I have a question

does the monthly luck ever have a chance of going 113%

seems to me the monthly should be pretty close to 100%.

I get it, and by all means mine away
but let say it went to $20USD a coin
hell  shutdown and buy on the open market.

my point is, we are coming to a point where the pace of mining might actually slow down, pick up again, later for sure

but for the first time, network hash rate might actually go down or hold steady.

anyway, might not.

it is fun thinking about it tho.

price of bitcoin crashing is a good thing,  "BIG"  miners will have to shut down until the price improves, at $135 the mongo outfit above just cannot be making money, (just like real world gold and diamond miners do) , which gives the little fish (like me) more chance to mine with their obsolete hardware. As in the real world, when the price improves, as in the real world anywhere from 1 to 15 years from now, they can start up again.

WOW, and i thought my $1000 spent was risky.....

imho.

when your target market is 7 billion people, it can take seconds to advance, and decades to make up the decline.

still,  I keep all the "golddust" I capture ,  for the future.

but my original point was, from a mining perspective, the cost at 600USD a "ton" is just not economical.

;O)

the only thing that would make this hobby "fun" at this time, is if the USD/BTC exchange went top $1200 again.

I blame that moron that ran MT. GoX. for taking back bitcoin 5 to 10 years.

the bottom line is, USD/BTC  < $1200   not going to work.

sorry , just calling a spade a spade.
