You got a good deal at $800 to be honest. I sold a partial titan set which hashed more than that for probably $900 - $950 a month ago.  The L3s are not vaporware sell the miner and be done with it.

You do not want to be in the position of the miner depreciating significantly so much that to ship it cost more than its value.

and pump goes on...
So I'll have to wait untill things settle down a bit
/ Im glad that I kept my rule of trading "no BTC shorting" ...  Cheesy If I shorted, I'd be close to margin call by now

Tell me about it.  Broke my rule as well to try to profit on the seqwit2x uncertainty in the market.  Mother BTC was very disappointed and spanked the hell out of me.
Lesson learnt

Frank Rosental, could you give a short review? Are you satisfied? I /might/ be intersted in one
of the paintings, but first it'd be nice to have a recommendation of a customer.

I have bought two pieces from him in the past.  bitcoin peaks and an abstract painting. They are good pieces and he is trustworthy.

A price breaking upward through ~$2460 or so with RISING buy volume/pressure would signal a trend reversal. We would need to break the pattern of lower highs and lower lows into the next month.

Otherwise, we are still firmly in a downtrend. Because gravity. Also, overall crypto market cap still decreasing.

Still relevant... hasn't broken $2460 to the upside. Buying volume has tapered off. Also notice that perfect 'V' on Stamp. The whale(s) that drove the price down to 1830, drove it right back up to where it was before. Overall sentiment has not changed.

I feel very much abused by these whale(s). What direction do you think the market will go?   I was starting to feel that BIP 91 was a sure thing but not so sure any more.  Thoughts ?

My opinion is down. Macro-bots appear to already be trading a downtrend since the 2980 top. Possibility of getting SegWit is mostly priced in, maybe a short term rise (second of a double top), but it'll be a bull trap and won't last.

Thanks for sharing your opinion. This was a bad time to do margin trading with such uncertainty. Lesson learnt

Could you remind the lazy ones of us(me) what the titan power consumption is per cube?

Each titan set uses  1200 - 1300W  PSU. They typically come with 4 cubes so from 300W - 325W per cube

If you are trying to pull a preorder scheme than obliviously escrow wouldn't be your friend.

1) Nothing is on pre-order in our store currently. Yet, there is a plan for the new mining GPU's soon.
2) Escrow is not our friend because it means transfer of funds at around a month later. Sorry, we won't be shipping any products at our cost, as slow the sales may get. Please do not expect small business or individual opportunities from us because we just started selling miners. We do have our own funds to continue business in the coming months, whatever may come.

You may only see a discount in the near future on Mining Cave equipment due to cards getting obsolete.

Thank you for your interest.

You have no reputation and have no interest in doing escrow on the forum.  If you are a legitimate  seller and would like to start earning users trust your only option is to offer escrow on the forum.  Other than that only clueless first time miners will trust sending coins directly to you.

The faster you ship the miner the quicker it will be released from escrow.
178  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Checking Interest for Titan Cubes(2X Set) on: July 08, 2017, 09:29:11 PM
Where are you based?

Also, I appreciate you're going to get a lot of this, but asking eBay prices is a bit much for the forums. Especially since they are just listed at that price and haven't sold?

I'd be interested in these at the right price I think. Look forward to hearing from you.

Definitely not asking eBay prices for sure. Just let me know your offer.   These will be shipped from Maryland, US.
179  Economy / Computer hardware / Checking Interest for Titan Cubes(2X Set) on: July 07, 2017, 08:03:48 AM
Hi Guys & Gals,

Would like to see if there is any interest.

The titans are currently under clocked to keep temperatures under control but you can get 300 MH/s on each set. They seem to be going for about $2700 per set on eBay.http://www.ebay.com/itm/3x-KNC-Titan-in-good-condition-850MH-HC1RM1SH3-HC1RM1SH9-HC1RM2SH5-/322580505546?hash=item4b1b4be3ca:g:zoYAAOSwwvZZXbV5 .

NOTE: I am not asking for eBay prices. Have sold many miners back on here in the past so I am in touch with reality. Just ping me your offer for the titans. As I mentioned in the subject checking interest.

Will also include the PSUs that power these titans.  Please pm any offers if you are interested in purchasing 3X set of cubes
Will do escrow through OgNasty.

Titan 1 - 5 cubes  | Can hash at 300 MH/s
Titan 2 - 4 cubes  | Can hash at 300 HH/s
Titan 3 - 3 cubes  | Freshly repaired by lightfoot these cubes has at 170 MH/s SOLD

* Titans 1 and Titan 2 will not be shipped until end of August when I get to go to the private colo. However once the funds is secured in escrow or received I will configure to miners to mine for you.  Have done this before in the past.  Please see previous posts for sale and trust.

So I put "50" in the box for customize fan speed, and the unit won't start up.  If I remove it, it starts back up no problem.  I just want to quiet the thing down a bit, any ideas?
Is the L3+ fan as noisy as the s9 or T9? Would it be suitable for home mining?

The fan isn't that loud, its some kind of tunnel noise that the airflow makes going through the machine, not totally sure how to get it quieter though.

Has anyone else been able to reduce the fan noise anyway?

Anyone had success in reducing the noise level for the L3+s ?
