1822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Trusted-Cryptos Coin Thread [CryptoBank Development] on: July 05, 2015, 01:46:54 PM
how come that supercoin only has like 5 - 7 connected clients? Is it almost dead or something?
1823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ECCoin/ MultiWalletCoin/ Supercoin] Trusted-Cryptos Coin Thread on: May 09, 2015, 07:36:00 PM
There is currently some excellent buying prices on cryptsy
at the moment as the unwanted element in crypto runs for the hills.
If you're after a bargain now is the time Cheesy

https://www.cryptsy.com/markets/view/SUPER_BTC

I guess the opening post should be changed, bittrex removed and the cryptsy link added?

when i connect my wallet i often have only around 11-15 connections, in the past this was way more. Is it perhaps a configuration mistake?
1826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperCoin Takeover by Trusted-Cryptos Team [Griffith] on: December 11, 2014, 07:08:39 PM

 Huh

+20,000 = Wallet that installs without manual steps...

No one new is going to mine or buy if the damn wallet does not install correctly.

the new wallet autogenerates the proper config. So only install and start the wallet is enough.
1827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperCoin Takeover by Trusted-Cryptos Team [Griffith] on: December 09, 2014, 09:15:37 PM
Can you update the OP page, another question what file should i download on here https://github.com/Greg-Griffith/SuperCoin? or this is just for coders/programers?.?

thats the source code, if you are on linux you should download it and qmake then build the wallet. if you are on windows or mac please wait until we post new wallets on the OP and update the OP
compiling the wallet went fine. Perphaps it should be a little bit redesigned? Can we make the white letters black? And get rid of the purple bar?

Is that a linux wallet?

The wallet should look like this, this is the MAC wallet.

yes, Linux. Ubuntu 14.10 with gnome 3.14.1.

Just to trow in an idea to Griffth and the team.

In the past Super got some bad reputation from Poloniex, i would say that both sides had its part in that. But now there is a new dev team and some great support. Things are going great and i would say that having Poloniex can only be beneficial for Supercoin.

So if the new team can contact them and start talks on getting Super back to Poloniex would be great.

Would be great if all members of the community give an opinion on that. But mine is that we should do that, as it can be only positive for the coin !

That was one of the oldest suggestions that was not accepted before.

It can only help the coin, since when you use google searching for "supercoin", one of the first hits is "Poloniex rejected Supercoin", and that causes fear, uncertainty and doubt. It would be good to end that ugly story once and for all. IMHO that would boost Supercoin more than reviews in less-known blogs and sites.

Heres why so Griffth is this true? if  so can this be fix?

attention to this part of the ANN post:

Quote
- Total PoW coins will be 18.2 millions.
- Total coins (including PoS) will be about 50,000,000.

And these parts of the source code:

Code:
if (dAmount <= 0.0 || dAmount > 150000000.0)

Code:
static const int64_t MAX_MONEY = 150000000 * COIN;
static const int64_t POW_MAX_MONEY = 50000000 * COIN;

MAX_MONEY is pretty much what it sounds like. This means that the actual maximum supply of SuperCoin is 150 million, not 50 million. Furthermore, the maximum PoW coins is 50 million, rather than the claimed 18.2 million. The 150 million number appears twice in the code, so it can hardly be considered an accident.

We did not find evidence of an existing hidden premine, but extra coins could potentially be minted all at once at the end of the PoW phase, sent to exchanges via the "anon" feature, and dumped.

We have other concerns about the coin, particularly concerning the proposed method of anonymity, but the shenanigans with the maximum supply is sufficient for us to reject this coin.

Not sure where this comes from, but looking at the source code on GitHub I see the following.

if (dAmount <= 0.0 || dAmount > 50000000.0)
101           throw JSONRPCError(RPC_TYPE_ERROR, "Invalid amount");

from main.h
static const int64_t MAX_MONEY = 50000000 * COIN;

next to that MAX_MONEY is not about the maximum amount of coins afaik..

Kindly take over Mammothcoin MAMM too,
because both are from same Dev...
agreed with you MAMM is better than SUPER, and from same Dev.

@Griffith think about it too.

better? in what way?  Mamm never had the following super did & if it was from the same dev - the fact that the dev let mamm die without a take over speaks to the fact that it was the coin of lesser concern & the community cared less. Super fought to get to this point....

Griffith already has multiple projects going on. I'd hope he opts out of leading mamm as it may be spreading efforts/time too thin.
check earlier posts then you can know super and mamm are from same Dev...

+1 for MAMM if the dev team will be able to handle it. The tech is not similar but is the same.

Agreed, someone should take serious step to take over the MAMM , as this has very small coins in order to compare with SuperCoin and the tech is same.
yes old members knows that Super and MAMM are from same Dev,
MAMM is better than super for sure.

please go to the MAMM thread if you like MAMM so much.

i have around 185k super. Only  50.500 is "missing" because the transfer from mintpal to my wallet failed (some strange mintpal error code).

1836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN] Unique Most Advanced Anonymous Trustless Multisig Technology on: October 09, 2014, 06:34:35 PM
this would be great. I guess the dev should release the code to Cryptobull.(to avoid copycats) We need to find developers who'd like to contribute, and as a community we should define how the roadmap should look like .
1837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN] Unique Most Advanced Anonymous Trustless Multisig Technology on: October 07, 2014, 11:41:22 AM
Why do you guys want a dev? The coin works perfectly the way it was designed and it is super fast, that should be enough to attract people and keep it long term. I think a lot of people here scared the dev off trying to make him do the proof of developer crap when he obviously wanted to remain anonymous

perhaps because we dont have the source code?

1838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN] Unique Most Advanced Anonymous Trustless Multisig Technology on: October 06, 2014, 08:53:32 PM
checked the QQ channel they had (339648858 - created by keepwalking1234@163.com) - also nothing there.

Hi again,
Ok so i talked with a new multipool comming up they want to add us for a fee i will pay the fee personaly and we can hae a multipool soon in a week or two if rverythk g is ok auto payments and etc Smiley
A promotion group is going to be hired by me personaly without the donations of the community.
DEVS CAN YOU COOPERATE WITH ME  good things are comming Cool if you show yourself

This is a community. If you want to take control,there are many who will gladly follow.

There have been many successful coins where the original devs faded out, and community members took a chance to run the show.

yes, but the only thing here is, that there is no source code...

Do you want extra push for the coin as more promotions and keeping up blockexplorer of fairglue?

Use the donation wallet (Thanks)

http://chainz.cryptoid.info/super/search.dws?q=SRevokU8RLGFN5xx9QuLKXyuDYuF5xLwGW

Just sent 10k,keep up the good work. I'm sure that the reward of SUPER will be astronomic.
Thank you. who is next? I informed fairglue about this as well.

Why these days very less participation on this thread, it was very active thread.
But now rarely anyone post on this thread.

thats because this is dead. Supercointeam only posts crap like donations or keep pushing. Supercoindev is never posting. No progress, no information, no sourcecode.
