v7.3:
- now miner supports HTTP for remote monitoring, you can check miner state remotely via browser, check "-mport" option for details. - added temperature management for Linux gpu-pro drivers. Note: root access is required to manage fans speed. - added "-fanmin" option. - fixed issue with "-allcoins exp" option. - EthMan: added options for number of decimal points in displayed statistics. - some minor improvements and bug fixes.
Hi Claymore! Due to the problems with fan management with linux pro drivers, I created a script in python to set the fan for every card in order to set a temperature. ( I send also the data to my telegram bot! ) Can I use my script with this new version?... I mean... if your miner set the fans, perhaps I have a problem with my script. Tks! If you did not set "-tt" option, miner only reads fan status, it does not set fans speed.

Four days until genesis. Come on Claymore!!!
I'm not working on zcash miner currently, so please don't expect that I'll release it soon. Though its PoW looks interesting for me and as soon as I have time I'll check if I can create faster miner. I get a lot of requests for private miner, so I have to repeat it again: I don't have any private miners, if I create a miner I make it public. yeps, no private miner, kudos to that but with the fees ... you're already VERY rich (at least 5M USD in eth alone) claymore, prolly lower the built in devfees ? just my 2 sats. I have no clue how you got this number, but it's far, far from what I got from devfee from all miners ever. Anyway, if you really think that I got 5M$, it seems reasonable that you must learn programming asap and get similar amount, it's easy! If 1% of defvee is too much for you, there is a choice, just use some other miner and save some coins. In fact, you won't see any additional profit even if I make devfee twice less, I doubt you can feel 0.5% difference in profit. And lowering devfee just because you think that I earn "too much" is not a good reason for me.

Since last epoch #83 and a new DAG file, I'm unable to mine with my rigs with 2GB cards. They all are with 8 cards (270, 270x, 265, etc.) and all stopped mining last night and unable to bring them online since then. Rigs are with Ubunty LTS 14.04 x64
Variables are checked and reched, driver version is 15.302, SDK is 2.9.1 (tried different, none of them work for that matter). Miner is 5.3 to some of them, updated a few to 7.2, but still getting the dreaded "OpenCL error -4 (0) - cannot create DAG on GPU"
Rigs are with Asrock H61 Del, H81 Pro BTC some with 8GB of RAM, some with 4GB and the common is that none of them work after last night.
Tested with stock ethminer, DAG file is 1696MB and cards are currently mining, so to my observations problem is not with GPU RAM.
Any suggestions?
If ethminer works, try "-eres 0" option. It must help, but note in a few epochs you will not be able to mine soon anyway, even with ethminer.

Hey Claymore,
I am having some issues with some of the switches under Ubuntu That would be a result of: /home/ethos/claymore/ethdcrminer64 -lidag -di 012345 -eres 3 -tt 100 -epool us2.ethermine.org:4444 (...) etc. Unless I am doing something wrong here - let me know one way or another. Thanks,
"-lidag 1". @ Claymore, Do you have or are you making a zcash gpu miner?
Search for "zcash" in this thread and you'll find my answer.

Claymore, is there any chance to change the logic of pool failover?
Traditional failover (up/down) is kinda useless for ethereum pools. They usually are up, however find kadzillion excuses to reject shares. I'm talking specifically about dwarfpool and ethermine. Time by time they catch a glitch and reject 100% of the shares.
The latest was dwarfpools "corrupt DAG". At the same time older GPUs on expanse dwarfpool with same miner (7.2) mined ok, so this was obviously issue on the pool side. The pool is up, but 100% rejecting shares. This doesn't force the miner to switch to failover pool. As a result farm is not just generating rejected shares for half of the night, but also consumes full power for nothing.
Handling this situation miner-side is quite easy, 5 consecutive rejects = GTFO for 1 hour. I don't pretend that numbers 5 rejects and 1 hours are optimal, they are just suggestions.
If you got 100% rejected shares, miner will switch pool in several minutes. Miner checks latest 10 shares that it sent, if pool rejected >5 shares, miner will disconnect. After 3 disconnects it will select next pool in the list. If you have a log file that demonstrates that it does not work - PM me it so I can check it.

Hey @Claymore
Any plans to add controls on updated drivers? is the API for 16.9.2/3 or 16.10 out? If there is a version that works (power, temp , core clock speed, memory clock speed etc) with later versions of Crimson , that will be great. As almost all the miners are using modified BIOS and 16.7.x needs signed drivers while 16.9 onwards it does not. Thank you
It already works, at least in Windows. For Linux, only temp/fan reading is supported because root access is required to change anything.

Please can you update miningpoolhub instructions; these are the correct settings:
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool hub.miningpoolhub.com:17020 -ewal YourLogin.YourWorkerName -epsw x -esm 3 -allpools 1 -dpool hub.miningpoolhub.com:17022 -dwal YourLogin.YourWorkerName -dpsw x -dcoin sc
Yes "-dcoin sc" was missed, fixed, this works for me: miningpoolhub Ethereum+Siacoin: EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us-east1.ethereum.miningpoolhub.com:20536 -ewal 0xD69af2A796A737A103F12d2f0BCC563a13900E6F -eworker YourLogin.YourWorkerName -epsw x -allpools 1 -dpool stratum+tcp://hub.miningpoolhub.com:20550 -dwal username.workername -dpsw x -dcoin sia you must also create worker "YourWorkerName" on pool and specify your wallet address there.
