Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading vs holding

Under what circumstances is trading preferred over holding? Btc reaching 10k$ way before new year is a big shock, your opinions would be very helpful.
Trading is preferred over holding if you don’t have sufficient funds to invest for long term. Also if you can’t control your emotions and don’t have patience to wait then go for trading. But for trading you should have skills and technical knowledge about the market trends.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Alt Coins are a scam.

Well this is what the insightful Tone Vays claims...
He claims that ETH, DASH, shit 99.5% of all the ALTS are scams and the only coin that will survive is Bitcoin.
So l guess we should all sell our Alts now!
I guess he just gave his opinion. It’s not like a universal truth. But according to me there are some Altcoins which are making many people rich, ETH, for instance. Some people even believe more in these Altcoins than Bitcoin. Yes, many Altcoins will disappear but not all.

Economy / Economics / Re: Invest in BTC vs Invest in Real Estate?
|
on: April 13, 2018, 06:58:07 PM

Bitcoin chart is going up and down some times I am thinking maybe I should invest part of my BTC (at least the part of the profit I’ve made on crypto) into something real?! Let’s say I can buy share of real estate company and get the part of profit (50-100% per Year). Should I Spend all my BTC on that shares? Spend small (profit) part? Or just do nothing and wait? ?! I’ll do appreciate for answers with any suggestions and recommendations! Glad to see that you are interested in portfolio diversification. Its always recommended to invest your money in different areas instead of a particular area. But real estate is not an attracting sector now days. The demand of real estate is declining with so many new areas coming up and due to involvement of so many formalities. You should rather invest your money in gold. To me, it appears to be more profitable.

Local / India / Re: Why Arun jaitley ji, Modi ji and RBI has no idea about what they are talking!
|
on: April 13, 2018, 05:47:58 PM
|
I completely agree with you on some points. I think that all of them have no idea of what they are talking. The only thing for which are concerned right now is (which looks from their attitude and actions) to protect the financial intermediaries or the so called “banks” or financial institutions. Bitcoin with all its advantages of decentralization can pose a huge threat to the existence of banks. Therefore, RBI has banned it and not the government, implying that only banks are restricted to use Bitcoins. The general public can still trade in it.

Economy / Economics / Re: What's more important when starting a business, Big Idea or Big Capital?
|
on: April 13, 2018, 05:09:57 PM
|
What's more important when starting a business, Big Idea or Big Capital?
The harsh truth is that big capital is always important if you want to make something big from your business. You will be able to implement your big idea properly only if you have a big capital. It also depends on the type of business you are planning to undertake. For instance, a business involving heavy engineering machines, huge infrastructure, will require big capital but a fashion designing business will need better ideas and innovations than a really big capital.

I guess you have already mentioned your problem because of which you are losing. That’s a good point as your have accepted your weakness so it will be easy for you to improve it. If you cannot control your emotions, then try day trading. It is for individuals who cannot wait for long while earning you some gains too.

Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you encourage friends and family to invest in crypto?

I love to share my experiences regarding cryptocurrencies with my friends and relatives. It feels great if they show interest in these topics and ask queries. However there are some which are not interested in hearing what is say at all. So , I do my part by telling them about this wonderful blessing, rest it is up to them whether they want to invest in it or not.

Economy / Speculation / Re: why bitcoin going to down??
|
on: April 12, 2018, 10:59:41 PM
|
There are many reasons for this. Since Bitcoin gained so much popularity some people started using it for scams and frauds. This led to the interference of government. Many governments also gave their negative views on Bitcoin, which made people skeptical and they started selling it. But this is just a temporary phase. Owing to the fact that Bitcoin still has the faith of many investors, its price will rise soon.

Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without knowledge
|
on: April 12, 2018, 07:32:54 PM

Trading without knowledge can definitely earn you some gains but I don’t think so anyone should do this because it will not last longer. When a person without trading knowledge starts investing, he invests a small amount at lower price and sells it at higher price. When he earns profit so easily, this leads to the greed and he starts investing more but as he does not have some technical knowledge about how the prices move, etc, he might start losing.

Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: finish college or keep playing bitcoin?
|
on: April 12, 2018, 07:17:02 PM

Education is very important for a good career and livelihood. Just because you are now earning profits from Bitcoin does not mean that you should quit education and choose Bitcoin as your livelihood. I mean, that’s good if you are making money, but pursue your graduation also, that would be even better.
