1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is going to convince me which is the best! on: December 25, 2018, 10:54:00 AM
BTC

XRP

ETH

Who is going to convince me which is the best? and why?

Who is better: an elephant, a cow or a dog? You understand the absurdity of this issue. These projects are created for different purposes and you want to compare them on some of its indicators.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH so popular on: December 25, 2018, 10:51:57 AM
Eth has become popular, do you know the reasons?
I think people are too stress with BTC decreasing, then they sell BTC out to buy more ETh.

Ethereum became popular only because of the fact that its platform began to create a lot of projects, and of course because of its tremendous growth. He has enriched many people.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which alts to buy? on: December 25, 2018, 10:49:31 AM
Now disassemble altcoins is very interesting, because even if judged by their past ATH now you can get so rich that it is terrible to imagine. I would like to draw attention to the NEO and Caradano, a pretty strong draft.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why not buy Ethereum on: December 24, 2018, 10:57:36 AM
Now I will name just three reasons why you should not buy Ethereum. Of course, you can call an almost infinite number of reasons why you should not buy airwaves, but we are not chasing after quantity, but quality. I believe that these three reasons are enough to not even think about investing in the air.

1. The ether has infinite emission.
Even if there were no other reasons, I would still not have bought Ethereum because of the endless issue. Gold will cease to be gold, if it is endlessly "printed." Did you know about this?

2. Ethereum regularly hosts hurricanes to return, for example, stolen funds and this greatly undermines the decentralization of the coin. In this way,
large investors may be wary of investing in the air because of fear of losing money.

3. The hurdles are conducted only for very large investors, for example, because of the DAO fund. If you steal even one million dollars, you probably will not get anything back. There is discrimination.

What do you think?

The problems are not so convincing as not to consider Ethereum as an investment. Think about it, though it is so problematic, but they are trying to make some innovations in this area.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who will be the new king on: December 24, 2018, 10:54:45 AM
We won't see the birth of a new king for at least the next 5 years, so don't even wait for that. The only place that can be taken, this place is better than altcoin, but for him already EOS fight.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC is simply just to cheat bounty hunters. on: December 24, 2018, 10:52:24 AM
To my understanding, KYC simply means "Know your customer". Investors(customers) who participate in ICO are made to go through KYC process before they are even allowed to purchase their tokens. On the other hand, Bounty hunters are just "part time workers" of the project and not customers. Even if they will be made to go through a KYC process, it should be before they start working and not after. Waiting for them to finish working for the project and refusing to pay them because they failed to pass KYC afterwards is a total cheat.

I never understood why the workers ( bounty hunters) to pass identification. We are not investors, but simply perform services to promote the company, no more. How can we be affected by laws?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does KYC gives you ? on: December 21, 2018, 08:33:53 AM
Hi.can someone tell me if KYC is ok ? what could be the effects of doing it especially in bounties/airdrops, they are requiring to pass KYC before joining

At the moment, KYC for bounty hunters and people involved in airdrops is a headache, because we do not know to whom our data is transferred, whether the project is really working or it is another Scam and so on.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? on: December 21, 2018, 08:30:39 AM
Many simply sell their coins immediately because of panic. They are simply afraid that in the future the price of coins may continue to decline. But I think that it is better to have patience and wait - over time, reliable coins will definitely begin to rise in price and will generate income for investors.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell! Hardfork & rebranding. on: December 20, 2018, 08:35:06 AM
i have hold some komodo coins in binance exchange but their hardfork is coming up next on 15th of December and also coin rebranding on 31st December you may know it before. i just need advised should i sell them before hardfork or hold it. i am already in loss for that coins.
PLEASE SAVE ME!!!

You can treat this like a death throb. Personally, I know few projects that after such a loud withdrawal from the stock exchanges, then recovered and returned to the past trading volumes. Sell the coin.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy now or wait? on: December 20, 2018, 08:32:54 AM
Hi, i am wondering if i should buy a little bit of top 20 coins at current prices, 8th dec 2018, or wait until the market gets lower. What do you guys do?

I have bought the current dip, or at least... when market cap was still around 120 billion usd. Following my policy to buy after huge drops only, i planned to buy the next dip if market cap is around 60 billion usd. But should i not buy the current dip twice? Because what if the bakkt launching next month is succesful? What if it gets followed up by the ETF getting approval in the february sec-decision? What if it all comes paired with new developments that occur? Is this a realistic scenario for short-term?

What would you do, if you were following my plan/policy? I don't buy with large amounts so i can take some losses, what do you think is best?

Now comes the really perfect time to buy good coins, while the price remains at a minimum. I am sure that within a few months we will see a gradual restoration of the former BTC prices. And along with it, some reliable altcoins will rapidly rise in price.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum has begun to show positive trends on: December 20, 2018, 08:30:37 AM
Now the entire crypto market is going through very difficult times. Including we can see a significant drop in prices Ethereum. But this situation is only a temporary problem. Starting next year, reliable cryptocurrencies will begin to restore their successful positions, including I am waiting for a strong appreciation of Ethereum.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: to many poor people? on: December 19, 2018, 08:28:25 AM
Hello,

I recently returned to the world of crypto and noticed something wrong right away, I couldn't put my finger on it until now.

Poor people are ruining crypto. so many people just in the game to get rich and buy lambos, posting broken english or poorly translated post like " what coin x1000 this week, I need ferrari countach"

the forum is filled with these people trying to make pennies spamming shitcoins and scam ICO's

these people dont mine or invest in things they believe in but whatever they think will make them rich. Its like giving homeless people GPU's and telling them they print money.

I think this last correction was needed and many more to kill off a lot of shit coins and lame projects as well as get rid of these poor people in the game just trying to get rich.

"my 1070 only makes $2 a day now!" oh you poor baby! try mining years ago when 5$ a month was huge but didn't matter cause you believed in the project.

/rantover lol

Want to say that this correction was made by a kind of orderly forest? Quite possible. This theory has the right to life, as in this industry has accumulated a really large number of technologically weak projects.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A suggestion for ICO promoters and bounty managers on: December 19, 2018, 08:25:27 AM
Being a member of Bitcointalk for more than 6 years, I am quite a bit bothered by what happening in the bounty section for the past few months. This is what I have noticed:

1. A lot of scam projects are creating bounty campaigns and ANN threads. Once the bounty campaign is finished, they vanish all of a sudden without paying the bounty hunters and leaving the investors in limbo.

2. The quality of the bounty managers have gone down. Junior level members are acting as bounty managers and they often don't update the spreadsheets and sometimes indulge in cheating by enrolling proxy accounts to the campaign.

3. Large number of newbs are signing up for bounty campaigns, often enrolling using purchased Facebook / Twitter accounts (esp. in Social media bounty). The quality of posts being done by the bounty campaign participants have gone down quite a lot during the last few months.

4. Even those bounties which pay end up listing at 80% or 90% discount to their original prices and in the end the honest bounty campaign participants end up with very small rewards. On the other hand, those signing up with 10-12 multiple accounts end up with sizeable rewards. And it is the latter category, which indulges in token dumping.

5. There is no incentive to hold on to the tokens, as a majority of the ICO promoters dump their tokens in the market and vanish. If you check, the vast majority of the listed ICOs are in a dormant or defunct state now.

I have a few suggestions to resolve some of the issues, before the issues go out of hand.

1. There should be a requirement that if anyone want to post an ANN in Bitcointalk, he must deposit 0.1% of the total amount (of the softcap) in an escrow account. For example, if a project is planning to raise $50,000,000 from the investors, then before creating the ANN thread the promoters must deposit $50,000 in either BTC or ETH to an escrow account held by the Bitcointalk staff. If the soft-cap is smaller, like $500,000 then the escrow amount should be 0.1% of that, i.e $500. If the promoters vanish, then this amount should be forfeited. Also, if the promoters go back on their promises once the tokens are listed, then this escrow amount should be frozen and may be (partially) released only if they achieve the objectives which they had promised earlier.

2. There should be a list of approved bounty managers and those outside this list should not be allowed to act in this role. There are a lot of trusted bounty managers here, like Yahoo62278 and Lutpin. I don't think that newbs should be given priority over them.

3. In order to participate in a bounty campaign, it should be mandatory for all the users to post their ETH address in the "Location" field in the profile. I have noticed a large number of spammers using someone else's BTT account and their own ETH address to enroll in to social media bounties. This step will put and end to the practise and will weed out the spammers.

4. All the bounty campaign participants must be carefully screened before the payout. In order to prevent token dumping, a few steps can be taken. Since the bounty reward is 1% to 3% of the total amount, the promoters themselves can purchase this portion from the exchanges. Or they can make the bounty payments in BTC/ETH. There should also be a condition that the promoters should hold on to 90% of their tokens for at least 12 months. (Because I have noticed that it is the promoters who do dumping in the vast majority of the cases, and they blame it on the bounty hunters).

5. KYC must be mandatory for ICO promoters and bounty campaign managers (unless they are on level 2 DT). If this is done, then the scammers won't be able to set up multiple fake ICOs.

I am posting this because now the real impact is becoming obvious. Experienced users are staying away from bounty campaigns and even very promising ICOs are getting listed at heavily-discounted rates. This can't go on forever.

Good ICOs need to be protected from the negativity in the market created by the fake ICOs.
Honest bounty hunters needs to be protected from the cheaters
Properly run bounty campaigns and airdrops should be appreciated and differentiated from the poorly managed ones.

Payments really fell, especially when compared to those that were a year ago. I was still not happy that I was paid $ 500 for one company, wanted more, and now me and$ 200 lead to a smile. Oh, so good time...
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Survive on: December 19, 2018, 08:22:26 AM
In this bearish market, it’s difficult to make profits without thorough research
And almost every portfolio is negative

All I can tell is don’t dump out of fear
Survivor this period and join in packing the dips

Be greedy when others are fearful

No other way as survival is not called. I already trade not for profit, but for the sake of saving my own Deposit, which is reduced day by day and only I can somehow save it. I have little faith in the market.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Concerning the future of bounty programs on: December 18, 2018, 09:44:42 AM
If I were you, I would not make such harsh statements, because no one knows exactly how these projects will behave under other circumstances. The number of scammers has decreased, in view of which you can safely do the selection of favorite projects.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC in 2017 and 2018!! on: December 18, 2018, 09:42:04 AM
It seems to me that Bitcoin in 2017 and 2018 are completely different projects and communities. If in 2017 we saw full synergy and understanding from each other, then 2018 was a year of stumbling when everyone started thinking about how to grab their piece of bread.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth the work and waiting? on: December 17, 2018, 08:15:39 AM
Yours has demonstrated your inadequacy. Personally, I was only at the very beginning of studying this field. You or the beginner, or still haven't learned to estimate qualitatively projects and to devote time only to those who well pay.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it possible that ETH will recover? on: December 17, 2018, 08:13:15 AM
This continuous quarrel about ETH makes me think deeply about it. There are, not sure but I think, over 6000 cryptocurrencies over there and the significant part of them ERC token. This means there is a strong base coming from ETH. However, these projects create a dumping point for the ETH since their ICOs and sales are making with ETH. Is this going to be a strong ground but lower price vicious circle situation? Will there be a chance for ETH to rise beyond its ATH?

I personally don't think any token or coin will replace ETH soon but... There is a strong but here.

I believe that Ethereum is the main disappointment of recent years. Many investors trusted Vitalik and invested in this project , but as it turned out, this project does not want to be decentralized, as promised in the beginning.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Scammer Can affect the ETH price. on: December 17, 2018, 08:10:47 AM
I think this is due to the fact that the average level of intelligence of the Ethereum holder is low, which is why they believe every word of Vitalik and easily succumb to and fall for the tricks of scammers. So it is possible that they have a lot of Ethereum at their disposal.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not give up, you can still make it on: December 14, 2018, 09:08:46 AM
Never get upset! I am sure that it is still worth thinking about the fact that you should always count on the bounty. And now is the best time to decide where to work best
