2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin sync always behind on: April 11, 2017, 02:34:42 PM
Ok, so it's 0,02% progress per hour, equals now to four weeks continous numbers crunching... that can't be right?

You can restart bitcoin core with  -dbcache=1500  or more depending on your system hardware, it will speedup the process.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining on a 64-Core Intel Xeon beast on: March 14, 2017, 03:27:23 PM
So I have access to all of this latent CPU power -- which sits there and doesn't even break 4% because it runs some outdated pervasive SQL program. Does anyone know of any software out there capable of utilizing this?
Mining BTC with CPU isn't possible but you can try mining some CPU based altcoins, below is list of CPU coins

Primecoin [XPM]
MemoryCoin [MMC]
Quarkcoin [QRK]
QubitCoin [Q2C]
Datacoin [DTC]
Riecoin [RIC]
Chaincoin [CHC]
FairQuark [FRQ]
Frozen [FZ]
Protoshares [PTS]
SecureCoin [SRC]
Your Alternate Currency [YAC]
Darkcoin [DRK]
Vertcoin [VTC]
C-Note [CNOTE]
4  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many times have you've been scammed? on: February 28, 2017, 10:03:11 AM
On the internet a few times like 5 and in my normal life 1 time from people who supposed to be friend.... so watch out...
I have been attempted to scam many times here ,on fiverr but they have failed because I always asked them to use trusted escrow for deal & seller disappear and for fiverr I sent message to their support about seller's behavior and they canceled my buy order.
There is no safe place for buyers, you have to take care yourself and deal wisely.

Hello! I have free space on my signature and i am selling it. You can post your anything to promote here.
The price is 5000 satoshi per post so 0.00005btc for every post
P.S : I know my actual post are low quality and look like spam, but i am not spamming. I writed short messages because thats all i had to say there. If somebody will buy the signature ,my post will have much better quality .
If you need any informations or any suggestions say it. I am a newbie with campaigns and signature space.

Why don't you try joining open signature campaigns for your rank?

There are some campaigns that are accepting member ranked users and paying better then you asking here if you make good quality posts.

10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If bitcoin prices rise up to $100,000, will you still gamble using bitcoins? on: December 20, 2016, 11:45:18 AM
When that time comes that the price of bitcoins will be $100,000 will you still gamble in casinos and sports books?

If the price of bitcoin is $100,000

0.001BTC/1mBTC/100,000Satoshi = $100
0.0001BTC/0.1mBTC/10,000Satoshi = $10
0.00001BTC/0.01mBTC/1,000Satoshi = $1

1 Satoshi = $0.001

Yes,off course.I would still gamble using satoshis.

That`s why bitcoin is so convenient for gambling purposes.

Why are you asking this question?
Investing money in bitcoin it itself a big gamble and if bitcoin hit $100k price then it will best bet for most of the users of this forum.Personally I will keep gambling even if bitcoin hit this price but my bet size will depend on bitcoin's price.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we start new year in $800+ or remain in $700+ on: December 06, 2016, 09:59:03 AM
its a good to reach $800 in the new year, but its 25 days again into new year and i am not sure we can see that price because bitcoin has not been getting up for signifant in a week later. so maybe will stick around in the $760-$790, but if its more than $790 then the chances to go into $800 will possible.
We can reach 800$ level easily, 25 days are more then enough to reach this level.I think bitcoin will keep increasing in 2017 too.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: October 20, 2016, 02:27:11 PM
Hello All,

What you think is the best investment to gain steady income in btc without actively doing anything?
So no trading/gambling/loaning etc.

Steady income more likely to be 'small & secure' than 'big & risky'.

BR Oinas

steady income in bitcoin without activity doin anything
you can lending your bitcoin but still few activity
if you investment in cloud mining you can still activity, you must login to website request withdraw coinfirm withdraw to inbox email

if you want growth money you must still activity, maybe few activity doing but must still activity

It needs some work also to make it simple. It doesnt make you rich just by sitting and doing nothing. You need to work for it, be flexible and maintain a low risk in every transaction so losing will not be an option.
Best way to have an steady income is by working everyday 5 times a week then you are going to make sure that you have money in your pockets every month.
It would not be possible for me to have a steady income with bitcoin but maybe some people do.
People who are full time in bitcoins are earning a good amount from it but in no way it can be steady as their income will depend on the price of bitcoins, sometimes higher and lower sometimes.
yeah it's a bit unstable if you would rely on bitcoin for steady income although it's possible through signature campaigns but I don't think it would be enough to support a family the way a regular job would.

Earning from signature campaign is a good source to earn passive income but we cannot depend  only on it for living as that income would not be sufficient to take care of entire family.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: October 20, 2016, 02:25:39 PM
Selling of everything is just applicable if you don't have last option and you really badly need money for it. And for me if it comes for bitcoin.

Selling bitcoin is not going to be a good decision as the price of bitcoin is still not good as anyone is expecting. Just wait for more increase.

That will happen for the next month's.

Selling everything is not a smart move to make but never selling them also doesn't make any sense, if the current price is allowing me to make good profits then I will surely sell some part of it.
Sure, you are making good sense in your idea. I also do not believe that everything to be sold. At least if you want to make profit you should like 60% of of it if it commands good profit and keep 40% because you are not sure the price may still go higher which means more profit for you for not selling all at once.

Well that is the perfect strategy to follow, save some of them for future as you said that price can even go higher in future so we can sell them at that price to gain higher profits.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: October 20, 2016, 02:23:46 PM
Are they not 2 sides of the same coin?  Investing is saving, and saving is investing...
Spending or Saving would be a question...

You have the point on it, because in crypto currency if you are going to save then you are already investing for your future.

Well that is going to be a good question for spending or saving. And I would go choose for saving and don't spend for the things that you don't need.

So that you are going to have good savings.
But it should be clearly known that while saving in ciryptocurrency can bring you profit, investing tends to be more profitable because in this regard you buying at low price and selling at higher price following market trend on daily basis unlike saving that you keep the coin and expect to sell in future date.

Holding bitcoin will give you good profits only if price goes higher in future but investing them in different alts will allow you to grow your coins and will also give regular profits.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you always missed the right time to sell/buy bitcoin? on: October 20, 2016, 02:21:57 PM
I do but not always.  Grin A lot of time actually. It is hard to predict what could happen with bitcoin and a lot more with altcoins. Many have tried to predict but most of the time they fail. I remember one in facebook which is paying if you guess the right price. Out of the many comments it is like 5% are right but it is just a guess without facts provided.
yes i also have the same situation, for some time i do trad on right time and it really give me good profit but some other time it is not so much profitable and it cast  a big lost.

Its impossible to match the perfect timing every time as we don't know what will happen next in bitcoins and majority of times we may buy or sell bitcoins at the wrong time.
16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do you think is a good time to start trading ? on: October 20, 2016, 02:19:21 PM
If  you have knowledge and money to invest then you can start trading at any point of time, there is no fixed time table to join, you can start anytime when you feel that your are confident and comfortable.
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you put all your money into bitcoin? on: October 20, 2016, 02:15:24 PM
I just put in what I need at the moment to grow my coins, but I also cash out once I made more.
But the price is too high last months for me to take any big risks and speculate on short term.
Did you put all your money into bitcoin? Don't put all save alteast when you need physical money in emegencies you have some. And that's good when you cash out once when you made profit from your earnings well big risk doesn't mean you can really earn from that things sometimes it just about lucks.  Grin
Put all your money in bitcoin if you want your life to be ruin in the future, bitcoin is an investment and every investment has a chance to succeed or failed and think about this one, what if the outcome is a failure, then you will have a big problem, right?
Exactly, its never wise to put all your money in any single investment either bitcoin or any other, as its a big risk of loosing everything at once if your investment fails in future.
And i don't anyone would actually put all their money in bitcoin. You still need actual money for your daily expenses and bitcoin is not accepted as a regular currency in a lot of countries yet.

That's right we cannot afford to invest all our money in bitcoins as we also need fiat for our basic needs and the fact is we are not sure whether bitcoins will bring profits for us or not in near future.
Correct and I think its always good to diversify your investments by putting your money in multiple products so even if one investment fails you can recover your loss from other.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is 1000 btc Possible on: October 20, 2016, 02:12:26 PM
Nothing is impossible in real world if you work hard and put honest efforts in it but its very high amount to expect and that can be achieved only if you have good capital to invest.
19  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: October 20, 2016, 02:07:38 PM
For me the best way to grow my coins is from trading as I am a full time trader and I am growing my coins with it since long time, sometimes I also go through loss too but its an part and parcel of trading I guess.
Trading altcoins into another coins is really good to start earning money and if you are full time trading you can really grow your bitcoin that fast since then the fact is your experience is growing and your critical thinking is good and the step by step you can really do what ever you want in trading investment.
which is very difficult at the start but learning it from here will give you big edge to successfully grow your bitcoin.
Learning  new things is always good and that knowledge with stay you for a lifetime and you should also keep on learning from your mistakes which will make you better trader in future.
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Safest way to sell bitcoins? on: October 20, 2016, 02:04:11 PM
I will always prefer to sell them on localbitcoins site as it is the best and the safest place to sell bitcoins and it hardly takes few minutes to transfer money to your bank account.
