261  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] SCAMMER on: September 06, 2017, 08:02:07 AM
I have had a reasonable large amount of transactions on, and I have to say that I have never experienced any bad things. All transactions were processed extremely fast, so I have absolutely no complaints.

OP, you probably have done something wrong or made a mistake. I can't imagine litebit scamming you.
262  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.1 BTC to list my coin on yobit on: September 05, 2017, 11:30:24 AM
This link tells you what a valid collatoral is:

Something tells me that you'll never provide collatoral, but that's just my two cents.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I proceed with my ICO fundraising attempt? on: September 04, 2017, 05:16:24 PM
I've been reading lots of your articles and just want you to know it is appreciated.
Yeah sure; first post, and you've read all his articles?

you are trusted and will surely be supported. Smiley

Yeah sure "trusted". How about the fact that he is a 1 post newbie?

I'm not saying anything against the project or something, but what you're saying here is complete BS.

You're probably an alt of OP anyways Roll Eyes
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is better than Cash. on: September 03, 2017, 10:11:05 PM
Cool that you're posting this here, but I don't think this is the right place. Most people who come here already know the advantages of bitcoin.

You probably should post it on a 'regular' forum where people don't know about bitcoin. It's better to spread awareness there then here.
Telling your friends/family also works better than posting here.
265  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I told my brothers and cousins about signature campaigns. on: September 03, 2017, 09:21:33 PM
It is not against the rules to have multiple accounts on the same IP address. Wheter you or your brother/cousin use it, that's up to you.

However, you could of course ask the campaign manager if he's willing to accept you.

By the way, I don't think this topic is in the right section. It should be moved somewhere else.
266  Economy / Gambling / Re: easy online lottery, realistic payout and realistic ammounts. try it out yourself on: September 03, 2017, 08:56:53 PM
This should be obvious for more experienced members, but for newbies: stay out of this. This website is most likely not legit.

I do not have proof for it, but the website looks very fishy, and they have no provable fair lottery system. Basically everything on their weabsite tells me this is either a scam, or a very bad website.
267  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Overview of all bitcoin casinos] Latest update: 25-08-17 on: September 03, 2017, 08:28:33 PM

Bad rules? What do you mean that? I do noy quite understand about this rules. I know they have been not updated recently due to bitcoin prize recently but still if they do not do anything their site can't compete.

What I specifically mean by that, is that those 2 sites have a 6:5 blackjack payout, which increases the house edge enormousely compared to a 3:2 payout. That's the major thing I've looked at.

Your comment made me think though, so I might change it to a actual percentage, in stead of just 'high' and 'low'.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why price going down today? on: September 02, 2017, 04:30:28 PM
Most altcoin prices (in USD) are related to the bitcoin price. So when bitcoins goes down, they go down.

Bitcoin going down is just a thing that happens every now and then. Just like the price goes up every now and then as well. There is only one thing you can do about it: get used to it. If you can't, it's hard to manage your bitcoins/altcoins/investments.
269  Economy / Securities / Re: Klyemax Studios Shareholders repayment thread. on: August 31, 2017, 11:48:40 AM
I would never expected this.
This is the most amazing thing that I've witnesed on this forum.

Can someone from the sharesholders confirm that this is truly happening?
Yeah, Klye bought back little over .1 BTC of shares from me a month ago. I totally forgot about it, but he contacted me with the question if I wanted to sell the shares back.
And yes, he paid.
270  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Announcing on: August 31, 2017, 10:46:05 AM
I've give them negative trust.

Anyone who tries to scam other people (they clearly state it on their website), deserve to have a negative trust. This website deserves absolutely no traffic.
271  Other / Meta / Re: Drafts section on: August 30, 2017, 10:10:06 PM
Well, newbies tend to spam a lot, so they are restricted to make just a few posts.

Also, the quality of the average newbie is lower then the average quality of a more established member, so it doesn't hurt to limit the posts.

Just be patient, and work yourself up slowly.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BCH, SegWit, SegWit2 - I'm confused, can you help in laymans terms please on: August 30, 2017, 09:02:33 PM
Wow DannyHamilton, thanks for that explenation; that helps a lot.

Who are the parties that disagree about the 1MB or 2MB size? Are those the Core developers? And why do they disagree? Isn't it better for all of us to have one bitcoin. First, for simplicity. Second, to keep everyone on the same boat. It isn't good for both bitcoins if the developers split.
273  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Overview of all bitcoin casinos] Latest update: 25-08-17 on: August 30, 2017, 05:44:31 PM have 9 cryptocurrencies + 1 play-money, not 7.
This has been updated in the list. I miscounted the amount, sorry for that.
Besides that, bitvest has got 2 altcoins to gamble with as well: ETH en LTC.

Also, I have updated some ratings accordingly.

If anyone has tips/comments, you can still PM me.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet getting blocked? on: August 30, 2017, 01:49:03 AM
Yes, online your wallet can get blocked, if the provider decides to do so.

That's why you should always store as much of your coins as possible in a wallet where you are the only one that controlls the private keys. If you do that, no one can block you to send/keep/do whatever (with) your coins.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling place with a good faucet on: August 29, 2017, 06:39:22 PM
You can have a look at my Bitcointalk topic

It has a list of multiple bitcoin casino's. The lists consists of some casino's which have faucets on their site.
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you even gamble? on: August 29, 2017, 03:36:26 PM
I do gamble every now and then myself, but I am for sure not addicted.

Although I know my limits, it's really hard to stop when you're down. You can't stand the fact that you lose money, and you want to play more to get the money back.

I think it has a lot to do with the uncertainty of the outcome of the gamble. There always is a chance you win it back, so you're chasing your loss.
277  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-29] SegWit's Slow Rollout: Why Bitcoin's Capacity Hasn't Seen a Sudden on: August 29, 2017, 02:17:17 PM
Let's give Segwit more grace period to really see if it fulfill what it promises
To use SegWit, you will need to use the new transaction type between new SegWit addresses.  As TraderTimm correctly points out with that chart, less than one percent of transactions currently being sent are SegWit transactions.  That's nothing to do with SegWit, it's to do with wallets not creating easy interfaces for spending SegWit transactions -snip-

I agree with you 100%. The problem is that the average bitcoin user doesn't know how to use it. I mean, I don't know how to do it, and I know more about bitcoin than the average person on this forum.
We need someone who raises general awareness, and can easily explain how it works.

279  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-28] This Swedish guy bet all his life savings on bitcoin on: August 29, 2017, 12:41:22 PM
One word: stupid.

Even though it turned out good, he risked way too much.

It's the same as betting all of your live savings on red on roulette, and seeing it as a good descision after you've won. That's not how it works. It's just stupid.

Even though I'm hoping the best for bitcoin, it's just not worth the risk to put all your live savings at risk.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money? on: August 29, 2017, 10:31:13 AM
Yes, for sure digital currency will play a major role in the future. Here in the Netherlands, everyone is used to pay with their debit card. I even think it's used more then cash.

However, paper money will not be gone for a long time, since there are always people around who don't want to adapt to new things.

When digital currency is more a usual thing, I don't think it's gonna be bitcoin. The fees are simply too high to be adopted worldwide.
