I'm starting to think people are being paid to post FUD in these threads... I've seen these kind of tactics used on facebook when a page or group tries to support a cause that goes against the status quo... Well, here we go again

Nobody pays me anything.  This coin has been a scam from the start.

As far as FinCEN requirements, the wording is rather ambiguous and could be interpreted differently by different individuals/ entities.  Silicon Valley coin is basically transmitting a virtual currency and could be classified as a money transmitter.  We'll see how this plays out but like I already stated,  I doubt that the mail drops will even happen.

Not really.  The top one is what's left of my order.  I've been buying at 0.00001000 and below.  I found .1 btc in my Poloniex account or else I wouldn't have bought any.  Bought around 10000 for about .04 btc.  If it tanks below what I paid no big loss.

Too everyone saying XSV may be in violation of Fincen regulations...

Crypto has been recognized as PROPERTY!  Not currency.

Go spread your fud somewhere else.

Facts are not fud.  You are obviously not very knowledgeable on the subject.  You are referring to the IRS.  That has nothing to do with FinCEN requirements.  And according to the IRS, anyone redeeming XSV will be required to claim the value on their tax returns.  Yeah that's going to work out real well.

This coin can't work because of the issues I have pointed out.

No FinCEN registration = In violation of  Department of Treasury

Recipients required to claim value of property in federal tax filings

Q-1: How is virtual currency treated for federal tax purposes?

A-1: For federal tax purposes, virtual currency is treated as property. General tax principles applicable to property transactions apply to transactions using virtual currency.

Q-3: Must a taxpayer who receives virtual currency as payment for goods or
services include in computing gross income the fair market value of the virtual
currency?
A-3: Yes. A taxpayer who receives virtual currency as payment for goods or services

Do your research bro...

Fincen Regulations for Virtual Currencies: http://www.complianceweek.com/new-fincen-guidance-clarifies-corporate-bitcoin-requirements/article/332667/

From the article:
“The production and distribution of software, in and of itself, does not constitute acceptance and transmission of value, even if the purpose of the software is to facilitate the sale of virtual currency,” FinCEN wrote. As a result, the software would not make the company a money transmitter.

And Finally, might want to do some current events for Bitcoin:
http://bitcoinvista.com/2014/04/05/announcing-free-bitcoins-inside-bitcoins-new-york-to-giveaway-prepaid-bitcoin-cards-to-attendees/

I don't think Bitcoin is registered with FinCEN =)

Did you read the links you posted?

Bitcoin isn't transmitting bitcoin to people like SiliconValley is doing.

The first ruling states that if a user creates or “mines” a convertible virtual currency solely for their own purposes, they are not a money transmitter under the BSA. The second ruling clarifies that a company purchasing and selling virtual currency as an investment exclusively for the its own benefit is also not considered to be a money transmitter.

The rulings further interpret guidance issued in March 2013. That guidance made it clear that, from FinCEN's perspective, an administrator or exchanger of conveyable virtual currencies that accepts and transmits it, or buys or sells it in exchange for legal tender or another virtual currency for any reason (including intermediating between a user and a seller of goods or services the user is purchasing on the user's behalf) is considered a money transmitter for regulatory purposes.

These guys will essentially be money transmitters and fall under FinCen requirements.  Doesn't matter anyway since these guys have no intention of doing the maildrop anyway.

Sorry not to be here when Poloniex markets opened.

Investors and miners who dump their coins will regret it; we expect a big news within a week.

Heard that before.  Good luck.  Your launch was good.  Your IPO just put too many cheap coins out there.

We have delivered on EACH & EVERY promise up till now.

Allcrypt was ready within minutes of launch.
Poloniex added us a day after launch as we said.

If anyone still thinks we are faking, they are free to dump their coins and regret later Smiley

Nobody said you were faking.  But for only 0.1 BTC someone got 121790.2321 love.  At 0.000016  that's 1.9 btc.   And there is lots more of this cheap IPO coin.  It will take a long time if ever for the price of this coin to go up.   No sensible investor is going to buy in for the price the people in this thread are holding out for with all that cheap love out there.  The crypto market is saturated with coins and not enough btc to go around.

We accept that the IPO did not do too well and it has hurt the coin a bit. But its not over! We are very confident that once a few weeks pass, we will see the real value of LOVE.

I hope so because I decided to buy some since people are dumping it so cheap.

Are you serious?  You just launched matricxcoin which was fucked up and you had to relaunch and screwed a bunch of people out of their time and hashing power.  Now you launch another clone of DarkCoin and can't get it right again.

Listen here little boy.  YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS PRETENDING TO BE A COIN DEVELOPER.  You can't even do the basics to clone a coin.  You need to go back to playing with leggos or something you might be able to do.  You can't launch a coin and you will never be able to support a coin.  You're wasting peoples time with these shitcoins.  You even stated in your matrix coin thread that this was a hobby.   Your hobby is wasting people time and costing them money because of it.

People like you are destroying the reputation of all cryptocurrencies with you pathetic shitcoins.  You need to go away and stay away.

Oh, and please send me some more nasty PM's.  We enjoy laughing at punks like you.

Did you upload your wallet.dat with your premine like you did before?

Your shitcoin is fucked up.  You might want to fix this shit first.  But you already knew that didn't you?  That's why you fucked up again.  Anyone mining any shitcoin you launch is a fool that's wasting their time with your garbage shitcoin.

main.cpp

Your hashcoin code

    }

DarkCoin code:

  if (fTestNet)
    {
        pchMessageStart[0] = 0xfc;
        pchMessageStart[1] = 0xc1;
        pchMessageStart[2] = 0xb7;

    }

Edit:  I'm sure if I wanted to waste my time I could find plenty of other mistakes you made in your code.

Because for one I am not a child. Secondly your opinion doesn't matter to me? You are pretty immature by making accusations and flaming my thread. Your like the 80% of the typical internet troll. No one cares about you. I am a lead graphic designer irl. Coins are my hobby and Matrixcoin is my most successful launch thus far, I will be creating new coins and developing further, everyone has to start somewhere. Just like you, your trying to become a hated troll. I just have bigger ambitions. Now I am really done wasting my time on you. Got to get back to developing! Smiley

You just don't get it do you?

Coins are my hobby

I will be creating new coins

You have stated that this is your hobby.  It's costing people time and money to mine this hobby of yours.

Why will you be creating new coins?  For what purpose other than to satisfy your hobby?

No new coins are needed.  There is already a glut of shitcoins.  200+ on coinmarketcap and at least another couple hundred like yours.

It's people like you that are destroying the credibility of cryptocurrency.  You clowns just keep pumping out shitcoin after shitcoin.  But hey it's your hobby.  Who cares about the future of cryptocurrency as long as you're having fun right?

Your bigger ambitions are getting one of your shitcoins in the top 100 so that you might be able to make some btc with you're premine/instamine before abandoning it and moving onto the next one.  People like you are a dime a dozen and easily seen for the frauds that you are.  Unless your one of the fools on this board that jump at every new shitcoin launch hoping to strike it rich.

Oh, I forgot to add, you stated "Because for one I am not a child.".  Your little temper tantrum that you sent to me via PM says otherwise.

The term "money transmission services" means "the acceptance of currency, funds, or other value that substitutes for currency from one person and the transmission of currency, funds, or other value that substitutes for currency to another location or person by any means."

No response to legitimate questions about the legal ramifications of transferring funds in the United States but the dev has time to post for people to vote to get listed on another exchange.  Anytime you see a dev where a majority of their posts are regarding getting on exchanges it's obvious that their main concern is making a quick buck.  They want this listed on as many exchanges as possible so they can dump that premine in the three weeks before the supposed maildrop starts that is likely illegal in the United States without filing with the Department of Treasury.

Why would any adult support a coin launched by a child like you?

I have posted some legitimate questions regarding this coin in a civil way without referring to it as a scam and I get no response.  The people mining this coin and using their resources have a right to know the answers to these questions as they have a definite impact on the future of this coin.

I also am very concerned that there is no transparency regarding the 48% to be used for the maildrop and the other 2% premine that went to the developers.

If there is nothing to hide then it should be a simple matter to provide answers to these valid questions that I have posted on this thread.

Waiting for a response but know I'll just get the usual "Go away troll"  from the shills.

Who is the representative of Silicon Valley coin that has registered with the Department of the Treasury for being a Money Service Business?

FinCEN's regulations define the term "money transmitter" as a person that provides money transmission services, or any other person engaged in the transfer of funds. The term "money transmission services" means "the acceptance of currency, funds, or other value that substitutes for currency from one person and the transmission of currency, funds, or other value that substitutes for currency to another location or person by any means."

You are definitely required to register In the United States if you plan on transmitting any form of currency in a maildrop as is intended.

The feds don't take too kindly to people ignoring Fincen guidance.
