42  Economy / Auctions / BitcoinReminder.com is looking for an investor/takeover on: October 14, 2014, 09:57:25 PM
Dear valued users,

BitcoinReminder.com is looking for an investor/takeover.

---[ WHY? ]-----------------------------------------------------------

Any payment service requires a very careful maintenance and we were doing so responsibly since 2011.

The service has never suffered any hack or a major technical problem, earning the trust of thousands of users.

However, since our time and resources are limited it's getting harder and harder for us to ensure perfectly safe and robust service performance. Also we are looking forward to a new bitcoin project, so we would like to free our time for the new one. It was (and is still) a great feeling to develop BitcoinReminder.com, but as time goes by, interest and direction changes.

---[ FOR SALE ]-------------------------------------------------------

Should you feel like buying BitcoinReminder.com, please submit an amount you are willing to pay to office@bitcoinreminder.com.

The highest amount wins the blind auction. If the bids are not enough from our perspective, we won't sell BitcoinReminder.com and continue the service.

This auction includes:
- complete source code (Ruby on Rails)
- bitcoinreminder.com domain
- database (enabling you to resume the service where it stopped)
- server scripts/configuration and monitoring recipes

The code base is relatively clean, conforms with ruby on rails conventions and is well tested. It should be easy to navigate for a rails programmer.

Deadline for submitting buy offers is on *Saturday*, 1 Nov 2014.

Thanks and happy trading,
Peter

Can't you enable the coin control features in the options menu? Maybe this helps...
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Core 0.9.3 has been released on: September 28, 2014, 08:00:38 PM
If your backup wallet.dat file was stolen and it didnt have a password, there is a quite high chance that your coins were sent..

You can load your backup file into your normal bitcoin client and try to add/change the password.. If you had one, it will ask you to enter it before you can change it.
Make a backup of your current wallet.dat before trying an old one.

Hey.. Thanks for your great work!

I have one question: It would be nice to display always the hour on the chart... Not only on :30 or :0.. For me it would be easier to see on the first look.. Thanks..

Smiley

My bitcoind is also consuming more and more memory over the time... 590 mb usually.. and then growing growing up to more than 1 gb after some days..

Lucky you!

 4072 bitcoin   20   0 6342m 4.9g  25m S   12 63.3 402:46.47 bitcoind

Even after restarting?
Do you know if the new version 0.8.6 has the same problems?

Within the last days, the memory consumption is increasing on my system.. I have to restart the bitcoin daemon every day now :S

My bitcoind is also consuming more and more memory over the time... 590 mb usually.. and then growing growing up to more than 1 gb after some days..

60  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: bitcoinity.org/markets - live bitcoin price charts on: December 04, 2013, 10:37:28 PM
And it would be great if you could add a $ sign or a BTC sign on the top chart on the left side.. sometimes i switch to currency and sometimes to btc.. and them im confused if the bars now show BTC or Dollars..

Thanks!
