Hi guys!

I am looking for somebody to be constantly buying GRS and providing buy support using the money mined with other X11, X13, etc coins. Multipool earns BTC and there should be a person who can devote some of his time to the poloniex echange price, trend, set buy orders, etc.
Quite poosibly, influence the GRS/BTC exchange rate.

Please let me know if you are interested.

PS: boostpool.com will be closed tomorrow.

Thanks

Hi guys!

You might have noticed that boostpool.com became not very profitable a few weeks ago.
I was hoping that the situation would improve, but it does not.
What's worse, is that one of the coins that boostpool is mining is hardforking on the 8th of December and reducing block reward.

boostpool can only mine groestl based coins, and there are not many of those to choose from.
So now it is more profitable to mine groestlcoin directly.

With this in mind, we came to a decision to close boostpool.com from the 8th of December.

Groestl miners: we're working on creating a similar multipool with groestlcoin payouts based on other multipool technology. You'll be adviced once we have it working. The expectation is that it will give you more GRS and use less power on your videocards.

BTC miners: please see poolpicker.eu for comparison of multipools.

Note: if you are interested in constantly buying GRS for payouts on the new groestlcoin multipool, please contact me. We're looking for a person who will regularly buy GRS on the mined BTC. You need to spend about 15 minutes of your time on this every day.

Thank you all for your business!

Congratulations to DigiByte community on finally coming up with the 3.0.3 update and fixing algorithm difficulty spikes (the ones I wrote to you about many months ago) and on other developments! We are really happy for you!

And congrats on the price increase. Finally. 11 satoshi was too low to my liking...

Groestlcoin community...

Some good news for you as well...

Boostpool is increasing PPS from 800 to 1000 since tomorrow.

GRS payouts will be processed as soon as Poloniex is back online. https://twitter.com/Poloniex

Update: GRS payouts have been paid out.

Hi guys!

It is difficult times for all altcoins now.
Of course I want you to mine on my pool, but I don't want to fool you either.
Check profitability of mining on this pool and make your own decisions.

PS: You can mine with your BTC address if you want. Payouts are about 0.001 BTC / MHS. Used to be 0.002 just a few days ago...

Thanks

BTC payouts will be delayed for a couple of hours (my MacBook has broken down and I'm downloading BTC blockchain onto another PC). Sorry for inconvenience.

Update: all BTC payouts have been sent

Hi,

Do you still believe in GRS ? Tongue
I'm not really confident...

See you

No worries. Thank you for your contribution. Good luck.

Stay away from MintPal.

I cancelled a 0.3 BTC order and the cancelled BTC did not return to my account. Created a ticket 3 days ago, no reply.
Checked today, could see my 0.3 BTC. Requested withdrawal to poloniex. Got withdrawal confirmation email in about 30 minutes. Confirmed. Checked mintpal again and see this:

Now mintpal even does not show these 0.3BTC in my balance. WTF?

PS: As per my tweet, I'm now only dealing with GRS on poloniex now.

Thanks

When I download the miner the bat file did not work thinking it was because there was no sgminer.exe i put one in the directory but when i did that the miner opened it was rejecting everything 100% why is this happening and why is there no exe in there in the first place?

Hi!

I just downloaded https://github.com/BoostPool/boost-sgminer/releases/download/1.5.0/boost-sgminer1_5_0.zip and there is sgminer.exe in there (1,155,086 bytes).

As for why you have 100% rejects - I'm not sure. Where did you get the sgminer.exe from?

Try re-downloading. Perhaps your antivirus is falsely detecting a problem and putting .exe into quarantine or something like that.

If this does not help - post screenshot of your sgminer and your bat file either here or PM me.

Thanks

Hi,

I didn't catch your twit... why do you request GRS coins for payouts if we mine GRS and that 3.5% are for GRS purpose ?!

Thx

Hi!

No, we are not mining GRS. We are mining other coins, exchanging them for BTC, then exchanging BTC into GRS and then doing the payouts.

This creates upward trend on the price, because the daily payouts for boostpool are about 50,000 GRS. While total volume of all mined GRS per day is 24*60*21.7186 = 31274.784.

Also, this makes GRS one of the most profitable coins to mine.

Thanks
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] BoostPool.com - Optimized AMD GPU multipool - Groestlcoin payouts on: October 01, 2014, 01:13:36 AM
on groestl difficulty decreased, it is time to increase the payout!

Please try mining groestl directly at groestlcoin.biz. It is 0% fee.
One R9 290 there should give you approximately 600 GRS per day. See stats here: http://groestlcoin.biz/workers (counting R9 290 = 25 MHS)
On this pool, one R9 290 will give you about 750 GRS.

PS: Diff decreased because some miners did not move from cryptohunger.com when I disconnected it recently.

Thanks

2 more days and then I'm switching off the server. Your miner will become idle! Please see above. Thanks

Yes. They both point to the same physical machine anyways.

I'm afraid that more than a half of miners don't have backup pool specified. Please set it up.

If you are using grs-sgminer 1.4:
--failover-only -o stratum+tcp://optimizedpool.com:3333 -u YOURGRSWALLET -p your@email.com

If you are using boost-sgminer 1.5:
--failover-only -o stratum+tcp://ny1.boostpool.com:3333 -u YOURGRSWALLET -p your@email.com

Having backup server specified is really important for uninterrupted mining.

Thanks

HR, really?
Is this all you got? Cyber bullying like in high school? Are you a teenager?
I think your other idea with hacking my pool server was a lot more interesting.

Did you even know that I'm Russian? So you should email straight to president Putin the next time.

Why do you even think that I'm an enemy of DGB? On the contrary - I want DGB to be good and stable. It's good for my multipool miners. Also, why would I try to lower your price? So that my earnings are lower?
My pool earns less than 3 million DGB per day. That is about 0.6 BTC. That's so small compared to daily DGB exchange volume!

Devs, I really think you should focus on DGB more, rather than checking if I bought AntMiners or not. And BTW, I paid for them even before your switched to multi algo.

I really feel that you need to fix the difficulty spiking. You owe it to your supporters.
If you are using average difficulty of last 5 blcoks, then (10+10+10+10+9960) / 5 gives you 2000 average difficulty.
And you profitability graph looks like this:

(notice how DGB is much more profitable than MYR or SFR)

Thanks

I really really want to get GRS back to top 100.

Please stop dumping on me.

I don't have unlimited amount of BTC unfortunately (see image below) and already have too many GRS (see image).

Let's get the price to 500 at least and hopefully then there will be more buyers.

Please!

Hi guys!

I am trying to get GRS back into Top100 coin market cap and drive price into 700-1000 satoshi.
This will help us get more supporters, more exposure and stabilise the price.

I can do that if the amount of GRS sold is not huge.

But so far, looks like there are a lot of people willing to sell for 320-350 satoshi. And selling large volumes - 50,000+. That's more than the total volume of all GRS coins mined in a single day!
About a week ago 700,000 GRS was dumped in 1 day for 400 and 350 satoshi, which stopped the GRS price raising process for some time.

Whenever I bring another 0.5 BTC to Mintpal, it is eaten quickly and GRS price gets back.

So, if you want to sell large volumes (50,000 GRS+) of GRS right now - could you please PM me.
We can perhaps come to a particular timing and/or price.

Dumping big GRS on me out of the blue is not good for me, for GRS community and probably even for you.

For example, I want to set up a large wall at about 350 level. But am a bit freaking out after that 700,000 dumped in a matter of hours.
If you want to sell even a million - no problem, let's just agree on time/price.

Once GRS is back on its feet with really strong exchange volume, all of this will not be necessary, of course.

Thank you!

Hi all!

cryptohunger.com will be closing on 31 September.

If you have AMD hardware (especially the new cards, like 7950, R9 280X, R9 290), please join BoostPool.com. Details: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=770959
The payouts are about 50% more in GRS than you're currently getting and on top of it, 3.5% of all GRS earnings is sent to Groestlcoin community for funding projects.
This pool is raising the GRS price up by buying GRS instead of selling it.

Also there is a 0% fee pool at http://groestlcoin.biz. Current hashrate is 300 MH/s.
This pool is running a custom NOMP software and is very robust and fast. I also added custom code for "paid today", "paid yesterday" and "paid 2 days ago" in http://groestlcoin.biz/workers. So there is some statistics (not as advance as other pools, I take it, but still).

groestlcoin.biz also has x11 multipool (currently in beta and no fee, later 2%: 1% exchange fee and 1% donation to GRS foundation).

If not interested in any of these options - please check some third party pools.
Pool operators - please advertise here to get the new miners.

Thanks

Hi,

We can see PPS is decreasing everyday, can you provide the amount given to GRS fundation ?
Will it continue to decrease if GRS doesn't increase ?

Must be a good deal for you! ^^

Regards

Amount donated to GRS foundation is 3.5% of total coins paid out to all GRS miners. It is paid every day. Ask Jackie. Or check blockexplorer.

For example, the total amount of GRS paid out yesteray was 54231.17803404 GRS.
Donation was 1898.091 GRS.

Price of GRS is increasing ***only*** because of boostpool buying GRS coins.
But looks like quite a lot of miners are selling all the coins that they just received.
This makes GRS price lower. And also, I'm losing BTC on that. Every day. I don't want that.

So far, all fees that I got were sent to Mintpal to drive the price up. Breaking through 350 satoshi turned out to be far from simple. I'm not even talking about the 1.7BTC worth of GRS for 400 satoshi disaster about a week ago...

If you are interested in mining and then selling straight away, this might not be the best pool for you.
I recommend to use websites like poolpicker.eu, coinwarz.com and whatmine.com to figure it out.

I am just announcing the price. Since you know it in advance, you can decide for yourself if it is acceptable or not.

If you are GRS supporter - you should mine here. If you are a miner trying to get the best profit, please see miner profitability websites.

Thanks
