161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Directbet.eu - what seems to be the reason for the site closure? on: May 22, 2017, 01:22:49 PM
Are you sure ? I can still access the site just fine without that message. It might be that they closed only for your particular country.

edit; just saw this on their thread. Big loss for the sportsbetting community :O
They do have the reason on their thread that they are pursuing other things in life.
But it was surprisingly sudden closing, i mean 2 days ago their community manager said they are the most trusted and number 1 bitcoin sportsbook, next day there was usual free bet announcement and after only 8 hours they decided to close doors? Very strange.

It could be that they had a high roller wipe them out, or their max bet out. It is strange. Could also be some legal trouble which could have come up suddenly, and they have to close to protect themselves.
IMHO, The high fee for a transaction is the main reason why decided to close their website. Today's transaction is very expensive and directbet are really affected by it because they send tons of transaction without any charges to the receiver and they're no account features make this issue bigger to them.

If that was the case, they could have just started charging for the bets. That should fix almost all the things. A lot of other merchant bitcoin sites which used to offer free withdrawals started charging too. Even other gambling websites started charging. I don't think that can be the main reason if the whole venture was profitable for them.

Shocked Really a shock to hear. Been betting on that site for a long time, and to see it now go is a massive shock to the entire sportsbetting community. Hope you guys have success in the other areas of your work and life.

165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Sending a transaction to multiple people with the same fees on: May 20, 2017, 02:47:48 PM
I can't tell you much about online wallets but I know that this is possible using Electrum, Its not a newbie friendly method really but It works just fine. I suggest checking this post to have a better understanding.

Thanks for that post. It seems to be an year old post and says since its not too common, hence GUI doesn't support it. I am imagining it to be much common now, or atleast some online wallet site supporting it. Also is Electrum the only wallet which offers it as of now ?
166  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Sell Bitcoin for 2300 $ at coinsecure.in on: May 20, 2017, 02:38:41 PM
I guess the trust is the big question here. How would people be trusting you ? You didn't even mention anything about the payment method or how you will be paying out people. Also if you can make profit, why not just buy btc from an international exchange and sell it on the India one ?
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Sending a transaction to multiple people with the same fees on: May 20, 2017, 02:27:22 PM
I have never sent the same transaction to multiple people. When I send money to a single person, say I pay 0.0004 in fees. Can I send money to multiple people in the same transaction and pay just one fees for the entire transaction ?

If so, then is there an online wallet which supports this feature ?
168  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io 💰 MAY 25,000+ mBTC Leaderboards ⚽ Regular moneybacks ⚽ on: May 20, 2017, 01:57:20 PM
When I try to bet , It tells The funds isn't sufficient [500] and I does have the funds . What can be the problem ?

I am guessing its probably due to deposit confirmations have not happened yet. They do have live support, why don't you ask there ? Asking on the forum is futile as they don't check here that often.

i had some money in account and just bet sports and they stole all money started with about .015 and got 1.5 over few hours
Post proof, or it didn't happen. No one here would care unless you back this up with proof.
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $0.85 transaction fee is absolutely ridiculous! on: May 20, 2017, 01:54:58 PM
You simply claim that $0.85 transaction fee is absolutely ridiculous, but how about $2,000 bitcoin price?  Smiley

If it's growing that much, the fee increase is also okay to me.

Thats not the right way to see it. If I am a person new to bitcoin and wish to use it, I can't rely on the past price, as thats probably not the price what I acquired it for. I will still be paying 0.85$ for a smaller transaction which is still a lot based on any standards.
170  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎂 Happy Birthday Primedice!! [4 Years] 🎂 on: May 20, 2017, 01:41:10 PM
Congratulations Prime dice Smiley This was my first gambling site that got me introduced to bitcoin, and my first dice site as well. It has always been my go to site and the most trustworthy site on btctalk as well. Hope to see you guys go strong for a long time in the future as well
171  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin die soon? on: May 18, 2017, 06:16:32 AM
The issues of unconfirmed transactions and fees have been disscused so many times on so many threads here. If your transactions are unconfirmed try to speed it up through viabtc.com and for the future choose wallet where you can control the fees.
But this is not the reason the Bitcoin will die, this issue can be solved.

Again, I am not saying it will die because of it. I was just saying that a common man like me who uses bitcoin, does not read forums and threads to be upto date with such services. It definitely hinders adoption specially if you are accepting bitcoin for direct purchases.
172  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin die soon? on: May 18, 2017, 05:49:13 AM
I have sent BTC yesterday but one day passed it is not confirmed, I have raised mining fee, this sucks.

Won't die but this is definitely an inconvenience. Had 2 transactions yesterday which confirmed after 9-10 hours. Even had a fee of 0.002 BTC for a transaction of around 0.4 btc, and still took too much time. I don't send a lot of money but cases like these happen in a short sample size for me. Not sure if this happen with other people too.
173  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - bitcoin sportsbook and casino | BEST NFL and EPL odds anywhere! on: May 18, 2017, 05:48:49 AM
I have proof that Cloudbet is not provably fair and likely rigged in the casino that I will be releasing once I get the authority to do so, and BetSoft is complicit in this. This will finally be the end of this nightmare site

If you do have some proof, I am sure that will come down to only Betsoft being responsible as Cloudbet just uses their service, and doesn't make Cloudbet a scam site as well. This has happened before when a Blackjack dealer of a room provider ended up cheating and Cloudbet just discontinued using them.
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This could be big: US Government considering accepting bitcoin payment on: May 18, 2017, 02:39:07 AM
Probably just a way to track down funds of immigrants as they can't do that for non bitcoin users due to governments of other countries hiding that information.

Either way, a government taking this kind of action has me worried. I see absolutely no reason for them to have any incentive to start accepting bitcoin.

Hey Kyle, sent you a message a few days back, haven't received a reply. Posting here incase it was missed.

Can the bot work on shoes like these: https://www.nike.com/launch/t/air-vapormax-flyknit-day-to-night-collection

These will be dropping soon and are sold on the nike website like other releases.

Thanks!
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Major burglary on: May 15, 2017, 03:40:30 AM
If someone has any amount more than 500$ and plans on getting or trading more in the future, then there is no excuse to not get a hardware wallet or add more protection for his bitcoin. Its like money , and people buy lockers for that. Same goes with bitcoin.
177  Economy / Gambling / Re: ◥◤ NitrogenSports ◢ Largest & Most Trusted BTC Sportsbook ◣ Bet NBA Playoffs ◥◤ on: May 13, 2017, 02:43:36 AM
100 accounts with 10 spots being paid for the 100 hand tourney today.
21 of said accounts where caught cheating to get into this daily event in the last 2 days.
Suspect I can catch 10 more at least if I sat on here earlier in the day.

Do the math.. Embarrassed

Wait, How do the accounts not show up on the IP collusion test ?

I can't imagine someone going to the extent of running 21 or more computers and have vpns involved on all of them just to win a satoshi.

There has to be more behind this.
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: May 13, 2017, 01:45:26 AM
Fees are insane. I paid $6 to transfer 0.4BTC and zero confs in 3 hours.

6$ ? You ended up doing that to yourself. At the current price a fees of around 0.0006 should suffice for 0.4 btc. That is around 1.2$. Why did you pay 6$ of fees for transacting that amount ? It is not that high right now.
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $0.85 transaction fee is absolutely ridiculous! on: May 12, 2017, 03:59:25 PM
I don't like this either... The more price grow higher are transactions fees and one of main reasons I use bitcoin are low transactions fees (instead of 2.4% + 30c lol)

Because the value of bitcoin is so high, the cost of what we pay for is so high, however, that is quite normal. It may be higher than it was in the past, but compared to the amount you paid for cash, it was much lower. So do not regret it.

What are you saying ? How is it normal ? What do you mean by amount paid for cash ? Not everyone buys into bitcoin when it was 1000$/BTC or lower. If I am trnasacting with btc today, then I am spending that dollar amount it is today.
180  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - bitcoin sportsbook and casino | BEST NFL and EPL odds anywhere! on: May 12, 2017, 01:50:00 PM
This was one of my favorite crypto casinos and sportsbook. However,I am not using them for a while....But I heard a lot negative talk about Cloudbet. Are they paying? Is it safe now to gamble here?

Has mixed positive and negative complaints. I believe they are still paying, else they would have a negative trust rating on their profile here already by a default trust member. But its definitely best to consider other options in the mean time if you are unsure.
