0 good feedback on a Portuguese technology forum (ZWAME) for buys and sales and a couple more in other technology forum. I exist, I am and I will be here, always the same person. Who is this "ParleFrenc" user? He is a nobody, he wont even tell me where he will ship the good from, just said "Europe, dont worry". He will say "Isn't anonymity the whole purpose of bitcoin, why are you asking for information, to track me down?" has he said in our chat. But, no, anonymity isn't the whole purpose, the purpose is a decentralized, self regulated market, anonymity is just one of the good features that comes with it all. Unfortunately it is also a birthplace for scammers and faceless slugs whiling to sell his own mother for a couple dollars like @ParleFrenc is, that has to live with his face under the dirt because he is just too horrendous human being to be himself on the internet.

Thanks everyone on this forum, keep up the good work. Fortunately was the 2nd time I got scammed (1st one I bought a GPU, it was malfunctioning and managed to repair it) it was another lesson for me.
It's nice to know you have a detection system for multi-acount scammers like this one, will pay more attention in the future.
Thank you and sorry for bother.
I'll stay here, on this forum for a while whiling to learns and also help when I can so, we'll see ourselves!
7  Economy / Scam Accusations / SCAMMER: ParleFrance scammed me on: November 30, 2020, 09:58:30 PM
What happened::
The deal was that I would buy him 4 ASIC miner Aisen A1 in 2 phases: first I buy 1 unit and if the deal goes right, I will then buy him 3 more units.
I paid for 1 Aisen A1 miner+PSU+shipment €180 in bitcoin and it was supposed that he sent me the product the next day.
The next day he said that his business partner made a mistake and that he sent me the 4 units all together. He said that the units are on it's way to my address but, he has the shipment on hold.
He said that if I want to complete the deal I would have to pay him the rest of the money.
I asked him for the slightest proof of the shipment. He refused to send me any proof, absolutely no proof at all. He wanted me to send him €400 more, no other options.
I told him that I would pay him as soon as the product arrived. he refused.
I told him to get the package back and complete the deal we made. He refused.
I asked him several times to give me any proof that he has the product or any product at all, any kind of proof of shipment. He refused.
All the deal was made on Telegram. In the end we obviously ended namecalling each other. Basically i told him: "If you have some decency fulfill the deal we made. I paid for 1 unit, you send 1 unit. If you don't want to fullfil the deal, give me the money back or whatever is left of it to this address *my-bitcoin-wallet-address*. If you're a scammer do nothing.
HE said that he will make a video of him burning my money and then proceeded to delete the hole Telegram conversation.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / XRP - Ripple futuristics and speculation on: November 28, 2020, 02:39:59 PM
One of the assets I believe will grow much further in a near future is the Ripple ( XRP ). Its value increased by 300% Inthe last 2 weeks ( from near $0.25 to near $0.75).
This is a total guess and unfundamented sentence but, I think that next year it will be above $1 during the 1st quarter of the year and over $10 in 2021 if it keeps its bully attitude.

What are your thoughts about Ripple and your grades on other altcoins that you think will have an enormous growth (above 100%) during next year?

Thanks in advance for your opinion.
9  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] ASIC miners shipped from EU on: November 26, 2020, 09:17:09 PM
Hello!
I'm interested in buying ASIC Sha256 miners (14Th to 25Th) shipped from EU to Portugal.

Fully functional only, with or without PSU.
Please PM-me your offer.

I don't care if they're not profitable, they can consume as much electricity, I means like ASIC A1 miner (24Th @ 2200W).
I'm aiming for Aisen (Aixen??) A1 or Antminer S11 but any brand will do the job.
I want non profitable miners as they're cheaper.

Your dm is locked

the "newbie" thing? Already unlocked it but seems like not working thou.

13  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Miners for sale PSU included - 50 x S9 - $149 ea, 59 x L3+ - $99 ea., 35 x D3$45 on: November 25, 2020, 10:55:04 AM
Equipment in storage at Samskip Hf in Reykjavik, Iceland.

List of equipment

Antminer S9 - $149 x 50
Antminer L3+ - $99 x 59
Antminer D3 - $45 x 35

All equipment includes the power supply (PSU) which is sold separately by the manufacturer.

All equipment was purchased in 2017 and used for a period of 1 year. It was then taken offline and put at Samskip and has been in storage since.

You can purchase individual units or in bulk. You can also purchase units without the power supply.

The Icelandic corporation that imported these items to Iceland is also for sale. PM for more info on that.
Are you shipping to Portugal?
If you do, I'm interested in buying you one Antminer S9.
Please PM-me
14  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Miner EU online stores on: November 25, 2020, 10:44:27 AM
Thanks to the mod that moved the topic and sorry for posting it on the wrong thread.

The only way I see to get what I want is to buy an Antminer S9 on Amazon, unfortunately.
I was aiming for an Antminer S11 (20Th) or a Chinese Aisen (or Aiden) A1 (24Th) for less than €400. Just because they eat up a lot of power and therefore aren't profitable.

The miner hardware market on EU seems really short, is it because of electricity costs? There are really few options here...
15  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Miner EU online stores on: November 23, 2020, 05:43:45 PM
It has only Avalon miner and Antminer S9 on bulk and sent from China with transportation on our responsibility and cost...

Thanks anyway, will keep looking forward.
Any more suggestions?
16  Economy / Service Discussion / Miner EU online stores on: November 23, 2020, 03:16:25 PM
Hello everyone and thank you for reading.

I need to buy a miner, a cheap and non profitable ASIC sha265 miner that makes 20TH. For its purpose power consumption is irrelevant.

What are the reliable European online stores that I can trust and find what I need?

Thanks in advance for your reply.
