Find electrum folder: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Electrum#Wallet_FileCreate a backup of it. Delete 'config' file and 'blockchain_headers' file Then run electrum. If it starts up wait for it to sync up. Report back whether it works properly or not. ok done- nothing happened.... it still wont open should i turn the computer off and then on |

should i delete the .exe,,, is that all there is or is there a folder somewhere else
uninstall, not delete. What OS are you using? how do i uninstall---- even if i deletd i could still recover with the seed correct??? go to start --> programs --> electrum --> uninstall Then install it fresh and recover from seed. i just entered the seed on a back up computer so the wallet would not be permanently lost- now i am waiting to make that succesful-then i will try on this one Good idea. Let us know what happens! back-up computer wallet install was a success so all was not lost i have a wallet and btc |

Do you still have the recovery seed? If yes you are safe anyway.
Just reinstall the wallet then, or try another PC.
so i have to go that far?? i have never done that? how should i do it? i looked for the folder but all i could find was the .exe,,,, is that all there is? Lets rather wait for an expert to appear to this thread before you do something wrong. (I'd just reinstall everything, then click recover from seed and enter the seed) ya how should i go about that |

hey can somebody please help--- i am freaking out---- i just tried to open my wallet like i always do and it wont open -- it just hour glasses and then nothing... i cleared the cache... still nothing-- everything seems normal and then it just never opens

maybe even a once a month stuck balance day ?
Why do balances even get stuck? This is the only pool that this happens -- to me at least. I've had 0.01835318 BTC stuck for some time now. The immatures don't become unexchanged and the unexchanged don't get ready for payout. omg... no way that sucks.. that about 1 whole day of mining for me..... i think i am about to that but i kept mining here because i thought terk was going to deal with it Terk, any word on the stuck yet? |

Which brings us to the question: what if buying hashrate is no longer profitable? What if running all the equipment you have will start to cost more then it'll make? Obviously the difficulty can't go on forever either without serious impact sooner or later
Declined profitability due to increased costs is within our control. This is why we set the prices rather than rodeoclown deciding them.  Declined profitability due to difficulty increase is out of our control. We don't know what the difficulty factor is going to do, and that's the risk we accept. Business is going great as usual, and these low difficulty adjustments are making the game a lot more interesting.  Aww, let rodeoclown set prices for once  I'm also grateful for the low increases, and I think that's a trend that will continue, with an exception every now and then. Still, the road to Break Evensville is getting longer and longer  its 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 norris as in chuck norris-oh wait thats still an increase |
