I would like to see Brady win it all, that would literally make the Patriots Org look pretty bad...

With Ravens out I'm hoping for Bills vs Bucs... that should make Belichick and Patriots fans smash their TVs.

This would be absolutely hilarious.  I'm still not sure who I'm pulling for, I really don't despise any of these teams.  Brady winning it all would be the icing on the cake though.

That was brutal, Brees was not right all game - not sure what was going on with that.

Thoughts on TB/NO game?  I got NO -0.5 FH, NO FG -3 (+110), FG over 53, NO ML Double amount of other single bets (-132).
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: January 17, 2021, 09:28:02 PM
I had Chiefs -6 FH, Chiefs -8 FG, FH Under 28.5, FG over 55.5.  Will probably split 2-2. Smiley
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many coins/tokens do you think will survive in 2021? on: January 15, 2021, 09:47:46 PM
every month are dozens of tokens/coins that die or appear...
I have noticed that the number of tokens/coins on the market has continued to increase since 2016 and has not decreased at all. This year the number of cryptocurrencies will definitely increase a little.

This is going to be the issue, as old ones die there will be 3x more created.  It's going to be the most insane ponzi scheme you have ever seen because of the current economic times.  People really need to be careful.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 15, 2021, 06:45:54 PM
I hate going totals with the 76ers, glad my bet is done with - had them FH -5.5.  I run into the same issue with the Celtics and totals.
What's wrong with the 76ers totat? Sometimes they scored low, sometimes they scored high.

That's the norms of the game it's very unpredictable, and I'm telling you, even if you use some statistics, it will still not guarantee anything.

Oh I agree, but there is a reason I don't bet random totals on certain teams.  Number one, they get a big lead and then sit the stars in the fourth.  If I'm looking totals, I'm looking for more competitive games.  Prime example, Gonzaga mens NCCAB.  Last year, I banked on FH total and FG totals over - books never really caught up.  This year, have only bet Gonzaga twice to the over.  The trend is your friend is an accurate statement, better statement is the trend is your friend until the books adjust.

8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [CHALLENGE] Can I go from $100 to $80000 in 2021 (+80000% Growth) ?! 😲 on: January 14, 2021, 04:28:17 PM
My only fear during times like this, or maybe fear is a bad word - maybe intrigue, is that with the volatility I am actively managing trades with the wild swings.  You could miss out on a lot of profit if you are closing trades out too early.  Same thing applies to option traders in the stock market.  Let the wins keep running and wait until their are cooling off and setting some type of daily support before exiting.  But too each their own.

Good Luck.  I will definitely be following and subscribing on youtube.

I totally get your fear/intrigue, but I've tried a lot of different strategies over my 4-5 years of day trading, and this is what have worked best for me. I will explain the math behind this decision in future videos as well. Let me ask you, did you watch the video?

All the best,
Joel

Yes, I watched the video and subscribed.  Very interested in watching the process as I have done something similar with options market in the US several times and was successful.  I understand the 2% and not wanting to have to continuously managing the trade throughout the day, but I would still monitor at some point especially in a defined bull/bear market.  I am thinking of doing something similar, but have never traded crypto in a specific day trading model.  I have always been long term or swing trade with crypto.  I just know it will be highly unlikely that I am going to be shorting any crypto during a bull market, recipe for getting annihilated.

Nets lost their mind on this because they are chasing a championship, they forget that those three players are gonna have a hard time adjusting, they are all want to have their ball in hand, that's sometimes the issue with star players they don't want to outlast because they need attention, if the two of them won't adjust and give in to one star player I'll bet this its gonna be the worse big three ever especially Irving want to be the guy same with durant.

We will know this after 5 games those three playings together as a starter. But with Kyrie Irving's absence, I think we won't see those three playings together anytime soon. But if James Harden will change his play after him being traded to Brooklyn, this team has some potential to be a top contender in the playoffs.

If I was the Nets, I would play heavy load management to ensure that they are hardly ever on the court together.  Set them 3 feet apart from each other.  That way it might work out.

Yeah but come playoff time you aren't going to sit Durant 20 minutes a game just so he isn't on the court with Harden or kyrie.  In season yeah they can load manage but then in the playoffs what?they should ease through most of the east anyway.  But this seems patchwork at best.  Only saving grace is Durant is so dam good.  He can make it work by himself

Thats exactly what I meant, load manage the hell out of this team in the regular season - play into Kyrie's and Harden's ego, they are gullible enough to fall for it.  That way you can at least make it to the playoffs with hopefully no major drama.  You just pray that they are so focused in the playoff that its too short of a time period to completely implode.  I think it will either work, or be another epic fail.

As a Lakers fan, love the fact Harden went to the Nets.  They are done now, implode in the first round.
They are almost at the bottom, I'm hoping Rockets would still survive even if Harden will be traded with the Nets. This would make the Nets are more better team but I don't think it will make the Rockets sink. Rockets have John Wall and they won without Harden, so we can still rely on this team, at least no expectation but they might surprise us.

Even if no harden in their line up still the players they got is strong and the only thing the coaching staff do now is to create a chemistry since by now there's no toxicity will happen in their locker room if harden will successfully departed on nets. I wonder how nets deal with kyrie and harden while we know this two stars are so childish  Cheesy.

Completely agree, that's why they are going to implode every year.  I mean it could work if the attitudes are right, but with Kyrie and Harden - you might as well forget it.  I have followed Durant since he was in college, great player - but not the leader that can keep these two in check.  It's just a recipe for disaster.  I wonder if any of the books are going to put up odds on which player from the Nets are going to get traded first - Kyrie -200, Harden -120, Durant +200?
12  Economy / Economics / Re: The recent rise in prices, temporary or more long term? on: January 13, 2021, 11:31:30 PM
It's going to be a year of violent swings in both directions.  I think traders are either going to get smart or get hammered, no middle ground.  The best case for non active traders are going to be either cost dollar average or to buy on extreme dips.  I am waiting for a true decoupling of US Market/BTC and the US Market/GLD&SLV.  People said this happened 12-18 months ago, but that is not true - there was not a definitive decoupling.  Once we see this, traders will be able to better gage the direction.

14  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you trust the co-vid19 vaccine ? on: January 13, 2021, 09:56:13 PM
The funny thing is the same doctor called my kids pediatrician and said his kids won't be taking the vaccine either.  I'm not saying I believe either way, but I'm not one that's just going to throw caution to wind.  Our scientific research and ability to identify problems didn't all of a sudden drop from 3-5 years, or whatever it is, to oh boy now we can make sure something is safe in six months.  Use common sense.
15  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Pfizer plans to include microchips in vaccine?? on: January 13, 2021, 08:44:03 PM
Conspiracy theories are only theories until they actually happen, which has been proven many times.  Anyone that blindly follows anyone or anyone's opinion, deserves the outcome they get in the end.  One of the biggest issues is people are arguing about government involvement in the vaccine and the supposed chip to track, which is bs and here is why.

They already track you.  Do you have a debit or credit card?  Do you have a smart phone?  Do you have a computer that has a camera installed and are connected to the internet?  Do you have some type of GPS in your car?  Do you have a home security system?

People need to stop wit the chip in the vaccine, the government doesn't need to do it.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Chainlink (LINK) a good investment? on: January 13, 2021, 07:56:52 PM
I like LINK and bought more when it dropped to around 13ish.  I think the biggest move is going to come mid-year to the end of the year.  ALTs are not going to hard move until 1-2 months after the last move of BTC, my thoughts are thats going to happen somewhere between beginning of September 2021-End of October 2021 for BTC.
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can quantum technology crack the secret key in the future? on: January 13, 2021, 07:38:43 PM
Yes and no. Quantum computing is very useful for integer factorization with Shor's algorithm and offers an advantage for asymmetric algorithms to be cracked. This means that any pre-existing technology that uses public key cryptography, such as RSA and ECDSA are susceptible to such attacks. Is it more profitable for governments (presumably because they will have the budget required to operate one) to break TLS encryption or Bitcoin public keys? As of now, we're still quite a few years away from quantum computers with sufficient qubit to be able to crack asymmetric algorithms.

On the other hand, Grover's algorithm offers a quadratic speed up for symmetric algorithms. If your encryption cipher has a large enough key size, you're safe.

The problem is they are going to break it down, I'm sure you understand this - but others might not.  The real question is whether they are going to be able to use partial searches/partitions in order to run the algo faster.  If they can create the correct local iteration in order to speed up the process, it might work.  The next part of the problem is whether to grid up the local partitions in order to create a more complex algo that cane be increased by "n" speed as it is increased by 1 partition.  Who knows, haven't researched it in a while.

The one's I have a stake in through end of the year are as follows (not any specific order):

ETH (Long term hold, may trade out somewhere between Oct 2021-Feb 2022 - it will reset somewhere).
EGLD
SOL
ADA (Long term hold, should do well in 2021)
BAT
SAND
BAND
VET
ATOM

I get it, people have to learn but the best way to show them is to provide them the application of a specific cryptocurrency.  The worst thing possible is just to let anyone go in blind during such a chaotic time, even worse would be to show them leverage.  It's probably best to tell them if you are going to use any trading platform and think of leverage, you will see me come at you like a catholic school teacher with a metal ruler.
20  Other / Off-topic / Re: Conor McGregor on: January 13, 2021, 06:44:09 PM
I know that money won't get Khabib out of retirement - he doesn't need it.  Let Connor start running his mouth, win a few fights, get the title - Khabib will come out at that point just to ensure that Connor doesn't have the title, then probably retire again.
