In other news yay I made enough btc from posting to buy myself a new SSD so I can go ahead and buy one for bitcoins at scan.co.uk <---- love these guys so much right now.
Why is this relevant to this thread you ask well Its relevant because I (and maybe anyone reading this) need to totally clean their PC's with a fresh install because (shocker) I have opened a PDF in the last year. I would say FML but I see a little sliver lining.

Do not touch this dump unless you really know your stuff.
Now you tell me, after I thought I was assure all is well prior to downloading it, then...wait for it...opened it. Still not sure what I may have compromised for I'm a serious noob when it comes to these sort of things. I have not once assure anyone about this link and the single and only time I have posted this link myself I wrote a big ass red warning all around it from the get go. You clicked on someone else's link not mine and you trusted someone else not me. I have not even downloaded myself even tho I really want to me because I'm a gox victim and I would love to get all my account information back. As a tec noob myself I also had no idea PDF's could do this until today and thinking back over the last year how many pdfs have I opened?? I think I also need to wipe my PC not because of this download but because I might have already been effected. Would you mind telling us who assured you. You just dragged my name thu the mud a little its the least you could do. This is a misunderstanding. When I penned my post above, I had nobody specific in mind, especially V4Vendettas, of whom this is the first time, I believe, I've run across his name, let alone conduct an exchange with, I believe. I just happened to quote you to express my feelings at the time, and you are in no way responsible for me opening any file. Please accept my apology in this matter, along with not replying sooner. Thanks, bud. ~Bruno Kucinskas EDIT: I also send a PM expressing my apology and original intent further. Thanks man means a lot to me. All forgiven and massive bro hug from me to. Right well back to work for me now and by work I mean dragging myself back out of the gox hole both emotionally spiritually and financially. How the hell is mass adoption going to happen in a place like this? The 1% elite of bitcoin will be IT security specialist it seems.
Profound truth. It is a massive-attractor of scumbag turdsucking thieves, but Satoshi's concept is still good. :l Satoshi's concept is still good yes I agree 100% its just as this ideas children we have a lot of growing up and development to do.

Never seen them before... Look at their faq, "is this a scam?" lol... Who would ask a company if they are a scam and expect a "yes, we're a scam"? My advice is to save yourself any risk and wait until they release, a 3D mockup does little to warranty an investment (unless you're kickstarting) You can find their thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=469943.0I have ordered a single unit with a Credit card not because I trust them but because they are a limited Vat registered company so I have 100% put my faith in my CC company and my country's laws not bitcoinultra. As yet all we have seen is 100% vaporware so I would honestly say until you hear reports of miners hitting customer doorsteps be very wary and please please don't pay with bitcoins until we all know its legit. On a personal note I am praying its a legit company because us brits are really behind the times on this.

Ok so what would be a community counter to this ?
Non-member firms or individuals would not be allowed to trade -- at least at the outset -- but likely could do business via the member firms.Ignore them and/or laugh at the high fees. Hmmm rarely in history when someone plots against you is the right move to do nothing. So I can only assume your wrong or this is a laughable threat to btc ?

I lost 95% of my wealth in this goxxing and I still say NO at least I got my health still tho right ..sniff I will say fuck Blackhats and fuck mark and if bitcoins going to reach mass adoption its going to require something to stop low tec users from living in fear and getting screw every time they even think about the internet. That or it will be a bloody road we go down. Hey just look back at the road already...yea plenty of bitcoiners dead along the wayside.

Personally I'm going to not touch anything until its up on the official MT.Gox website and even then I will wait a few days to make sure tons of people more tec smart than me confirm its safe and even then I will be in fear.

I think it's likely that Monday morning will provide some clarity to the situation. I expect the weekend may have been used for personal time, working on miners, other and that Monday will be back to business - that's my gut hope anyways.
Was not there some offers from members there to do a road trip for verification purposes? is that still a consideration? I'm willing to donate to some community-respected senior members to take a Truth-Trip, grab some snaps and post said snaps a la forum - Perhaps we can start a "Truth-Trip-Trust" to finance the quintessential query quest to the recluse rurality of Rotherham.
I want to go, but I am in the process of buying a new car as the current one is rubbish (Corsa 1999) and the 3 hour journey would be a nightmare If I manage to find what I am looking for and decide to go I might take some donations for fuel (around £60 from London return). I lost 73 btc in gox I have 0.80 left. I am willing to donate if you will go (wont be much) but I'm sure others would chip in also. Edit: Also good morning Chris might be worth having a little read over this weekends discussions.
