1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "If you were the President of the DGC Foundation, what would be your next step?" on: Today at 07:24:15 PM
Yes just for you I can conjecture a full on crusade against DGC you like.

Haha, you cant do shit. Did you succeed in breaking Monero?

I was sufficiently motivated to withdraw from that endeavor.

One of my more profitable campaigns!

Any more questions?
~BCX~

yeah, have you ever managed to sustain a meaningful relationship with another human being? your overall attitude conveys otherwise.

i'd refute you're obvious trolling but it'd just devolve into mindless FUD, which is probably your only real goal here. the final point here is that the DGC network itself was never rigged, block rewards have always been fair and by public consensus. say what you want about Baritus but DGC is clean.

FYI I was sent a PM by kenel and asked to participate in this thread.

Yes just for you I can conjecture a full on crusade against DGC you like.

Where are all the Baritus fanboys now?

I remember catching a serious load of crap for calling him out for the scammer he is.

Any one still think he didn't steal the $30K worth of DGC?

~BCX~

Please remind me as I can't remember, who did he steal the coins from ?

He ripped off the all the investors he solicited from to build his next time proven follow on scam, CryptoAve.

I find it amazingly coincidental that an unknown "mystery employee" swipes $30K of DGC from Baritus personal stash in the damn near the same amount he raised from investors. Basically he used their money to fund CAVE and sold his personal coins at the same time.

Any more questions?

4  Other / Meta / Re: Why is the trust changing so much? on: Today at 04:18:50 AM
Yes, what a tiny inconvenience it is to have the highest ranking person in the trust system exclude you from pretty much everyone's trust no matter who includes you, because the exclusion cascades down the default trust list, destroying my already earned trust score. If regular people wanted to remove me, that would be fine, but added me as the very first trust exclusion as retribution for not obeying his commands in regard to him demanding I remove a trust rating (which is not moderated of course, he says!).

You want to know why the trust is changing so much? Just examine your own behavior.

Moral of the story: You really shouldn't fuck with some people.

5  Economy / Service Discussion / Obsidian Bitcoin Exchange in Austin on: Today at 04:13:01 AM
I was at SXSW last week in Austin and was listening to some guy talking about a startup in Austin called Obsidian. Supposedly it will take on Coinbase directly. Has anyone else heard anything about this exchange? Can't find too much info from Goog.

I'm just curious more than anything else.

It's weird to see BCX commenting on altcoins. He favors blatant scam or crapcoins such as Goldcoin, Digitalcoin, Maxcoin all of which are centralized scams and group mined by their developers, yet bashes on altcoins that suprisingly do "good" and with integrity - there's only one of which I've seen so far and yes it's monero - , in a sea of filth, scams, and general trash. It's almost as if he's scared of some coins rising to prominence. It's either this guy is a villian who wants all cryptocurrencies to perish by supporting the worst(and using reverse psych to make it seem like hes doing a "good thing"), a troll, or a retard.

Can't tell, I for one, wish he didn't support Bitcoin. Next thing you know BCX is gonna be saying "BTC is dead" just like all those other trolls to try and "game the market" in his favor.

Wrong thread to have this convo in, but since you asked why did I support Bitcoin, simple.

I was mining Bitcoin long before any altcoin ever existed.

Moderators are quite neutral on alt coin matters. It would be blaringly obvious if mprep was favoring XMR threads, and Theymos would have brought it up to him loooooooong ago. Moderators can be fans of certain coins and still follow the rules without bias.

True dat.

No one has trashed Monero more than I and not a single one of my post have been removed from this forum.

In fact the only post I have ever had removed was done so in a massive sweep of a non Monero thread.

I don't know mprep but I do know he doesn't "protect" the Monero scamcoin.

Still smells of Baritus.  Wink

~BCX~

When you catch his trail, follow it.....I have a lot of people wanting their DGC back from the shares of cryptoave that he sold......

Never seen any theymos' posts relating to it but I could be wrong.

FYI,

~BCX~

The altcoin sections are very popular, so I'd like to support them. I don't think that they do anything to hurt the other sections. If you're annoyed at how they clutter the "show unread posts since last visit" page, then you can add those boards to your ignore boards list. (I'm thinking of changing this page so that you can click a button next to each thread to ignore the board it's in.)

I'm not usually interested in altcoins myself, but I can see how people can enjoy them. Most altcoin "investing" is a lot like gambling. I can see how trying to navigate and manipulate these tiny markets could be fun for a lot of people. These pump-and-dump altcoins aren't really competitors to Bitcoin: they're really a way of using your bitcoins to gamble. There are also a handful of technologically interesting altcoins like Monero, which I think are very useful for testing new ideas that might one day be incorporated into Bitcoin.

@OP

I am going to go out on a limb here and put forth the theory that "begging threads" no matter who from are against the rules.

I know I have seen that somewhere.  Wink

Wait, so you rally a mob against a user, damage his reputation before he even has time to respond..

@Techshare

I know you find this hard to believe but you have done more to damage yourself than everyone else combined.

The only thing more predicted than the death of this forum has been the death of bitcoin itself.

This has to be thread #99 on this subject I know of since 2010 in these forums.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=356065.0;
Yes. Why? Not sure of any others he's involved in.

Why? Just curious.

TechShare was, and likely still is, a major player with IFC and it's sock parade. He ran/hosted the official forum and the Steam chat room.

We were friends until the day he threatened me during a Steam chat. And all because I wasn't agreeing with everything he was saying. He threatened me a second time after I reminded people about IFC's sketchy past. eg. the cryptsy troll box insider trading, the creator of Project Infinite and his trust buying giveaways.

Since then, I have learn that mudder was IFC's secretive dev and/or fisheater was his sock. Thus every bit of that drama we saw when IFCv2/COL was launched was completely staged in an effort to "rally the troops". Because of this I have good reason to believe that he is or is closely tied to muddafudda.

Interesting information.

So we know he's associated with IFC, what about any websites or exchanges?

I am only interested in his associations and activity in crypto world.

It will truly bring a smile to my face and warmth for my heart to indeed discover he is an alt of Mudda.

Techshare - Can anyone list the coins he develops or sites he runs?

Don't know a lot about the guy, just curious if anyone knows.

~BCX~

He contributed a bit to darkcoin I heard, might be a developer of that instamine shit I think.

Any connection to TEK or IFC by any chance?

Any good hackers here?

I just turned my laptop on and McAfee popped up this message I've never seen on any of my computers before.

"The following device has logged onto your network":

"IP address:  10.0.1.71"

I'm in Oregon, I googled this IP address and it's from North Carolina.

Is this a glitch or something?  TIA

Hmm how did you determine that this private IP which can only exist inside your own network originate from North Carolina?

Go to a command prompt and run ipconfig /all and see if you see that address.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DRK vs XMR warez on: February 23, 2015, 07:35:33 AM

Monero cons

Original authors are scam artists so other devs have taken it over (for XMR)

Who were the original authors and who are the devs today?

I know you guys love talking about me, but this thread is about how Nubbins abuses the default trust system.

(note: Notice how none of the off topic posts are being removed from this thread? Funny how that works.)

ON TOPIC:

So have you been successful in convincing anyone other than yourself that Nubbins should be removed?

Does the original accusation still stand?

If so can you outline why without all of the conspiracy theories of staff persecution?

Hey Mprep,

This thread is proof positive you are doing it the right way.

I've never had a thread or comment removed by Mprep.
