After a successful month of March, we are here to give you an update on the key achievements the team have delivered in April.
Let’s take a look into major milestones and in what the team been doing in the past 30 days:

Unido partners with AllianceBlock to bridge Traditional Finance with DeFi
Unido is pleased to announce a partnership with AllianceBlock ($ALBT), who are building the first globally compliant decentralized capital market. The AllianceBlock Protocol is a decentralized, blockchain-agnostic layer 2 that automates the process of converting any digital or crypto asset into a bankable product.

What this means: As part of the partnership, Unido will utilize AllianceBlock’s Liquidity Mining as a Service (LMaaS) product, which allows users to easily provide liquidity and manage their positions. Upon feature release, this will also include Single Sided Liquidity Provisioning (SSLP), which will enable stakers to stake solely $UDO and benefit from the same rewards as providing dual-pair liquidity.



Unido Product Roadmap Q2 2021

We are pleased to reveal the product roadmap for Q2 of 2021 and provide an insight for what’s in store for the Unido ecosystem. There are even more exciting features we will be announcing later in 2021 to continue evolving our Unido Insto and Unido EP solution product suite. So stay tuned for more.

What this means: Unido team is not taking any rest after the successful token sale in March. Along with weekly updates, there is constant development and marketing going on behind the scenes. Uniqly Will integrate chainlink VRF for our limited collection of NFT T-shirt drop.

On the Uniqly platform, anyone will be able to create their own unique landing page and list their products, which are either created in our generator or deposited via escrow. Users can then trade these NFT tokens backed by real-world items in our digital marketplace. This allows users to easily trade physical products, even those that were not created in our Generator, including clothing, works of art, collectibles, and more. Development Progress

Over the month of April we made significant strides in our development progress. We completed 85% of the Ontology EVM-integrated design, which will be fully compatible with Ethereum contract ecology after completion.
We also completed 75% of the latest Layer 2 technology, which explores the integration of Ethereum Layer 2 on the Ontology MainNet

Product Development

This month we released ONTO v3.8.2, adding and optimizing the functions for Ethereum privacy transaction and high-speed transaction.
We officially integrated the webpage plug-in version of ONTO cross-chain wallet with Wing Finance.
ONTO is included as a default wallet option in the popular dApp HyperJump on the Binance Smart Chain.
ONTO held community activities with DeFi ecosystem partners OpenOcean, Multiplier, DeFiner, MDEX, and ApeSwap.

Sentinel Initiates Bandwidth Sharing on the Cosmos IBC Testnet



Sentinel is pleased to announce that bandwidth sharing will become available for testing on the Sentinel Turing-4 Cosmos IBC-enabled testnet starting in May. This transition marks a significant leap forward for the development of decentralized applications (dApps) that can be built on top of the Sentinel protocol as part of its up-and-coming provably private Web3 stack.
Sentinel has supported Cosmos from the very beginning. Cosmos IBC, which went live in February, enables dApps building on the Cosmos blockchain to interoperate with other blockchains in a fast and seamless way. As a result of the testnet migration, Sentinel users will be able to take advantage of the underlying Tendermint byzantine fault tolerant (BFT) protocol to enable cross-blockchain compatibility with instant finality.

Blockchains that use similar consensus algorithms, such as Proof-of-Stake (PoS), will be able to communicate with each other via Cosmos IBC using the Tendermint protocol. This alignment empowers dApps that build on top of the Sentinel protocol to make use of its provably private decentralized communications network.

In a statement about what the scalability and utility of Cosmos IBC means for the Sentinel network at large, co-founder and CEO of Exidio, a contributor to the Sentinel dVPN Protocol codebase, Dan Edlebeck said “We envision Sentinel having millions of daily users as we launch our whitelabel tech. Cosmos IBC will allow us to accomodate any amount of users to the Sentinel protocol through horizontal scalability. The focus being ease of use means we will allow any kind of payment that Sentinel dVPN nodes want to accept. In other words, any IBC compatible coin can potentially become a way to pay for Sentinel’s dVPN services.”

Echoing Edlebeck’s sentiment, Peng Zhong, the CEO of Tendermint said, “The permissionless transfer of tokens’ value across chains is a historic moment on the timeline to a valuable internet of blockchains. We will continue to focus on building the Cosmos Hub as the heart of the interchain — enabling trade and connecting politically sovereign chains to create a new paradigm for economic exchange. We have a defined roadmap in place to realize this future, and will continue to develop services for the Cosmos Hub that will create immense value for all the chains that connect to it.”

Sentinel is also very happy to be integrated with Keplr, an interchain wallet. The Keplr wallet integration will make the broader Sentinel network IBC-ready right after the Cosmos Hub is upgraded and right in time for the launch of Gravity DEX, a decentralized exchange bringing DeFi to Cosmos.

The Chainlink Community Grant Program provides financial resources to the many development teams and researchers building a more functional, accessible, and socially impactful Chainlink Network. As part of our Social Impact Initiative centered around our mission of creating a more economically fair world using smart contracts, we actively support projects that share this goal of applying cryptographically enforced systems in a manner that is driven less by vague brand promises and more by the value that institutions and individuals actually provide. As part of furthering this initiative, we’re excited to award a grant to support the UNICEF Innovation Fund, a pooled fund designed to finance startups building early stage, open-source technology that address key global challenges; and the UNICEF CryptoFund, a new financial vehicle allowing UNICEF to receive, hold, and disburse cryptocurrency. The Chainlink Community Grant will go towards supporting the startups building blockchain-based solutions that UNICEF works with by offering funding, mentorship, and access to our expertise.
Some of the specific objectives of the Chainlink’s grant to support the UNICEF Innovation Fund and CryptoFund are:
Finance early-stage, free, and open-source blockchain-enabled software, specifically designed to benefit emerging markets by fostering technological leaps that lead to major advancements in overall quality of life.
Provide domain-specific expertise and additional resources to support blockchain-focused startups working with UNICEF’s CryptoFund.
Accelerate blockchain as a force for good by expanding the capabilities of startups building solutions for populations where innovative applications are most needed.
Launched in 2016, UNICEF’s Innovation Fund enables UNICEF to learn from and shape markets of emerging technology by investing in and supporting companies in spaces such as blockchain, virtual and augmented reality, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Together, the CryptoFund and Innovation Fund provide both fiat and cryptocurrency investments to early-stage startups.
By contributing to the UNICEF CryptoFund, Chainlink will be able to further support early-stage companies who are scaling their operations and increase the amount of people who can benefit from social good projects. Some of the initiatives the CryptoFund supports with its funding include applying AI analytics to public services in Argentina, making sensitive clinical data portable and private in Mexico, using an interactive voice response platform in Cambodia to educate people about Covid-19, and improving food and vaccine distribution in India.
Support for the UNICEF CryptoFund is just one of the many social impact initiatives being supported by the Chainlink Grant Program, ranging from helping smallholder farmers get crop insurance and increasing transparency in state lotteries to incentivizing smart-contract based government improvements through hackathon prizes and funding education programs to advance global knowledge on the power of blockchain technology. We remain fully committed to building an economically fair world and plan to continue supporting developers who want to apply hybrid smart contracts in a manner that enables major technological leaps in emerging markets and drastically reduce systemic risk within established markets.
