I don't get the altcoin wars. Why do you just spam abuse at each other incessantly, isn't there something more useful you can be doing to further Monero or whatever else?

Who the hell would argue over altcoins and furthermore calling it a war is a little on the hyperbole side don't you think?

2  Other / Meta / Re: Ban appeal - TradeFortress; re theymos dox on: November 26, 2015, 12:47:26 AM
The original Tradefortress being Coinhunter makes more sense than you realize.

Wasn't Coinhunter involved with RealSolid at one point ? I'm a bit hazy on my SolidCoin history.

Coinhunter and Realsolid are in in the same.

Confirmed by him numerous times in this forum.

been looking for an hour, i think this confirms it
some more evidence;topicseen#msg773626

There are many peope here who can confirm Coinhunter and Realsolid are one in the same.

3  Other / Meta / Re: Who runs this board? Emergency please help on: November 24, 2015, 02:18:25 AM
If we want to be more in-depth as you guys seem to be a bit confused about this, theymos is defined as the "Head Administrator". There's actually a board of people who can vote to remove/change the head administrator though as far as I'm aware, which is an attempt to safeguard against any possible head administrator who goes off the rails.

There's no "Board" that votes in Theymos LOL

Can't believe this thread still has a pulse.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: iGotSpots Scam Dev on: November 19, 2015, 02:08:21 AM
@Hippie Tech

I haven't ever figured out why you're so hostile.

I'm guessing one of your alts got their ass kicked so hard by me you couldn't recover from it and became who you are today.

But relax, I'm a kinder gentler BCX now.

Honestly Cryptsy has pissed me off a few times but they have always bent over backwards to help me out in any issue I had.

Have no idea why.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Cryptsy was Hacked ? on: November 18, 2015, 01:59:48 AM

Thanks for reminding me Spoetnik.

Now I'm going to have to look up my ol' pal Baritus!

I wonder how many people he has scammed since his Digitalcoin exit.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: iGotSpots Scam Dev on: November 18, 2015, 01:55:12 AM

A community driven investigation is ongoing.

I have had no connection to Cryptsy other than being a fan and customer.

Maybe I have been just really lucky but I have never had a problem that wasn't fixed quickly

and I never had a single problem of withdrawing coins ever.

Cryptsy customer service always took care of me.

8  Other / Meta / Re: Can the Philippines PLEASE get their own sub-section? on: November 17, 2015, 01:13:22 AM
I am surprised that the Philippines subforum (well, sub-thread) is that huge. To be honest it's the first time I've ever looked at the "Other languages" section and i've been in here for years now. It was a pleasant surprise. With that amount of posts, I think they deserve a subforum.. if a country will benefit from Bitcoin, those are countries like Philippines.

Yes hundreds of pages of post

Almost 20 unique users

That's the issue.

9  Other / Meta / Re: Can the Philippines PLEASE get their own sub-section? on: November 12, 2015, 02:28:01 AM
Or is it still just Theymos's and Badbear's subjective opinion that make the decision?!?

But i have to ask a question?

Do you think they should also bring back Wowowee?

That has a better chance than you getting a sub-forum.

Pope Spoetnik will forgive you of your Altcoin-Sins if you repent now !

I only have one alt,;u=138471

Well, I was bored so here's the math.

The past 7 days (little over by a few hours, +~12).

140 posts, 20 unique users, average of 20 posts a day.

10 users posted 3 times or less.

Top 5 posters account for 95 of 140 posts, top 3 account for 72.

An entire new section is probably not needed yet.

It was an answered officially on the second page of this thread by Badbear.

Theymos and Badbear are the only ones that can create new sub-forums.

There is no need or enough unique use to warrant a new sub-forum.

The 20 or so individuals and their alts posting hundreds of pages in thread are fooling no one.

You guys have to know how wrong you are when I agree with Smooth.

Hell has officially frozen over.

13  Other / Meta / Re: ITALIAN moderator HOSTFAT - ABUSE: Fake Profile on: October 31, 2015, 04:48:39 PM

This sounds more like a mod pissed off a cry baby.

Furthermore this belongs in SCAM ACCUSATIONS.

14  Other / Meta / Re: Professional trolls on: October 31, 2015, 04:13:15 AM

Sadly, because of this kind of professional trolls and other currency supporters  the situation in our thread is out of control.

You just need to check the last 3 pages to understand the conversation has become impossible.

I think the moderator of the section (@mprep) is doing his best. Unfortunately this is not enough.

Professional trolls LOL

Don't exist!

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin CEO spent stolen funds to Buy Sex on: October 29, 2015, 12:39:31 AM
Anyone who left coins on Gox after the June 2011 fiasco deserved to get their coins stolen.

Anyone with more than two brain cells not fighting each other for survival knew what was going to happen.

16  Other / Meta / Re: Can the Philippines PLEASE get their own sub-section? on: October 29, 2015, 12:33:23 AM
Still no Filipino sub ? I can only deduce that the administration of these forums is prejudiced against them.

It has nothing to do with prejudice and every thing to do with lack of need.

Rather than continually spewing "We need a sub-forum"

Post the data to support it with a well outlined reason for need.

17  Other / Meta / Re: Legendary one day? on: October 29, 2015, 12:29:32 AM

Actually I was "Legendary" before the rank ever existed!

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin LTC soon at $0 on: October 28, 2015, 12:55:08 PM
as much as a dislike saying it, litecoin will probably be around for a while simply because it was the original alt. it has a certain collectors value

Litecoin was not the original alt, in fact its a clone of Tenebrix.

Namecoin was the first alt.

19  Other / Meta / Re: Good-bye Trust Thingie! You'll be missed. on: October 28, 2015, 02:42:45 AM
Your trust score is only viewable in the marketplace, mining, trading discussion and altcoin discussion sections. You will also see it if you are viewing their profile and in your PM's. If you are looking at someone's posts in any other section then you will not be able to see other's trust scores.

Hmm, but your trust score is so bad I can see it even before I turn my computer on

Leroy Fodor's a unique user residing in the Philippines where he for a while island hopped conducting free seminars to bring awareness to Bitcoin by teaching those in attendance how to go from amassing satoshis worth of bitcoins and altcoins via faucets, then purchase mining equipment with their newfound wealth to hopefully have a farm as large as his largest bitcoin mining farm in all the Philippines complete with solar power. Now, Leroy enjoys an over 900 membership base of his StakeMiners, administered from his office in the tallest building in Davao, Philippines, with his B.B.A. diploma from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, hanging squarely on the wall.

Are you sure, because I swear I read somewhere that his step daughter offered Leroy Fodor her last 29 pesos that she was saving to come to 'merica for his business.

Did I remember that right?
