2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / How can I convert BUSD to BTC on Binance.us to deposit on Bybit on: March 11, 2021, 03:00:20 AM
Hello awesome Crypto community. I need your help please. I have BUSD on Binance.us that I’m trying to convert to BTC and then transfer to Bybit to trade. I prefer not to use Tether with all that’s going on. The only options of pairs for BUSD are BUSD/USD and BUSD/USDT. The pairs for BTC are: BTC/BUSD, BTC/USD, BTC/USDC, BTC/USDT.

How can I make this happen and what’s my options. This noob thanks you in advance Huh
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Best way to convert BUSD on Binance.us and deposit to Bybit? on: March 11, 2021, 02:25:00 AM
Hello amazing Crypto community. Can anyone be so kind to help this conundrum in my head that this noob can’t seem to figure out?  Huh

I have some BUSD on Binance that I want to deposit into Bybit. They only trading pairs to choose from is BUSD/USD and BUSD/USDT. I don’t really want to use Tether unless I have to (for obvious reasons). The only crypto that I can deposit on Bybit is BTC, ETH, EOS, XRP and USDT. Am I understanding this correctly that my only option would then be to trade my BUSD to USDT and then transfer to Bybit? What are my options? I'd like to convert to BTC and trade with it on Bybit. How is this possible and fees associated?

This noob thanks you tremendously!
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Binance.us: Using their OTC & How to buy USDC? Is it possible? on: February 04, 2021, 01:51:20 AM
Please help. Here’s what I want to do: I plan to fund my account via wire transfer. Once the money hits my account, I want to buy over $10K USDC on Binance.us so I can transfer to my Nano X to be ready to buy some dips; because of the limit amount they’re saying I need to do this via their OTC—fine, no problem; forgive my ignorance but how do I then buy USDC? I don’t see it as an option? I only see USDT which I prefer not to use. If someone could explain step by step for this newbie of newbies how to accomplish this, I would really appreciate it.

After my fiat is deposited into my Binance account and I’m ready to buy my stablecoin, that will incur a fee correct? Then when I want to buy a dip, I’d transfer back to binance to buy whatever crypto and that will incur another fee correct?

Does anyone know generally how long a wire transfer takes? I bank w/Chase.

Thank you for your patience and for forgiving my ignorance.
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Adding BTC/Ledger Live: Native Segwit V. Segwit? on: February 03, 2021, 10:29:08 PM
Adding BTC account in Ledger Live/Nano X. Will be trading on binance.us and Bybit. Which is compatible Native Segwit or Segwit?

I read this and it freaked me out on binance.com (not binance.us)
"BTC, make sure the corresponding platform or wallet supports SegWit. If you choose an unsupported network or incompatible assets, your funds will not be recoverable."

Thanks in advance for all you knowledgeable minds in Cryptoland.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Suggestions: Best Exchange for US Citizens, low fees, "Safe" + Nano X on: January 30, 2021, 01:51:14 AM
Thank you everyone for your help. Through my ignorance, I didn't understand that you're able to transfer from all exchanges: Binance.us/Coinbase/Coinbase Pro to a hardware wallet. That's all I want to be able to do. That being said, if I want to use any of the said exchanges, I don't have to use any 3rd party wallets in order to do so correct?

Also, I'm just waiting to be approved for my Fiat status on Binance.us

Thanks again!

-US Citizen

Coinbase is the largest crypto exchange in the world, located in the US. You also have an option in Binance, but you have to make sure that you are not on a list that includes about a dozen states whose residents cannot open an account there.

-Must issue private keys so I can store on Nano X

You can't import private keys in Nano X, the hardware wallet doesn't work that way. Buy coins, send them in transaction to Nano X.

-No nonsense approval/verification process

Forget that you don’t have to run KYC on a centralized crypto exchange, it’s a thing of the past. For such things you have to go in the direction of decentralized crypto exchanges, and since I've never used any, I can't recommend a specific name - but for information, there's a list here.

Thanks so much for your help. Forgive my ignorance but I just want to be able to transfer any crypto I buy to my Nano X and vice versa back to the exchange to trade or take profits. I was under the impression that in order to do that, you needed to have your private keys issued to you first but I understand now, that’s not correct. With that, I just need an exchange where I’m able. And does that also mean that I have to use an additional 3rd party wallet to do that or do all exchanges allow you to transfer to a hardware wallet or only some do? Thank you kindly again Wink

Hey y'all. Looking for your much-needed help please. There are so many choices. I've also read instances of insanely long approval times. Only looking to hodl BTC & ETH and eventually do a bit of swing/day trades. Looking to fund with Fiat via ACH or wire transfer. I would love to hear and appreciate your knowledge and suggestions for the best exchange to use:

-US Citizen
-As "safe" as "safe" can be
-Low deposit/withdrawal/trading fees
-Must issue private keys so I can store on Nano X
-Also plan to do some swing trades in addition to hodling
-No nonsense approval/verification process

And if you don't mind elaborating, again, in layman's terms for this newbie and any additional information and or steps, processes, 3rd party apps, etc.,  I'd need to do as well.

Thank you kindly! Be safe out there in the world!
9  Other / Beginners & Help / How to keep fiat safe while waiting to buy dips? on: January 02, 2021, 12:18:30 AM
Hello all, I would very much appreciate anyone's help in giving this newbie some much needed help. I want to be ready to buy Bit?s dips. I plan on buying a few Bitcoins. I know keeping fiat on any exchange is not wise while waiting. I have a Nano X and I?ll be using Coinbase. My bank takes 3-5 days for a transfer to be complete. But how am I suppose to be ready to buy dips and keep my fiat safe while it?s sitting on Coinbase? Any knowledge, tips, helpful advice, etc. and even other suggestions for other exchanges or anything related would be much appreciated. Thank you!
