So I got a fan to test that has a maximum CFM of 85.6 Do you think that will be enough airflow?
Does anyone know what CFM the default fans do?
Thanks,

Hi All,
I have 3 Antminer S1's running in conjunction and they are getting a bit loud Unfortunately I have no where else to put them in a living area no matter where you go you can hear them
Has anyone successfully changed to fans that were quieter? If so do they push the same airflow through as the stock ones?
A question as well I noticed both fan connections are the 4 PIN PWM type but the pins are quite close to the edge I've been looking through a lot of fans and its very rare to find one with this connection.. even an adapter is hard to find
My second question would be if I just replaced the fans with a case fan (normal molex connection) Would the unit freak out that it had no fans connected and not turn on?
Hopefully someone can help
Thanks,

Hi,
Interested in the reason for selling these? I have a few and they are running fine and are still profitable..
Are you in the US as well?

So continuing on with my errors..
I know my HW error rate is acceptable on the unit in question But my other two units have green lights on under the LAN connector and the one with the HW error doesn't have it on
They are all mining at 180GHS but is it something I should be worried about? I think it may not be reading the fan/temp properly? The fan is always 400 rpm more than the other units
Thanks,

It doesn't line up properly but the HW error is 6407 What number are you comparing that to to get 0.297% ?

Hi,
I was hoping someone might be able to help I'm currently running 3 x 180GHs Antminer S1's
They are all stock I haven't touched any of the settings on any of them 1 unit though is getting a lot of HW Errors and the Fan isn't spinning up as fast as the other two (although it's still reading roughly the same temp - 48-49C)
I've tried 3 different power supplies and it does the same on all 3 My other two have 0 HW errors and their fans are running at 2600+ rpm
