Probably a good move. I'm on the fence about buying 100 new 1080Ti. Stuck in between waiting for new Nvidia cards or overpaying for the current model. If the new cards have a life span like the 1080Ti it would be worth the wait.

So, GDAX and Coinbase are going to add new coins, this is gona be huge for the selected coins. Can Bitcore have a chance? It would be massive. 1) Is it an open financial decentralized network with that promotes innovation and economic freedom providing more control over individual’s wealth and property? 2) Is it a secure open source code, with tested and documented peer review, demonstrating a security and disclosure of vulnerability? 3) Is it run by a qualified team, good interaction with the community, and does it have venture capital firms or hedge funds working with it? 4) Is it scalable which allowing for growth? 5) Does it have practical applications and real world implementation and does it help solve problems? 6) Does it have a mechanism for raising funds for future development 7) How liquid is the asset? Is it globally traded? 9) Is there demand and enough tokens available to the public? 10) Does it comply with Anti-Money Laundering? 11) Is the ownership stake retained by the team is a minority stake? (Interesting they put this under token sale structure and what they “believe” are the best practices for ICO’s. https://www.gdax.com/static/digital-asset-framework-2017-11.pdfNo.. Bitcore doesn't have a chance at all for the next 3 years... The devs said earlier - it is not easy for bitcore to get listed in binance and biittrex.. Now devs will say it is extremely impossible for bitcore to be get listed in GDAX and Coinbase.. Let's Try for POLONIEX... Because Devs said nothing about it... Bitsend another crypto from same devs. Is trading in bittrex; that was easy to get listed in bittrex while now the scenario has changed for Bitcore... Devs didn't tell us why it's hard for bitcore... Now you can only hope for the best.. Poloniex hasn't listed BTG which has fair distribution. You really think they're going to list BTX? Poloniex is an extremely reputable exchange and they are not going to list BTX. Prove me wrong.

is it another btc fork? Or it is independent coin?
It's a fork with a claiming service in which the devs are in control of a large amount of the total supply. They distribute to registered addresses. If you can put 100% trust in the devs this may be a good coin. My advise is exercise extreme caution with BTX.

I'd back YarkoL 100% on a new coin. MIL started out as a scam and it's just too hard to come back from that.

Not trying to troll but the main problem with BTX is there are too many coins controlled by the devs. They can "and probably do" distribute coins to themselves and then sell. Anyone who ignores or doesn't believe this is in denial.

Looks like I'm going to miss the airdrop. HitBTC has kept my coins for 5 days since I tried to withdrawal. 5 tickets opened and no response.
why wold you trade such a great coin and face this problems when is more convenient just HODL ?! Because sometimes you buy a great coin and then HODL. HitBTC is a much larger exchange than Cryptopia and I'd never had problems in the past.

Seems like the process withdrawal as soon as someone made a large deposit. HitBTC should’ve been a great help but we’ve gotten lots of bruises after the listing. I've used them for years and never had issues until BTX. I wonder what the problem is. Maybe the devs can help sort this out. Not good for HitBTC or BTX.

i THINK the real competitor in the real world for BTX is Dash.
P.S Doe's this platform have the ignore option? Too many annoying wankers in this thread.
I don't believe BTX is even close to the DASH level. However, being GPU minable with it's own algorithm and have it's hashing power spread out makes BTX attractive.

Very disappointing development of the price of BTX.

BTX will never be the next BTC. BTC will remain king. The race is on for the next payment system. Alt coins must prove their worth by displaying how they can function in this environment. Mass transaction testing, enhanced security, and a diverse block chain. Hash for BTX needs spread out for security and mining need to be more profitable. Since BTX is GPU minable there needs to be a "fast" no-fee miner for both AMD and Nvidia cards to encourage mining. Just my thoughts. Go look up the whattomine for BTX... It is in the top 3 most profitable coins at all times. It's just that we aren't on the main page but I talked to them and they said in 2018 that will change. Very good. That'd be a good first step. Nicehash adding Bitcore support would also be "Nice". We might even get them to help with a better miner. I paid for the faster miner and use it. I don't agree with fees for a miner that was paid for. I appreciate the work that goes into these advanced miners but you shouldn't have it both ways. More options for mining to spread the hash is a must for the future.

More than 48 hours and still nothing for my Btx withdrawal on Hitbtc, i have send a second ticket but there is no response. I advise you not to trade on this exchange until they clarify its position.

I would also support you guys in any way I can.

I closed it all down now, I was going to solo mine but wallet does not support http mining I dont really understand the signiture system and I am apprehensive of using it
I'm pool mining with several 1080s and finding very few coins so I wouldn't recommend solo mining anyway. It's still very early for BTX so I would stick your 1080 in a pool and let work there.

The intent is to increase demand.
byteball excludes no one and it's all the better for it. No disrespect intended but BTX is not byteball. Different ideas for different coins. The amount of free BTX which could be distributed to addresses below the top 1000 is fairly insignificant anyway.
|
|
|
Let the Dev distribute his or her own way. The original distribution was wrong. 2.5% to the top 1000 is much better. If you not in the top 1000 and want more BTX than buy or mine some. Stop crying because you're not getting free coins. The intent is to increase demand. We all need to remember that any coins we receive above what we've claimed, mined, or purchased is just an extra bonus. If you want this bonus than you need to get to the top 1000. This isn't hard or expensive to accomplish.

I'll pay for an updated block explorer and keep it paid as long as there is development. That can be my part. Just get me the info on whoever you want to use.
Just get it set up and send us the link - Thanks! New Block Explorer https://chainz.cryptoid.info/gun/Paid for 1 year. Remember this? Page has never been changed.
