More bad news.

tl;dr: someone found a way to use some users leaked data from another site to log in on polo _AND_ bypass 2fa _completely_. The last hit was then, the poor mail-site the user used which "on autopilot" crawled the links in his emails and this way confirmed the withdraw order....

I still can't say if poloniex is going to 'gox its users, i think it will not but that just solely based on my opinion. In real, it's going to be a 50:50 chance...

So ... watch your funds and accounts closely, CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD IF YOU EVER USED IT ELSEWHERE, A.S.A.P.! and .. well.... be careful.

I think there is some serious shit going on over there at poloniex. As they recovered once from some stolen funds and paid users out of their pocket, there is still some chance that no one really makes losses on whatever happens....

But .. having my coins frozen for weeks, is already something i won't handle lightly... so..

Next step, moving my litecoin out there asap, only leaving doge and stellar over there (less than 0.005btc in value).

I will keep watching what happens there.... for sure.

P.s.: Hint: The by far best passwordmanager i ever found and i still use today is keepass, it really keeps your ass... no joke and no i don't get anything for telling that.... But i have virtually _everything_ in my .kdb file. Passwords, 2fa secrets, api keys, Sofware-Licence Keys, _pics of license badges from computers_ and what else....... Well people ... after waiting for ages (weeks to be exact) i finally got my BTC _and_ my BCH out of polo, sadly, they still did not give me the real BCH for all BTC in limbo.... but o.k.

I only have 0.01btc left there in several coins ... but i'm actually checking my options where to send them to have them on the safe side _if_ they actually break down completely.

Yeah right ... now that i got the most part of my funds outta there, i will keep them _wherever i like but not on polo_.


I still have around 0.01btc left there, in several coins (DOGE, LTC, STR, DGB - and still waiting for the remaining BCH), i will leave them there for a while but only in lending using my bot.....

Anything else will never again belong in any way to polo ....... except they show that they're come back to a healthy state ... for some months...

OK .. finally i got my coins paid out ..... at least, the BTC they hold back for weeks now and those few BCH i bought recently.

Now i'm only missing the BCH which i should get for these BTC they had in nirvana all this time.

Next round on the waiting game.... Btw, i now had 2 support tickets open, one for the BTC withdraw order and one for the BCH withdraw order. Both are just closed now....

I guess, i have to open a new ticket to get the missing BCH....

Interestingly, i'm still able to set up loan offers with interest rates as low as 0.0009% for Stellar/STR, so this change might actually kill any lending bots ability to work in the long run.....

Oh well ... according to the website poloniex.com, as you can see at the bottom right of the page, the site and the exchange _does not operate on local delaware time_ but at UTC.......

So, there should no timezone difference occur at all....

That's not a real increase. It's just a mathematical side effect from opening a market with zero value and volume going straight into a lot of trading and volatility.

Heh, i'm pretty sure, that is completely irrelevant in this place. BECAUSE, _if_ poloniex would have my transaction processed as usual, i would already have these coins in my local wallet and so doubled it's value in to bcc/bch.

But right now, Poloniex is holding my funds as hostage. Which:
A: gave me some losses from not being able to lend.
B: gave me a loss from not being able to trade.
C: gave me a loss from not being able to sell BCH in time.
D: gave me a loss from being not able to use my funds at all.
And right now:
E: Gives me a loss because poloniex does not pay their I.O.U. to me.

It is probably being considerable as Fraud, as they seem to just not pay out any I.O.U. to me at all.

So, according to at least German Laws, this will be considered as Fraudulent Behaviour and probably as Theft or Evasion.

Counting in the possible earnings which i lost due to the behaviour - or better not-behaving - from poloniex, i'm sure, there will be some lawyer which happily will take this case to a court.

Especially as i have to earn some money to fullfill other stuff, which keeps me from getting rid of additional costs i have to cover.

So, all in all, it's not looking good for Busoni/Tristan D'Agosta.

Oh .. and let's not forget. His company is still lying about the form of company behind the site.

On the site there is still written that it is a business of Poloniex Inc. which is not really true as they created Poloniex LLC back in 2014.

So, even _THAT_ is probably to be considered as fraudulent behavior.......

Well, besides the fact that one can have free aws accounts, i provide a user with a fixed ip address which will make you able to restrict API access to exactly that IP. Or it might serve as your central command&control-server for your scripts or whatever one need.

I don't know if one may have use for that shell, i will let this offer stay open for a while.
