2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much bitcoin do you need now to be a millionaire? on: August 11, 2017, 09:22:33 PM
At the moment you just only need 277 bitcoins to be a USD millionaire, but it depends on where do you live, for example in my country with only just 15 bitcoins you can be a millionaire and have a very very rich living.
By the way, i think holding 100 bitcoins will make everyone millionaire in a few years, it depends on the price, but i really believe in bitcoin for the future
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Betting 80% of my portfolio on ARK on: August 11, 2017, 09:19:42 PM
for more profits Wink
What about losing part of game? Noone should risk 80% of portfolio just for he/she thinking prices will go up for near future? Huh? Sometimes you forget rules of smart trading blindly. But this guy is planning to gamble with portfolio..
Yes in dont understand why people keep investing such that amount of money in only one coin or one product, why dont they diversify?
ark doesnt look atractive, but i will take a look, i am not gonna invest more than 10% of my portfolio lol.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will banks start a war against bitcoin on: August 11, 2017, 09:17:25 PM
Nobody knows, but one thing that i have to say is that bitcoin and banks are gonna have a fight in the upcoming years, you dont have to be a clever to understand that. Banks makes money with fees, interests, and having people's money, and bitcoin does the same, only that you manage it and have the same features, and you dont pay fees. what could any person prefers? obviously bitcoin.
banks wont let people stop using their system to replace it for bitcoin, that is impossible, there is a lot of poverty around.
this thing scares me, but we will see, bitcoin is always going up, so bitcoin will never end.
5  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading VS Bitcoin! on: August 11, 2017, 09:14:56 PM
Okay, those are different concepts for making money, holding bitcoin is different than trading, i will help you out with that
trading is just buying low and selling high, just buy an alt at 0.0003 and selling at 0.0004 for example, take the profit and run away to another way.
holding is different, you can just buy an altcoin, or you can hold bitcoin, and wait until the price is high, take the profit and do whatever you want.
I prefer holding forever.
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: Old hands, what is your current engagement level? on: August 11, 2017, 09:13:25 PM
I prefer to trade with safe coins and good pairs just like eth/btc xmr/btc or just in case some rare altcoins that are profitable.
i dont put more than 5% of my portfolio into one operation.
at the moment i am buying some fancton and ark. looking for buying some NEO but i dont know if it will be profitable or not.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: August 11, 2017, 09:07:55 PM
It is never to late to buy bitcoins, just look at the charts and there you will find your answer by yourself, it has a very good potential and probably will continue growing day by day. so yes, better to put your money in here and buy some bitcoins, doesnt matter how much, just buy and hold until you make profit. just like all of us did.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: August 11, 2017, 09:01:08 PM
Yes i did, i put all my money into bitcoin, but i have made my own portfolio and bought some other altcoins, so all my money dont depends on bitcoin.
I really believe in this new era of money, i think we all do. so why not risk my money on this? I love bitcoin, and that wont change.
We all should hold.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: August 11, 2017, 08:57:11 PM
I dont think that bitcoin could end world poverty, those who really have power wont let a digital coin to take them off from the throne, because money moves the world, and banks do so, and poverty people wont let bitcoin to take the banks out of the road so easily. so this is the first reason. i hope bitcoin have such a high price, but not to take the poverty out of here.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FILECOIN, biggest ico ever! on: August 11, 2017, 08:52:46 PM
It is just a new brand ico, and we all know what always happens with icos, they just booom and suddenly they dump because all the investors withdrawed their money, because they bought on pre-ico.
So if you are gonna invest in something like this, better to join at the begining, not when the big whales have left.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto payment processor on: August 11, 2017, 08:50:34 PM
Actually, there are sites like this online right now, and if you are willing to create a new one, there are to many competitors and you wont have to much traffic.
Just google it and there you will find sites like this one.
By the way, i dont know why people make bitcoin to look difficult, just create a wallet and start sending and receiving money, that is it, why making it so complicated?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How high will Litecoin go? on: August 11, 2017, 08:47:18 PM
I dont understand why litecoin is still such an underrated coin, it is so useful and i dont get why it is not interesting for someone to buy it.
It has potential, but it cant grow to much because it is not so volatile. why?
i would love to it to get to $100 each, but i see it a little impossible, i would bet that monero will reach the one hundred first.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: August 11, 2017, 08:44:40 PM
I think that one of the bigges cons- dissaventages that bitcoin haves is that it is so expensive at the moment, but by the way, bitcoin is perfect, it has everything that any person could want, for example, sending money fastly, anonymous way of paying, etc.

15  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase is restricted to cell phone users only. on: August 11, 2017, 08:35:28 PM
Coinbase is being suspicius in every aspect, i dont like that wallet, i prefer using electrum or any other exchange that is not coinbase. They have so much problem with US residents, i dont know why us governemnt dont want to their citizens to use cryptocurrencies, there is so governement manipulation around this kind of money in that country.
Better to use blockchain or offline wallets.

16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reached 3.2K!! on: August 11, 2017, 08:23:54 PM
I think that bitcoin will continue growing in the next days, right now it is at $3,6k each one, and it was $2,8k exactly one week ago, so i can say that bitcoin can reach $5k at the end of the year for sure.

Also the strongest altcoins growed like a 30% last week
17  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: tax on bitcoin profits? on: May 30, 2017, 11:01:10 PM
Hey Serpens66,

I moved from Germany to Spain and just got into the tax issue too. As far as I'm aware there's no 1 year differentiation here any more. Trading profits always count as savings income, so the base del ahorro (max 23%) applies, no matter how long you held.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HZ] Horizon Long + Fair Distribution|Decentralized Asset Exchange on: October 19, 2016, 06:32:24 PM
This is a thread in a forum I don't follow. The official place is slack, like it or not.

//edit: I agree that the asset investment should've been announced, or generally handled more transparently. Shit's down the drain though, when we did that we never expected anyone to care (and without the pump nobody would).
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HZ] Horizon Long + Fair Distribution|Decentralized Asset Exchange on: October 19, 2016, 06:00:29 PM
Don't forget that the foundation is still holding >2M HZ  Each transaction for the webserver has a message inside, you can check the price at that time to figure out if the amounts were correct. 45€ a month at a BTC price of 250€ and a HZ price of 20 Satoshis took its toll.
The node bounty went on for everyone until the account was dry. There's been no special treatment for single accounts.

The 40M were invested in the silver and adsactly assets long before the pump, and the coins were sold immideately. We're getting good interest and will move to a cheaper server soon, so this step has secured the future of the foundation.

Nobody but those two subcommunities cared for HZ since a year or so. You've all been invited to the slack to discuss with us. But I know, complaining is easier Wink
