in conf files that we need to sync such as this:
server=1
listen=1
rpcuser=USER
rpcpassword=PASSWORD
rpcport=12789
addnode=107.170.176.199
addnode=193.198.102.245
addnode=188.226.245.225
addnode=107.170.251.221
addnode=128.199.183.20
addnode=162.243.97.122
in user and password we have to make up our own, or just leave them as dev provides? does it matter, security wise? I am asking if it matters for others coins as well, not just KTK
You can leave them but its better to have your own, it metter for seccurity if your wallet is unencrypted and you are using it like server yeha but most coins , like KTK u dont use them as server... right? I mean the average holder. No there is no point to use this coin as server except if you have some service with it, so in your case you can only leave the nodes in the conf file and nothing more. |

Hello Community Please ignore all FUD which people are posting. Skip them and make them feel we actually don't care about them ! because this community is now very strong and helpful  best part of this community is DEV ! Thank you i do my best and will try to be as more active next week as i still have some issues here in personal live and i devote them about 18 hours daily + 2-3 here which lives me with 3-4 hours for sleep for almost a week. I am glad that community is growing and that altcoingiveaways is going good, and thanks to everyone that gave the idea to create thread over there. |

That is right, but you also need to ask people to write at least vote number in the post to keep the thread on the top of the list. I don't remember which ones but just saying and I don't want any KTK from voting +1 Well I've never voted to claim the incentive myself. Most of us here are stakeholders anyway with decent stashes of KTK. I think it's a lot more rewarding for the community when the voting incentive is claimed by people outside of the KTK clique. It helps expand our community  By the way, I was just thinking, you guys should hold the voting giveaway on altcoingiveway. They have plenty of voting giveaways over there and we're bound to get a lot more people join our voting campaign If everyone agrees i can move the giveaway on altcoingiveway. |

I am glad that KTK finally started to move on bittrex, its almost double from when i bought from dumpers, i hope we get more supporters soon and get fast on mintpal so those early dumpers regret they sold their free coins for pennies |

If everyone feels the same way and agrees, it's ok with me. And great suggestion uki, a reward for any ideas we implement. Regarding ideas: I believe it is very important to keep this fantastic community growing and that is why we need help of all KryptKoin people at different levels. These who are skilled programmers and tech guys please provide your ideas on which important technical feature you would see as a next must have issue that would help KryptKoin to stand out from the crowd. Personally, I don't believe in developing next feature just because some other coin has it, we must be convinced that this idea has at least some potential. That is why I would suggest sticking to the dev's original plan and get the KryptMessages first.
Anon, it is another issue, but I don't see it as a critical one.
These who are not tech guys, may and should help too. Any promotional ideas, any ideas on how to spread the word about KryptKoin are also worth a lot. And also on the very basic level, please, send tweets, post things about KryptKoin just make ourselves loud!
And, Dev, I believe the best ideas should be rewarded with some small bonus to give the people incentive to be more creative Wink
Regarding donations: I think that at least 50% of the extra money that was saved on dumpers (and that was supposed to be the extra bonus for those who stake for at least 30 days) should be moved to the development pot, to support our growth.

What community thinks is a signature campaign a good idea, if many agree i can set up one and set prices and terms and donate 2500 KTK to get this going, so please share your thoughts on this with me
Well, in my view that is a boomerang for two reasons: 1) People don't care about the coin and so take just the money and immediatly go to dump ( for example yellow coin) 2) When this happens the community look like " unluky", constrained to pay someone to promote itself but without result. This could give a " bad light" to the coin, something like desperation and instead we are happy this is my opinion, if community will decide i ll do my part That is a good point and i know some people dump it as soon as they get it but on the other side is a good promotion, more or less people post in many other threads so the signature will be visible for everyone that visits that thread and it might help bring some more users here |

The list from the mintpal voting is here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Au1tYbZ1lmPodEhxbURPWlpGdnNPRXZOVElMbXhUS0E&usp=drive_web#gid=0 and is autoupdated as someone fils the form and today i see double entries, so someone is cheateng for free KTK vote #840 claimed by yzm_2014 and mistress and i think only one could claim it so please the one that just typed it and didn't vote to be honest and tell, same goes for 841 frant100 and xtsjyfx, 847 PTseler and poochpocket, and so on, will pay all of this but as of today will ban from giveaway for fake votes. the first that claims the vote will have the advantage. when i see my name in this kind of post i hate it  we are voting for coin to get listed on Mintpal and poochpocket have done some mistake i am sure ! anyways if you think i have cheated don't ever try to send me coins guys well i will vote as much as i can because i am very much dedicated to this coin ! Yesterday evening about 100 claims were made within 40 minutes time (with 100+ lag to the real votes number) - rows from 468 to 551 look suspicious to me and need to be double checked. Among these votes, there is someone claiming the reward for my votes: Jim1 (#1024) witeuw (#1049) awwer (#1157) Apart from that I saw double entries for some other votes. Other frequent voters, please, double check your entries. Hate to see that, but apparently there is no other way like publicly post the names of cheaters and make sure we double check everything to guarantee that the people who really voted got their reward. I am now back home and i am sorry that i missed sending the reward last 2 days, so will now check every vote 1 by 1 and see if we can get who is cheating and who is not, i now there are double entries and i know that regular voters wont just make fake claims so will only count the regular voters votes and will post others usernames here to explain them(maybe someone did mistake) |
