This is a time I wish I was a whale so I could help pump up BTC/USD. But alas, I'm a sardine in the BTC ocean lol I hope we can do the air drop before things worsen over there

Exactly, 1 child per block from now on.
We are working on something to keep the miners securing the blockchain, a multipool would be nice though, but we also need miners on our chain.
Expect an official announcement tomorrow, we have to work on a few things still.
As for the exchanges, keep voting at BTER, and tweet and make some noise people. It's a shame that a coin such as this is not getting the attention it needs. This is a real world project, with real world implications, not just your clone/scam of the day coin.
Yet major exchanges like Bittrex keep listing the flavor of the day wank, tit, whatever-I-was-high-coin and not ours.
Funny, huh?
Ivan you know I love Bter, but their new requirement for 100 BTR/vote is just plain dumb. (wtf Bter, wtf) I can't vote because I don't have BTR anymore - they took the remainder of it when I pulled my BTC out of there. Poloniex, Bittrex, hell even Craptsy - if you're reading this, put CHILD on your voting lists. There's no reason not to. Until then, I'll mine till my cards give out.

Still taking donation @ the public addy right? Stupid me forgot to switch to the official pool last night so I gotta donate some coin.
Yes sir, the one in the OP, same as always. We're in the 1 coin/block phase now, we will update on the airdrop situation soon. We are discussing how to handle the recent Bitcoin price drop, since we don't want to hurt the donation fund with the current exchange rate. By the way, we are on one of the biggest weekly digest magazines from Italy, Panorama. Here's the link to the article: http://www.panorama.it/news/x-children-beneficenza-tecnologia/^^ Sweg. Going to fire up the wallet and donate now

Picking up exchanges. Awesome Looking good. Nice job dev team!

---Community members:---
As you already know, we are contacting exchanges and also placed a bounty in the OP. Getting on the voting lists would be the first step, so I ask of you to collaborate messaging cryptsy and bittrex, as well as bter and others to get us listed. If they see community support, as well as our presentation letter, they will react. The hash rate has been stable and high, and the feedback really positive. There is little reason to refuse the listing, since this coin will bring good volume to the exchange it gets added to.
---Thank you for your continued support!---
Submitted coin request to Poloniex.

Nothing because the coin is fine the way it is. You don't like the name? Don't mine it.

We had a meeting yesterday with Cryptsy security team. CHILD code is being reviewed by them atm, thanks for supporting us. X
Cryptsy is not very good at the moment, strange things happen there, anyway you should also try bittrex, i think its the best exchange now +1 Cryptsy is awful IMHO. Why are you supporting this shitty coin and Trolling on good coins like Jackpot Coin ? lol @ Jackpotcoin POD and add Bittrex??? anymore???
+1 Or perhaps poloniex?

Me and my friends are waiting! I have trust in a long time member!
Pro-tip: Bitcointalk member accounts are routinely sold for other people to use. Don't simply assume a 'long time' member is the same person behind the computer screen that originally registered the account. That may be true, but Ivan is a member you can trust. That's a guarantee. He is after all the one who got me started mining in the first place months ago. I'll be waiting for the launch Ivan

Sorry for the lack of updates, we have the developers working on the code. We should be able to release it soon, but we don't want to leave no strings attached.
I understand this is proving problematic. You said yesterday you wanted everyone to have the same fair chance thus why you were relaunching today with a set time everyone could be ready. There is currently no set time and many who were ready have now had to go off to bed due to the delay. You should finish code entirely and run it on testnet with every variation tested. Then set a date for launch and post it. The window today was missed. +1 +1 +1 There's no rush. Mishaps happen, not much one can do about it. I imagine you are a little stressed Ivan, but you & the devs are doing well.

Status?
Are we live? New Windows wallet yet? I get a 404 at the x-children site for Windows-qt
If not sweet, my GPU's still have to finish the last Folding@Home Work Units so that'll keep 'em busy until launch.

Bummer Ivan, but bugs are to be expected somewhere anyway. Looking forward to the launch tomorrow!

We'll fix this issue and relaunch. This is a fair launch and a serious project. I deleted some really inapropriate comments about the children in Gaza. Let's keep it civil, and please, don't disrespect those who are suffering the horrors of war.
https://www2.coinmine.pl work! Why restart?

Are the nodes ok?
Wallet is saying no block source, yet I'm seeing 8 connections to peers. I suppose the pools are affected as well.

Password added to the OP.
Let's do this. @orgi666 You have an issue with that? Greedy greedy...

and!! if you read everything thouroughly, this guy is undoubtly NOT a professional programmer.
Well shit, if he's not a professional programmer, why hasn't his exchange lost any coins? If you went to a store and a clerk talked to you like that, would you 'LOL?'
This guy is a customer. He needed help. The service should help him.
No I'd punch the fucker. Yeah RS shouldn't have treated you like that, but that doesn't make Mcxnow a fraud exchange.......

I once had a similar problem at mcxnow.
I kept entering the wrong password. Found the right one. Case solved.
didnt work for me. i guess their genius developer had some corruption in the code. he should have heard of valgrind Corruption in the codeing? I've never had an issue @ Mcxnow. You can't call Mcxnow a "Fraud" because you can't login because you forgot your password. (Did you consider that someone could have brute-forced your password too??) IIRC not a single coin has gone missing from Mcxnow. That speaks volumes in a time where it seems every other exchange has coins "go missing" (I'm looking at your Gox & Cryptorush!) IMO the best exchange. Fast, secure.. It's great. That chat log still has me LOLing

Okay, I'm using (According to the debug screen): v0.8.6-beta Which has OpenSSL 1.0.1c 10 May 2012 Never clicked on any "payment" thingys and I've only received BTC and sent BTC from it. My bitcoin.conf is empty. Never heard of this "rpcssl" option so I've never used it. Am I good? Or must I update to 0.9.1? Thanks guys
