81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sweetbridge : A blockchain-based protocol stack for supply chains on: January 03, 2018, 02:00:34 PM
It seems that BridgeCoin was posted by CryptoBridge first regardless if  SweetBridge is a well established team.  BridgeCoin is being used publicly by another project already.  it will just be confusing for their users and others to have 2 BridgeCoins.    The term BridgeCoin is not novel as it was used more than 3 years ago as well.

In any case it is already popular and associated with CryptoBridge regardless of SweetBridges pedigree
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NODECOIN [ND] - Masternodes on: January 03, 2018, 01:22:08 PM
People rent rigs via mining rig rentals that can't be cancelled.  You launched prematurely and had others waste time and funds renting hardware to hash nodecoin. It seem you did not think about this properly or was just not aware that asics existed for X13 which took you by surprise.

A lot of folks just left the rentals to mine since it was already paid for. Additional there are folks that bought Nodecoin OTC.  To avoid a fall out it would be best to properly announce a fork and swap all who have received node coins up to the 4th of January.

How does one do fraudulent mining by the way? Outside of an attempt to attack the network with 51% hashing power which would not be the case here

Also for the community and transparency outline all the issues that you found with the initial NodeCoin launch.

Be careful of installing these precompiled wallets when they do not provide the source on Github.  Even though they did a premine it seems with not providing that they intend to also mine the first 10K blocks.

Source is now present on Github

Good luck with the project
84  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Any solutions to the bolt-on accounting system that was removed? on: January 01, 2018, 06:10:43 PM

85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]★CryptoBridge★BCO★🔹Decentralized EXchange 📈RELEASED NOW BETA🔹 on: December 31, 2017, 03:48:50 PM
was 44 bco some days ago, now is set at 12..i dont know how it is calculated

Bitshares network charges a flat fee (61 BTS) to create a vesting schedule that is used by CryptoBridge to create a staking position.  As BCO increases in value it is adjusted downwards to match this fee paid to the network
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ABJCoin SCAM Project! on: December 27, 2017, 05:15:03 PM
To be honest in the first fork they did not compensate miners 1:1 that had more than >50K ABJ fairly mined.  They wanted to only give 500 ABJ which was unfair and not a 1:1 exchange.  This is their third fork.   You won't be getting your ABJ or if you should have spent money to buy ABJ it is gone since they are not interested in having you or anyone else hold a significant amount of ABJ  since it removes the control of price out of their hands.

They will always claim hack when anything goes wrong. Lets wait for the other reason in 2018.   They are not worth wasting time or emotions on. Just look for another ALT to invest in. They know they have been dishonest and can only hide behind their own words of "we gave back 1:1".

Guess everybody else that did not get 1:1 are hackers and just attacking ABJ. What a joke.  Anybody that invests in ABJ deserves to be scammed at this point.  Sorry about your loss though

Hakers all around. You can also search for when they did the first secret fork. Lot of folks ABJ just disappeared.  But hey they are being "hacked" [sarcasm] Just cut all losses and move on
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ABJCOIN |Decentralized Blockchain Solution To facilitate Commerce In Africa on: December 26, 2017, 06:37:29 PM
For me the swap was ok, they returned me the coins I had and withrawed it to my new wallet.

They returned only to those who had small wallets!
Everyone who has large sums - they robbed!

Here's my wallet!

That's at what prices I bought:

After the purchase, I wrote about this in the general chat telegram:

If they offered me to return Bitcoin or at the price for which I have now - I would have agreed.
How can you trust them Huh

Do not buy, read this topic.
This project is SCAM! - All here, we're going to all whom they robbed! I posted the information there, look!

You won't be getting it back. This is their third fork now I believe. The first fork the removed all ABJ that miners had accumulated. As mentioned before if they do not control a majority of the ABJ then they have no control over the price and therefore cannot give their naive investors the $5 in ABJ price that they promise.

Just cut your looses and move on or save all the chats and other information and expose them to prevent others from being scammed.  They should be doing another fork within 3 months based on the current track record, rinse and repeat

Desktop wallet/app doesn't work either...what's going on?

Works fine for me.  Select another node if it says  Failed to sync

What do I see (

It says it on the page. The time on your local desktop is incorrect.  The time and date must be correct and synced

Coin looks interesting. is there a slack or discord group? Also is mining/PoW still active?

No POW has finished was open from July - December 2017

The link was on their website if you looked

Am I reading this right that it costs 21 BCO just to open a staking position??  That's $30!  Are the rewards worth that kind of fee if you have less than 10k coins?

Yeah it is quite a hurdle. I did the math after the first day. 1 million $ traffic daily and like 5 million bco are staked. My share would have been 1000 bco (staking for a year with 100% bonus). In my calculation I needed 1 quarter of a year to get just the fee back.

So if you stake with 10k you should be fine. Furthermore you just have to hope that the volume gains track massively, then everything is possible.

this is the thing, maybe it's not worth today but it can change quite a lot if the DEX keeps growing.

This would only occur to as professional trader:

(1)  Traders need cash and liquidity... to create liquidity for others.

(2)  Cryptobridge is trying to attract traders in a super competitive market.

(3)  So the Bitshares/Steem Dev copies the LEAST POPULAR feature from Steem = "time lock" for staking

(4)  Twitter miners may be hyping BCO, but no serious trader would "time lock" their capital for 1 year. Ever.

(5)  I've done about 100 trades on CryptoBridge, I'm supposed KEEP WORKING so some lazy staker gets the payouts?

Don't make assumptions for others.

A few "serious traders" have locked significant capital for 1 year because they believe in the future value of the DEX. We will be at an advantage when the 1 year period expires and the BCO is now unlocked while we still benefit from the 1 year bonus.

The masses ignored BTC but are now scrabbling today, they also had their doubts but if history prove anything is that early adopters are always rewarded. The same will happen with CryptoBridge and BCO.  To each their own

92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Profit Sharing Projects on: December 17, 2017, 02:08:27 PM
CryptoBridge using BridgeCoin is one of if not the best revenue sharing decentralized exchange.

They did not do an ICO, so you could have mined in the early days and are really delivery on their milestones when compared to other projects that were funded via ICO.  Definitely 1 for long term hold.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]★CryptoBridge★BCO★🔹Decentralized EXchange 📈RELEASED NOW BETA🔹 on: December 17, 2017, 02:01:46 PM
Wow, $400k volume in last 24h? New record? We are waiting for next step - adding more new coins and next milestone - $1M daily volume.

And after just 3 days it happens... keep it up!

Where is that data about volume?

Do we need to keep wallet open in order to receive dividends just like PoS?

Or we just need to lock funds?

No. All you need to do is send your BCO to the DEX and set it to stake which locks the funds for your specified duration.  They have a tutorial on their medium
