@meme32: and where you able to withdraw them? I would be surprised actually...I think Polo is a scam

mcxNow is starting anew! Moving over to mtmox.com while scrapping all users' balances with only 2 weeks notice.

It is now clearly stated:
It is a scam

RealSolid is a scammer.

He has no business running an exchange. He has total disregard for people's balances. I have no respect for him whatsoever.
They are now starting anew and for 'security' reasons all existing balances will be WIPED OUT. Oh please!
Giving only two weeks notice is ridiculous.

His new mtmox.com is a scam just as mcxnow was. Anyone ever find out how he spend the IPO money? C'mon guys, he probably just bought himself a nice house. I hope he can live with himself.

Well, just for the fun of it, tried logging in today. Only to find a new banner saying 'mcxNow is changing'

LOL. Oh do they? For 'security' reasons they decided to just SCRAP everyone's balances

(well unless you got them out before Nov. 15 2014, whoohoo, almost 2 weeks notice!)

What a joke.

They will be changing into mtmox.com. With 0 on everyones balance off course....

SCAM. Don't fall for it. STAY AWAY
5  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin-trader.biz on: November 07, 2014, 04:22:11 PM
It seems you should track down bitcoin-trader.biz the same way as the 'Pirate' scammer:
http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-ponzi-schemer-charged-criminal-securities-fraud/

They were able to find him and now he is facing jail time!
I hope you find bitcoin-trader just the same.

I've used various exchanges and never had any problems with them...Doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

Well, it happened to me too as you can read here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=518342.msg5730740#msg5730740. Although it is stated on their website I still think this is a scam. You shouldn't loose any money using an exchange service (well, unless you do bad trades ofc).

How hard would it be to automatically return the funds if the amount is too low? Considering all the bragging about his coding skills that should be a piece of cake for him. And it wouldn't feel like you were just ripped off. No matter the amount.
8  Economy / Scam Accusations / mcxNow / TheRealSolid is a scammer on: March 16, 2014, 05:09:34 PM
What happened::
I deposited a few BTC on my mcxNow account. Went ok. After that I decided to deposit from an almost empty wallet 0.00591647 BTC. It did not arrive. After a few days still nothing arrived. Sent an email, no reply. Discussed it in the chat box, no reply, had to talk to realsolid they told me. But he never responds.. Used the chatbox on http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=#mcxnow , same story. Send him a few more mails. Still no response from realsolid even though I sent him PM's and addressed him directly. Waited a whole month. Tried contacting him during chat. Same story all over again: He just ignored me.

Only answer I got (from other users): you should have read that there is a MINIMUM deposit. I had lost my coins and should say goodbye to them. Excuse me? Come again? Never have I heard of a minimum deposit and no refunds?
Yes, I know I should have read that there was a minimum deposit.
Yes, I know it's only 4 dollar's worth of BTC.
But that's NOT THE POINT. Its the principle. I should be able to trust my exchange, and expect them to respond to my support questions and act reasonably to them. I have accounts on at least 5 other exchanges and never has anything like this happened.

Today I decided to get his attention and get him aggravated. You know what he did? He chatbanned me for $50 worth and bragged about it afterwards. So he rather spends $50 on having me shut up than spend $4 to get a happy customer!?!. Coming from a site that shouts 'Welcome to the investment class' this is totally and completely unprofessional. And some other things I will not state here.

My warning: stay away from mcxNow and RealSolid and do your business on a *real* exchange.
