“In a time of deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.”   (G. Orwell)

Awesome another dick using quotes. You must be the same guy that sticks up for GAW in the other thread using the same MO.

I prefer a cautious approach to my investments and yes, the 'locked-in' part of the whole staking process just puts me off entirely.

I can understand this point of view because paycoin is so new... but certificate of deposits are nothing new, and are generally considered to be some of the most conservative/cautious investments you can make.  And that is pretty much what a hashstaker is... it's a CD  A high-yield CD... but nonetheless... a CD.

Lol, a CD is backed by a bank with billions in assets. A cashstaker is backed by Josh. Ouch.
technically u can sell ur hashstakers with coin inside but atm its the fiat reserve causeing doubt

It's irrelevant because contracts in crypto are a joke. Hashstakers are backed by unicorn poop.

I think the 2nd gen thing is the last part of this ponzi sceme.
The bubble will pop in mid January.
Save whatever you can and run away from ltcgear.

How come you think this?

My guess is he is pissed about waiting for payout and this is another flame account. Hence, the name 'flame1012'  Cheesy. Seriously though, the launch of 2nd gen miners will be the next big test in LTCgear's legitimacy. Blackarrow, Avalon, BFL, KNC, and many others have failed miserably at this 2nd gen step. I am betting on LTCgear delivering in Jan. However, others will need to do their own research and come to their own conclusions based on how comfortable they are with the level of risk involved.

Yep one of the many new accounts bitching up a storm. I really hope he kills that referral program soon because it can't happen soon enough.

If this guy's calculations are correct (So the final PoW Block with have almost 170,000 XPY reward in it?), then the race for the final block is going to be, hmm, crazy?

https://hashtalk.org/topic/23822/so-the-final-pow-block-with-have-almost-170-000-xpy-reward-in-it

... but most probably they'll change the rules and won't let it happen ... or not ... who knows Wink

Come on, the pools will be shut down right before that happens.

What about this LTC dump? Sad

I bought some shares recently and the price plummet, fml.

Well, everything s sinking BTC, LTC, alts. This has been a really bad year for crypto in general.
Let us hope 2015 ll be much, much better.

Yeah, you would think tech savvy people in Russia and Argentina would be all over cryptos right now.

Anyone receive Dual Mod conversions?

I agree, it's clear the Ruble is in trouble and even with the latest bump up they are still having serious issues. If you compare the BTC/Ruble chart to the USD chart you can see there has been some effect but it hasn't bled through all currencies yet: https://btc-e.com/exchange/btc_rur
747  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: December 16, 2014, 04:50:21 AM
I'm new to WestHash, please excuse me if these questions have been answered already:
1) Does KnCMiner Neptune work ok on NiceHash?
2) Why are the SHA-256 payouts on NiceHash so much better than mining Bitcoin recently?

2) Paycoin

I may have missed it, but who handles the exchange from cyrpto to fiat for paybase merchants. Like now, coinbase handles converting BTC into fiat for overstock.com etc. at time of purchase. I mean, amazon is'nt going to except actual paycoin.... someone's converting for them to cash'ola lol

Think of it like this. Amazon knows nothing about you, what you are buying or paycoin. You are simply telling gaw you want something from amazon. They have your paycoin in their account, so they convert it to fiat on their site and then make the purchase with fiat using their amazon account. They will have the order shipped to you. It's like drop shipping almost. The only thing bad is you lose almost all the benefits of Amazon and gaw can f*ck up your purchase in a countless number of ways. You have to deal with gaw for all customer support, returns, etc. I don't think ANYONE is that stupid actually now that I think about it.
k, so basically gaw is their own cash reserve banker, They actually are the ones paying amazon etc. and deducting that equivalent in paycoin from your wallet, well, they handle the transaction. So no coinbase type 3rd intermediate party assuming all the risk, just good old gaw only. Interesting. thx  Cheesy

What about your Prime membership if you have one? What about returns? Completely ruins the Amazon experience if you do not go through them.
749  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: December 16, 2014, 02:18:39 AM
Meh. I will say this though, I rented some hash from Nicehash today and doubled what I put in which is pretty cool. Margins are thinning though so I'm bowing out for now.
750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hosted Scrypt hashpower provider! on: December 15, 2014, 09:31:56 PM
I wouldn't even be salty about this if they just had a freaking market to trade Mh or Gh on so I can get out.

Damn near every other cloud mining service out there offers this, including AMHash which I am enjoying and actually making decent payouts from at the moment.

Yeah a market would be nice that's for sure.
751  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: December 15, 2014, 09:27:52 PM
Gaw should have looked at how Hashprofit.com launched there coin,up 150% since launch in November. The only coin backed by hash.

Yeah but GAW doesn't care. I mine some profitcoin myself, I get just 1 coin per day but it's better than nothing!
752  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: December 15, 2014, 05:43:24 PM
This is one of the reason I actually respect your point of view. Both sides talk a lot of shit. Out of this thread 99% is someone beating their chest and name calling. They think calling someone by their name is insulting. So his name is Homero are we really in elementary school that we make fun of someone’s name? There are a lot of flaws with GAW. And I mean a lot. I have spoken out against them by using fact and not name calling. I also have supported them. This whole paycoin well, I am still not sure what to think about it. They have made so many mistakes it is hard to believe they can pull this off but if they do have the money backing it and they do pull it off you would be mad that you didn’t jump in right away. Just like all of the people who missed BTC early. Am I saying this is going to be as big as BTC? I do not know, I think it would be hard for it to reach BTC however if they have what they say it could because they would then have the finical backing other coins do not have. There are a lot of ifs and GAW needs to get better at a lot of things. You can use paycoin but stick to facts of why you think it will fail not I am better than you and your name sounds funny. Or everyone that follows GAW is mindless idiots that are just a part of their cult. Yes there are Die hard paycoin fans just like there are die hard BTC supporters.

Balanced viewpoints are rare around here, thanks

We have invited Josh to come and have a discussion with us but won't.  Most of the HT people come in here and just start spamming that we are spreading FUD and don't bring anything to the discussion.  Reddit even called for Josh to do an AMA on /r/bitcoin but Josh posted on HT that why would he want to discuss anything with trolls.  Easiest answer why Josh won't face the trolls is cause he can't control what is being posted and is afraid that they will catch him in a lie.

He popped in a couple of weeks ago and he answered some questions but several of the answers amounted to nothing, e.g., changing the fees.

It`s not all about ROI, what happens to supporting the coin you like?

I totally not make any roi when LTC stared, i did lot of mining, knowing my power usage had to be huge, and no sight on roi ever. Still i supported the coin i liked so much.

Huh? This isn't a sporting event.
754  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: December 15, 2014, 03:55:34 PM
isn't it great that we who were forced to mine hashpoints instead of btc have to sit and watch all this profit taking because we can't convert to paycoins yet. it will be dumped into the ground before we can get our profits.

So true

I am allready following Bitcointalk for a few months now, but never registered... But Clevermining, don't you think it's enough now?? You guys are messing up the chain constantly by putting that much hashes in for a few f****** minutes.... Getting coins cheap and sell them UNDERVALUED!!!!!! WTF is wrong, why can't you assholes see what you are doing with our beloved coin?HuhHuhHuhHuhHuh??

I believe the people should start showing themselves in this topic...

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH ALLREADY

Blah blah blah, this is how the game is played son.

SURPRISE SURPRISE  Shocked

They paid !!
It's a bit under 10% of what I was expecting, but it's still something and I'm still hashing too

Yeah I just some minor amount as well.

i dont think he'll convert them. why would he?

Well conversion was his original plan but the timeline was accelerated so he started selling pre-orders for Gen 2. I think they'll be maintained until no longer profitable then they will be gone.

What 7 week ROI? its 0.015 per 1- units not 0.15? What you saying or am I not understanding?

275/350=.7857 btc purchase price
.7857/.015=52.38 days
52.38/7=7.48 weeks

0.015 / week !!
Lol! I'm fucking tired, you guys are right. Yeah, this sucks.
