2  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 10 Antminer S2s - $300 each on: October 14, 2014, 11:38:54 AM
Guys - I have received literally dozens of PMs and e-mails and so far it has been a monumental waste of my time... People flaking, asking if still available, why I am selling, if I will ship, etc.  I apologize if I missed anyone.

BTC > $400 now.  My price is still the same at $300 per machine.  I will not hold machines for anyone.  I am available to do a deal tonight, tomorrow and Thursday.  Time slots from 7:30 pm - 10:30pm.  I live in Stamford, CT 06092.

You are not considering shipping these out anywhere, yet. You are still only looking at local sales, correct?

Don't really want to ship.  I refuse to use paypal or escrow.  I also hate ebay. If I were to ship, only payments I would accept would be bank wire, USPS money order or BTC upfront.  I work M-F from 5:30am to 7:30pm so I could only ship on Saturday.  I still have all the boxes, so if somebody local wants to come take all 10 units and resell them, by all means.  Until then, I will keep dropping my prices until the market clears.

Exactly bro...YOUR USER NAME...NOT MINE! Please remove the pics with MY username asap or I will be reporting to the mods. The last thing I need is to be associated with someone whom doesn't understand basic english...my statement was clear and concise.
Again, please remove the pic with my screenname/username/Bitcointalk ID from YOUR post/thread.
Thanks and good day.

and FYI --- a DIGITALLY modified picture does not constitute as substitution for a PHYSICAL sheet of paper with YOUR Bitcointalk.org username AND date, anyone can grab a picture off the internet and add their username to the pic with Microsoft Paint.

Picture has been removed in compliance with your request.  I did not modify any picture digitally.  That is a genuine picture.  I would be happy to email or txt both pictures to anyone to verify.  I can also take another picture with a multiple 3-d objects or even create a movie.  Or maybe I should just post my entire bitcoin wallet online so you can see my mining history?

This thread has gone from absurd to nuts.  I have repeatedly told people that I don't want anyone sending me money or BTC.  My goal was for a local transaction where any buyer can visually inspect the goods before I accept any payment.

please post your bitcoin talk id w. this pic.

thanks.

Bitcoin ID?

A time-stamp pic....Your Bitcointalk.org user ID on a sheet of paper with the miners pictured and the current date...helps prove you have the gear and are not scamming.

When I get home tonight, I will retake picture with a sheet a paper with your name on it.  I would be a pretty crappy scam artist if my goal was to cheat anyone in a FACE to FACE transaction for CASH.

New Price = $450 each

OMG people, stop the absurdity! Read the quote above. He said he would retake the picture with a sheet of paper with YOUR name on it, mstrongbow.
And then, if you just use common sense and read this guy's 15 total posts, you would know he's had these since May 1, 2014 with these S2s (see the post where he couldn't figure out how to set them up) and then had problems with 7 of them. I don't know if you people are ignorant or just lazy?

Yes, I did have a problem where most of my machines stopped hashing.  After troubleshooting for a few days, I was advised to pull out the paperclip and put it back in again.  The PSU's fired right up after that.  Have not had any shutdowns since them.

If you think the picture is faked, I can take another one.  Any requests?  I am thinking I can set-up a table in front of the miners with a few bottles of scotch, a 338 Lapua suppresed sniper rifle, and my 3 year old son playing with his train cars?

I don't want to deal with hassles of international shipment and payments.  My preference is to meet in person and deal in CASH or BTC.

Anyone in the NYC / CT area?  I live in Stamford, CT.  I will pay good money USD or BTC if you can come fix my S2 miners.
20  Bitcoin / Mining support / 7 out of my 10 Antminer S2's just died - Will pay Cash or BTC if you can fix on: June 29, 2014, 02:15:33 PM
7 out of the 10 that I have just died.  I thought maybe I threw a breaker but electrical is fine.  I tried swapping power strips, power cords, etc.  Very odd how 7 of them would go down within 24 hours?  It is like power supply is dead in the S2.

I have unplugged every possible connection between the PSU and motherboard and reconnected:

1) One unit powered back up but never started hashing.  Then tried to reboot and was dead
2) One never started again
3) One unit powered up screen was just blank and then on reboot was dead
4 & 5 & 6 & 7) didn't bother trying

I am at a total loss.  Have my PSU's gone bad? Should I try getting a new PSU?  Would you recommend replacing with a better PSU?  If so, which?
