41  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I found telegram chatbox where traders can talk live about trading on: April 14, 2022, 08:56:50 AM
There is chat box you talk live with other traders aand post your crypto projects and ideas to share with others there.
Global people you can make fastest way connections there

World Crypto Network
You're talking like you just found a gold mine while in reality these telegram channels are everywhere and not special at all. Most of them are scam and shill groups promoting their own shit coin and the legit ones are probably paid.
42  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Some Errors We Make In Trading Crypto on: April 13, 2022, 11:35:57 PM
Great points i think over leveraging (or leveraging in general) deserves a spot there, so many people fall into this trap of trading with money you don't have thinking they can multiply their winnings but end up losing their entire capital.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: exchange paypal to usdt on: April 13, 2022, 10:17:58 PM
Can anyone exchange paypl to usdt.

Depends, are you planning to use an  escrow ?
Yes no problem, but i would need to know how to do this as i never use escrow
I only know this forum becouse of betting accounts, and i know that here people who sell somthing arer 99% scames. so i would go for safest option posible
Yeah escrow is pretty much as safe as it can get,you basically chose a reputable forum membres and transfer the funds to him and he will make sure both parties get their money
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounties dead? on: April 13, 2022, 12:19:34 AM
After running several bounty campaigns I have noticed that they only attrach bot accounts, multiple fake accounts controlled by one person or low quality accounts that can not even give adequate comments - it is not the same as it used to be back in the days in 2018. Where has all the quality crowd gone?
We're in a bear market mate also i don't know if you were living under a rock but  the forum member count and activity have dropped significantly since 2018.
45  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is merit and what is it for? on: April 12, 2022, 06:01:01 PM
Quoting the responses  for you incase you feel lazy  Kiss

What is merit and what is it for?
Does it give any advantage?

What is Merit?

Merit is a new system created in order to reward quality contributions to the forum. Now to rise through ranks you will also need to acquire Merit in addition to Activity.

And how to earn it?

How do I receive merit?

You are awarded merit by people of the community if they find your post helpful or informative.

48  Economy / Gambling / Re: Another New Rule On Gambling Adverts Ban Celebrities and Sports Stars on: April 12, 2022, 12:50:06 AM
Quoted from news
Starting in October, gambling companies will not be allowed to use stars to target children under 18, the Advertising Practices Committee said.

Anyone with a "strong appeal" to young people, such as footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and Love Island star Chris Hughes, should not appear in advertisements.

The body representing betting companies said it welcomed the new rules.

Michael Dugher, chief executive of the Betting and Gaming Council (BGC) said the changes build on industry-led measures designed to "raise standards and ensure further protection in advertising."

The Advertising Practices Committee (CAP) said the "hard" new rules were part of its commitment to protecting young people and vulnerable audiences.

The new rules state that gambling and lottery advertisements must not "be a strong attraction to children or youth, especially by reflecting or being associated with youth culture".

References to video game content and gameplay popular with under-18s are also against the new rules.

There is opposition to gambling advertisements among some politicians, parents, and awareness campaigning groups around gambling addiction.

What impact will be received by gambling companies, both fiat and crypto, because we know that gambling companies use celebrities to boost the popularity of these gambling sites?

In terms of promotion, the gambling company may change its strategy in using these celebrities or use an age limit for those allowed to see these advertisements.

But from another perspective, it doesn't seem easy to do because children under 18 years old may already know how to see the ad. But indeed, the problem of gambling addiction is a very serious problem that needs everyone's attention. They can play gambling but with strict terms and conditions.
Children below 18 years old were always forbidden from accessing gambling websites so what does this notice adds ?
49  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Putin could nuke Ukraine like US nuked Japan on: April 11, 2022, 11:09:33 PM
The difference is when the US bombed japan they were the only country on the planet who has nukes so there was no fear of retaliation, nowdays however many countries have nukes of their own so nuking ukrain under the cover of war propaganda is highly risky and could backfire pretty hard for russia.

You do realise that pyramid schemes are illegal right ? and it doesn't help that you name your project "crypto pyramid"
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High Rollers on: April 10, 2022, 12:04:20 AM

Quite surprised to see consecutive high roller of above 20BTC on a single wager. Have any of you come across such big wagers in real-time. Came across this while spending time watching the high rollers on the bets tab. Have anyone came across such big bets, and I don't whether this player have managed to make a win or not. Shocked
I have seen way bigger bets (on youtube tho) but they're usually all winnings smh.So i guess we're not meant to see this
52  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do you know about Guarda wallet on: April 09, 2022, 06:21:08 PM

You can check their open source component here..
53  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam accusation on: April 09, 2022, 02:09:37 AM
From the looks of it  it may just be a bug from your end on the browser you're using i have had similar incidents like this on other gambling platforms and clearing the cash usually solves it so start by that or talk to support if the problem persists.

55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the society matured enough to handle privacy? on: April 08, 2022, 04:52:04 PM
But with the insecurity  and economic  crisis hitting the world from all angle is it still safe to agitate for a complete  decentralized  society  ditching  the fiat for bitcoin.  I only see both existing  together  with more preference on decentralization  but my concern  is if man is matured enough to handle the innovation or are you also seeing the abuse  of privacy coming along with it
A complete abandon of fiat money will likely not happen (atleast not anytime soon) the most likely scenario is bitcoin may become a Commodity while fiat will still be used in everyday life, was this sathois's plan for bitcoin ? probably not but it is what it is.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sent coin on wrong blockchain? on: April 07, 2022, 10:15:04 PM
Wondering if anyone has any experience with tracking/reversing transactions from crypto...
I am familiar with crypto, been mining for a couple years...
Haven't been very active with other currencies until recently...
Here's my situation:

I had $500 worth of MATIC tokens on the POLYGON Network in my MetaMask wallet
I wanted to convert them to AVAX and used the SWAP function on MetaMask that "appeared" to work
I then sent it to where I already had some AVAX therefore a wallet address
The transaction was successful but never showed up in binance

I'm thinking I can't send AVAX from the POLYGON network to the Binance Smart Chain?

If so, is there any way to retrieve the AVAX?

Any help or direction would be appreciated

I'm thinking I'm sunk and the tokens are gone?

Thanks in advance
If the transaction was confirmed then only binance can help you retrieve your funds, try contacting their support they will listen to you eventually if you make enough noise.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful around massive APY projects on: April 07, 2022, 10:05:15 PM
Stay away from projects with insanely high APY, 100,000% to 500,000% APY, you knew what I'm talking about, Titano, Safuu and others, invest but learn to back your initial investment first, all these defi projects are practising ponzinomic scheme. The latest is Safutinano, just know what you are doing.
I can't believe that somone in his right mind would think that a project offering 100,000% + APY is legit. it's an obvious ponzi scheme and if you fall for it you deserve to lose your money tbh.
58  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which VPN to pick? on: April 07, 2022, 03:25:04 PM
Hey, I am just starting out and would like to use a VPN, but don't know which one... Would you recommend NordVPN? I have done some reading and looks alright, how is it for bitcoin stuff?
What do you exactly mean by "bitcoin stuff" ? if you're planning to use a vpn to access gambling websites or crypto exchanges to bypass the country restriction then you will be in trouble if you get caught no matter what vpn are you using.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Legit cloud mining? on: April 07, 2022, 12:21:19 AM
I know this topic has previously been discussed a lot, but Im wondering if there are any legit cloud mining services anyone can recommend?
Cloud mining was discussed unhealthy amount of times in this forum and the conclusion was its all scam.

Didin't know that they're still a thing in 2022 i thought they all ended in the 2017 era with probably an  exit scam.
