1  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 1mW Bitcoin/Scrypt Mine Liquidation! Everything must go! on: February 10, 2015, 07:14:24 PM
Any chance you guys have some Raspberry Pi's you're looking to liquidate?

We have less than 12 rPIs and i'll probably keep those to fiddle with at home. We were using x86 devices (the gigabytes and intel unit) under a network (PXE) booted environment to run our mining software.

what mining software are you running?

could you add an api to return the percentage of what pool is mining?

I have a multimeter but I'm a noob, how do I test the volts on the meanwell?

I see where to adjust it but I keep adjusting it with no change

I can confirm that the $45 5V 60A power supply works with this hub.

It's late here, so pics tomorrow!

2. I got this Meanwell 5V 350W supply:

The price varies all over the place, and there are many similar supplies on ebay available out of China. They all look about the same, but getting one from a reputable company for only $45 was pretty nice.

How many rails does this have?

Also any recommendations as to which one would work best with this hub? Looking to run NF2's

I am getting a ATX LED ringed power cable mass produced, like the one Goodney shows how to make, so that everyone can use the LED power switchers. They are really cheap. I got 60A 5V one for $40 usd.
...

I'm interested to purchase both the new cable and hub when they are in stock.

BTW this is the correct power supply, yes?

Well I've had some luck with CGMiner HEXu, I don't have the latest update yet but it sees the devices and runs then at 1/2 speed.

I think HIDAPI is the problem, thanks for all the help and will continue to post if anything changes

Where does the naming convention come from?

77-hidraw.rules

I've seen some variations, Thanks
