1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinTracking - Profit/Loss Portfolio and Tax Reporting for Digital Currencies on: May 12, 2018, 01:49:49 AM
First of all, thank you bitcointalk.org - a highlight of my visits here is spending 5 minutes doing the endless verification captchas. What fun!
Are there really that many bots who want to establish accounts here that it is worth making it such an unpleasant experience to login here?

Anyway - based on the lack of response to questions on this page, it appears that cointracking.info does not offer much useful cs.
Why would anyone opt for a paid account when the cs takes more than 5 days for a response, per the Support page on your website?
You refer people here but no cs responses here either it seems.

Tax season ended a month ago, but still no fast support?

This is a support request I just sent them - Perhaps some of the users here can help me - would be appreciated.

"1) I am on https://cointracking.info/enter_coins.php

It would be most helpful - I would say essential - to be able to see price per BTC for Buy/Sell on each line.

Why isn't that available?

Where can I see what your software is valuing the Buy/Sell per BTC price of the BTC per line?

2) I am entering the Trading Fee on each line.

a) It would also be essential to be able to see this when reviewing the page at

https://cointracking.info/enter_coins.php.

Where can I see the amounts I entered for Trading Fee?

b) Does your software incorporate the Trading Fee into the price per BTC (as it should) - i.e., add the Trading Fee to the Buy price and/or subtract it from the Sell price?"

Thank you.

Happy to help as much as I can!
Still wait to show us Cloudbet's license?

game-protect - I believe you are well intentioned, but a license is - sadly - meaningless.

Ask people here about other licensed books which have gone under, such as Aces Gold.

Unless the licensing agency is going to make good if the book goes under - and NONE of them will do this - it is meaningless.
It's only function is to reap some money for the government of whatever country the book is located in.

Hi all,

If anyone has any questions or feedback about Cloudbet, please do let me know.

I am here to resolve any issues you may be having with our book, and also to feedback any suggested improvements to our site/processes to make everyone's betting experience the most enjoyable it can be.

If you would like more information about Cloudbet, feel free to visit our ANN thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=333552

or reach out to me directly.

Thanks,
Peter @ Cloudbet

Peeps - You've been much too easygoing in your response to "Peter".

Beginning with post #2609 on 11-21-17 - FIVE MONTHS AGO - I tried contacting Cloudbet.
After numerous tries, and numerous failed logins, and numerous times their software said I'd be sent a Change of Password form which never arrived, and numerous emails to their non"Support"  - NOTHING. No response.

Now "Peter" pops in Five Months Later, with no acknowledgement (and apparently no knowledge) of why Cloudbet is an "F" book due to lack of response - not only to myself but to Peeps and a few other posters who had the same lack of response.

He doesn't even realize that Cloudbet is "F" rated, as he doesn't mention it or ask you about it.

It seems most likely that the owner of this non-functional failed book turned it over to "Peter" with a "Take the keys, see if you can milk it" attitude.

"Peter's" post is not reassuring in the least.
This book is an "F" "Avoid".

Is anyone using this book currently? Please post if so.

Peeps Place 11-24-17 -  "They will definitely be downgraded. I'll wait until Monday."

Summary -

Cloudbet's "Forgot your password?" does not work - no reset ever sent after about 6 attempts on different days.
No response to my emails beginning 13 days ago.
I assume you've received no response for 9 days.

Shouldn't this make them an "F" at this point?

Zero customer support, software for reset password doesn't work.

What more does it take to say they are non-functional?

I'm going to reach out to them one more time. It would be nice to at least hear what they have to say.

6 more days since you reached out to them one more time = 15 days for you waiting for a response and 19 days for me.

What's going on? Still no downgrade? Still no response?

Cloudbet downgraded to C-. I'll reach out to then again and if there's no reply, another downgrade will be issued.

"Cloudbet downgraded to C-. I'll reach out to then again and if there's no reply, another downgrade will be issued."

Have you heard from them?

It is now 22 days since you began trying to get a response from them and you've made at least 3 attempts, perhaps more.

It is now 26 days since I started trying to get a response and likewise 26 days and multiple attempts to get their "Did you forget your password" to respond to me since I can't login.

If you have not heard from them they are non-functional and should be an F.
Yet I see that they are still C-.

If you did hear from them, when was that and what did they say?
How much money you deposited there? I mean how much money you have played there so far? Is it big money or not? As based on my experience they are seems abandoned, if you play with a little amount of money you would feel fine everything works automatically like an instant withdrawal etc. but the support are indeed terrible, I have tried to forgot password too and the link did not sent to my mail just get nothing. They should get a serious warning, the support really inactive.

"... As based on my experience they are seems abandoned..."

Agree.
Seems like no staff, the owner collects profits if any but no cs and even the owner is not responding to Peeps so the owner has given up caring about what people think of the site.

This is not what one expects the owner of a thriving business to do.

Perhaps broke, too disgusted or depressed to even pretend that everything is ok,  and milking the last money coming in until closes the door?

Is anyone reading this currently betting at Cloudbet?
Do they have any customers left?

Peeps - I don't understand what you're waiting for?

harib - any updates?

Nothing from either one - just checked.

Did Cloudbet ever respond to you?

This was my mistake - I see that Jetwin sent me a pm on 11-30 and somehow I missed it.
Thank you for helping me get a response.
I sent him a return pm and await hearing a response.

Jetwin - I sent them an email, received a reply within 24 hours. Very good.

I sent a 2nd email, never received a response to date 11 days later.
Resent that 2nd email 9 days ago, no response to date.

Maybe I got lucky with the 1st email - they have someone come in every few weeks and respond to some emails?

I assume you haven't gotten a response from them either after about 4 days.

Shouldn't this be a downgrade?

I'm having an issue with Jetwin support also.

I emailed a question and got a prompt response.

Followed up with a 2nd question and no response.
Sent a reminder/resend email, no response.

Anybet stiffed players for over $36,000. It's best to stay with the top rated books.

Yeah I heard of that but fortunately I was not part of the group that lost money. I'm glad we have this thread as it got me to move over from a number of shady bookies. I've heard some disturbing news from a lot of bookies from a large number of different users. I guess I want to say Thanks for this thread! Cheesy
Thanks. If anyone has a problem with a sports book, please post it.

I emailed Cloudbet support  last Friday and sent a followup Saturday and no response to date.

Tried to login, didn't accept my login, clicked on "Forgot my password", it said I'd get an email, never got the email.
Tried that 3x altogether, no email (which should be immediately auto emailed) after 3 days. And no support response after 3 days.
I'll try to contact them to see what they say. Can you PM your account ID?

Re: Cloudbet -

So it seems they don't respond to you either.

No response for 7 days for me and 3 days for you.

Their "Forgot my password" is broken, no response to cs emails (2), plus yours.

How long a wait is acceptable?

Wouldn't this call for a downgrade?

Hey guys... logged in after a long break Grin

Those of you NOT using VPN! Read on!

You should REALLY sign up for VPN service before you touch that dial again on btc-e again...

TorVPN accept Bitcoin and Litecoin. You get a 10% discount if you pay with Litecoin / LTC

https://torguard.net/anonymoustorrentvpn.php

ProXPN proxpn.com takes Paypal and easy to use, works on Mac also:

https://secure.proxpn.com/member/signup.php

Try not to use TOR as all entry points are monitored and DO NOT use TAILS that's also like painting a target on your forehead.

I'm sure there are a number of VPN services that offer different options [ feel free to list], but if you dont USE VPN you SHOULD REALLY get one NOW!

Cheers!

This is an excellent site with lots of great info, including: "VPN providers with extra layers of privacy":

Thx for info. Looks like TorGuard has a known "Secret" Key Huh Dam. OK.

There are some hardcore VPN services, listed

like Cryptostorm [Iceland] https://cryptostorm.is/

that take payment in Bitcoin. Maybe a better option.

And DONT use Windows 10. I guess most do. But I tried... Roll Eyes

I am sorry for people's losses.

For those repeating the USA's charge of "money laundering", they should understand -

"money laundering" is now a meaningless term.

When prosecuting, LEOs (Law Enforcement Officers) always "throw the book" at the accused - i.e., they charge as many things as possible, from murder to spitting on the sidewalk, to try to make the accused's crimes seem more serious, and to try to scare the accused so they can later make a deal and say "We're dropping xxx and yyy if you plead guilty to ZZZ".

Money laundering is so vague yet once one is charged with that it is up to the defendant to disprove it in most cases - guilty until proved innocent.
It also makes it easy for the USA Government to ultimately "seize" (i.e., steal) the money.

EDIT - I posted the wrong link above but corrected it about 3 minutes after initially making this post.
i.e., the link above is now correct.

you are just misleading other members that issue has been resolved and betvip has wonderful support and user firendly staff,
i am disagrred with your rating for betvip because of my personal experinece with them,

"you are just misleading other members that issue has been resolved"

I don't know which specific issue you're referring to as I posted quite a few issues, but it doesn't matter.

All of those posts are within the last month.

All of those posts reflect my own experience from first joining the site to tonight.

I believe the issues discussed - lack of response from cs, software issues, etc. - in the posts I pasted from many different customers of BetVIP are typical of what customers find there, based on my experience as well.

You say it's been a good experience - many others find it is not a good experience.

Amazing (well, ok, really not amazing at all) that your book keeps no record of the rollover requirements of different accounts, but instead you try to pretend all accounts are at your current rollover which is your highest rollover thus far.
