641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Luck and skill, which is more important for gambling success? on: November 28, 2023, 09:33:30 AM
Luck.

Even you've analyze the game, familiar with the game and choose the best possibility in order to win, but shit can happen because of luck. While someone who doesn't understand about the game and bet on a random team can win because they're lucky.
But that doesn't happen all the time, you will barely see a team that has great players and is mostly consistent with their game losing to a lower side all the time but it might happen once in a blue moon which is very rare. So, when it comes to sports betting, we can't say that luck is more important for gaining success because your knowledge and experience will play a greater role in this part of gambling since you need to know the teams and their players to be able to choose the best side.

The ones who win by randomly choosing a side can't do that with all the games because they are guessing. I'll give you an example, take two people, give them a paper with 20 MCQs on it, and out of the two people, one has a lot of knowledge about what the questions are about and the other one has no knowledge at all. So the one with zero knowledge will mark the answers with guesses while the other one will mark the right answers except for a couple that he didn't know. Now, who will have a higher chance of having marked more correct answers?
642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was This Client Kidnapped for Their Coins? on: November 28, 2023, 06:21:53 AM
Though I can't say that something like that cannot happen, it still sounds strange that a person would pay such a high amount upfront for work they are getting done online while being in contact with the seller privately without having any third-party or escrow involved which could reduce the chances of getting scammed because you could easily take the money and block the guy without completing and sending the work and he could obviously do nothing much about that, maybe the agreements had something which could prevent that from happening but since we don't know we'll assume the possible.

Like a few other members, I'm also curious to know what happened about the project, whether you've completed the work and sent it or delayed the delivery since the guy went missing. Though I don't want to blame you for it, it all seems like a made-up story at some points, true at some.
643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can loneliness make one addicted to gambling on: November 27, 2023, 05:14:32 PM
Yes of course, most especially if you already have an experience with it. Chances are, that it'll cross in your mind. This is why we are often advised to socialize when we want to skip a bad habit.

For someone who says they don't gamble because it's fun, I find that weird. But did you mean to write that? Or maybe there is only a typo with it? If you mean it, then maybe it is true that they are addicted and they are only avoiding it. If I'm making $600 a day, well thank you. That was a lot of money already for me. I am playing gambling up until now, but in moderation only. Although that may change, now that my earnings have also increased.
644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Something you don't have to forget on: November 27, 2023, 03:45:20 PM
I think there are still people who manage to hit that threshold even though they are kind a bit late. For those who are not wealthy enough, they can always do it slowly. If they are consistent, I'm sure they will soon reach that value. Even if not, there is still no problem with that. You don't really have to say this because those who are involved in crypto already know this fact.

This is why there are now so many new coins and people invests on them because they believe they will be the next Bitcoin. If you are only talking about password, it was actually recoverable. But if it was about the private keys and seed phrases, then it is not possible. So yeah, we should keep them securely.
645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the rich win gambling more than the poor. on: November 27, 2023, 11:39:19 AM
Most games would have a maximum bet, so even the richest person cannot go past that.

Also, it only takes one bad game and the entire money is out.

The games in casinos have the odds favorable to them, so in the end casinos will always win, no matter how big or small the bets are.
Some people don't understand that, they think that if a person has a lot of money as their bankroll, they would never lose money because no matter how many bets they lose consecutively, they can still recover all the money by increasing the bet size after each loss without realizing that there is a certain limit for the max bet in each game and once you reach that limit, you can't double your bet anymore and it is not a big thing for a gambler to hit a loss streak enough to make them hit that limit.

Once you hit the max bet size limit, you can't double the bet anymore and when you can't do that, you won't be able to recover the overall amount that you've lost and you will have to just bet the maximum amount and if you still lose one or two bets at that point, you won't be able to recover it anymore. So, there will be no point in the whole recovering thing.
646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever heard about financing a gambler? on: November 27, 2023, 11:02:33 AM
Interesting topic and discussion. I was watching a slot streamer earlier today named Syztmz and he was also discussing this topic and he made a very good point. He said, when you give money to a gambler, there are 2 possible outcomes:

1. The person will return your money
2. Money is gone

Now in both scenarios, the person giving out the money isn't earning anything but risking to lose the entire amount for absolutely no gain. Simple and straight.
647  Economy / Economics / Re: #HODLing is not a smooth journey on: November 27, 2023, 05:12:52 AM
But holding enough for the first time crypto users because they have less experience in crypto, due to which they do not understand trading mining, so without understanding it is not possible to do anything from crypto. A friend of mine first came to crypto and he bought and collected bitcoin but also he is always practicing trading so that he can make good profit in future. I never advise him to invest but i always give him ideas about crypto which I think is really appreciated.
Trading is only difficult if a person doesn't have a mind that can grasp ideas or someone who doesn't have much knowledge about technology and online stuff and has just recently started using Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies after joining the internet a short while ago. There are people who are usually away from technology and such things, they might have mobile phones or computers but they don't know much about them or know how they can use things, get into technical aspects, or even learn things themselves by exploring.

If that isn't the case, the person should be able to learn about trading and trading practices after a while if they dedicate some time and put in some effort. All it needs is focus and a basic understanding of the things which isn't easy to get for someone who is a learner and loves exploring things and learning new experiences.
648  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽️🔥 Good Sport Betting manual🔥⚽️ on: November 26, 2023, 05:53:59 PM
It is the element of luck, we can`t predict everything. If we can predict the result with guarantee - no one bookie would allow you to bet. They have no chances in such situation. But as we know - the house always win.

I try to wait at least 10-15 minutes from the start before bet. For this time i can understand if my analyze ok, or something was changed and i`m mistaken.
No matter how harder we have tried in everything that partains gambling, we still need the luck charm to work for us, it's not by how well we have been so used to gambling or playing a particular game, we have to realize that reading and careful study of the sporting manual or attending it's activities is not perfect enough as well to have a winning experience or performance than when we have luck work on us.
Of course my results depends on luck. If all my bets is ok and bookie gives nice odds - i can bet 5 times a week and get at least $500. But mostly i bet several times per day, sometimes win, sometimes lose and as result get $100-$150 per week. Not always of course, but i count all the results. Medium result is about it.
$100 to $150 per week from sports betting isn't bad at all, however, the results of your bets in sports betting shouldn't depend solely on luck because that's for gambling games where skills and experience don't matter but when it comes to sports betting, your knowledge, and experience about the sport you are betting on, matter a lot, since your research and analysis about that sport will almost give you a clear idea about which side will win the match or play better game.

So, if you are betting 5 times a week but making calculated bets where you know which side will have an advantage for whatever reason known to you based on your experience and knowledge, you should win more bets than the ones you lose unless you become extremely unlucky and favorite sides lose easy matches which doesn't happen all the time.
649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dangerous chasing losses on: November 26, 2023, 05:22:21 PM
Wtf. That’s a marathon. This is one of the challenges that even legends fall for. You stake your game to simply make a little more and when it cuts, you start trying to recover what was lost. I think one of the things that can initiate the feeling of trying to recover losses is when you gamble with a big amount of money. Because if you gamble with relatively small amount, what’s there to try and recover? If you lose, you’ll simple let the crumbs go and play again (if you want, and with no pressure to recover anything).
I think it has nothing to do with the amount one is using for gambling but it's all about one's mindset. A person who is gambling just for fun and has $5,000 might not try and recover their losses even if they are betting $10 on a single bet, whereas a person having $100 as their overall bankroll but playing to earn money can't ignore their losses even if the base bet is in cents and will always try to recover what has been lost because they don't want to lose anything from their bankroll but gain more on top of it.

So, the idea of recovering losses comes when the person is considering their bankroll as capital and is trying to increase the amount without realizing that gambling is going to take it all away because casinos are not there to provide us with profits but they are businesses that take profit for themselves from us.
650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot games are a waste of time and money (most of the time) on: November 26, 2023, 04:41:10 PM
What about you?
Well man, this year I was lucky with the slots, I had a few positive sessions and I also got free spins from a previous signing campaign that were quite profitable, yes, they had no wagering requirements and if they gave me $25 in free spins and I won $100 with them I was able to withdraw them instantly.

But in general you have to be very careful because the slots are quite addictive and you can make a lot of money with them. Besides, they are usually the most profitable game for casinos.
Haha yeah, free spins are cool though in most cases, you end up winning nothing but sometimes like in your case, you can get lucky. I play at Bitsler and they give free spins and chests often and I'm yet to win anything significant lol.

Coming back to the topic of whether slots are a waste of money, No I don't think so, because slots are more fun in general. I don't know how people find any thrill or fun rolling the dice or dropping plinko balls all day. But when you are playing slots like Wanted, Warrior Graveyard you are always at the edge of the seat when those vs vs vs might drop Cheesy.
651  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: November 26, 2023, 04:19:50 PM
It’s ironic because the casino you are promoting on signature code is one example of the casino he is talking about. Stake is offering weekly reload through special link on their telegram channel.

Shuffle on the other hand provides a claim button for instant rakeback and milestone achievement reward. Btw I’m already 57% to rank up to silver VIP. I hit a break recently after winning big on the side bet which I forgot to share here.
Haha yeah .. Shuffle reminds me of a young st*ke. Now the latter has stopped caring for their players and invested heavily into kick and .us shit. I am honestly glad a solid competitor has shown up and doing was missing lately.

I claimed the deposit bonus and took a while to get the wagering done tbh but it was a cool experience and got to try all the games.

For everyone interested in shuffle merchandises, shuffle is planning for a massive merchandise giveaway. Soon it will be launched.
Saw your guys are super active on TW, throw some there!
652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beginner needs your advices in gambling. on: November 25, 2023, 06:58:46 PM
Gambling is not child's play because you beyond any doubt lose money thats why it's said to be an activity not meant for everyone.  As a beginner you should be conscious of your self control, make a limit in the percentage you will be able to use from your income and learn to stick to it from the start so you can get use to keeping to your own rules as you continue gambling. There are days that you will have streaks of losses, never chase the losses you can recover another day when luck is in your side. For a casino to make use of there are many reputable casinos in the forum, you can also check out the casino am promoting in my signature you'll love it.
Gambling is for the most of us just like any other activity we do to obtain some fun, however there are still some precautions people need to take if they do not want to find some problems during their journey, with the most important by far being simply accepting that gambling is not something we do in order to make money, but something we do just to have some fun, now it is true that we get more fun when we obtain profits, but that cannot be our main goal because if it is then we will most likely use too much money while we gamble and suffer losses we were not expecting at the time.
The harsh reality is that the majority of people don't gamble to have fun but they gamble to earn money from it even though it's unfortunate, it's true, and it's the reason why so many people lose everything in gambling because they start with the aim of earning money and once they start losing, they try to chase their losses to recover their bankroll because it's like capital for them that they are using to earn money but it never works out and they keep losing more every single time they try to recover the previous losses.

So, those who understand that gambling isn't a way to earn money and gamble just for fun are blessed because they won't have to go through a lot of hard ships because of their gambling activities, they lose some and keep moving forward without chasing the losses and that's the right thing to do.
653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Low cost but effective solutions to gambling addiction on: November 25, 2023, 06:28:33 PM
The family or even a close friend can help them get away from their addiction once they admit it and become ready to accept the challenge. If you are addicted to gambling but aren't allowing anyone to get you out of it, you will barely be able to do it yourself because the urge won't let you.
most families can't do anything. Advising is useless if he still handles the finances himself. If someone want to find a solution when any advice and threaphy doesn't works, the only thing is not to save his own money. It may be difficult, but entrusting money to someone who can trust can help overcome gambling addiction problems. For example, if the gambler trusts his wife, then he can entrust all his money to her. As long as there is clear accounting of expenses, everything should be controlled. Or by the parents, because the role of parents in saving their children's money is also very good, especially mothers. assuming, his wife and parents are not gambling addicts either.
What you are talking about is also a sort of help being provided by the family, so we can't say that families can't do anything because the first group of people that would want someone to get out a problem would be the family of that person because there are blood relations in a family and no mother, father, brother, sister, or even wife and children would want their beloved to be stuck in a problem but if he does, the family will always be there for him.

So, if a person admits in front of their family that they are addicted to gambling and that they are spending a lot of time and money on it but they are tired of it and they want to get rid of the addiction. I'm pretty sure that any family would become ready to do anything they can to get the guy out of the problem.
654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Got hacked, lost 11 BTC on: November 25, 2023, 01:02:43 PM
I'm sorry to hear about your loss, but I would say that you shouldn't have kept such a large amount in a personal device that you and maybe others have access to. If I had 11 Bitcoins, which is more than $400k based on the current price of Bitcoin, I would spend some money and buy a hardware wallet and keep them in that instead just to make sure that my Bitcoins are more safe and secure from things like malware or keyloggers and any other stuff that can cause me the loss of my assets through the internet.

Though it might not be possible for you to get your money back now when it's gone, you should try and find out how it happened, and who knows, maybe someone around you has done it, someone whom you told about your Bitcoins and that they are stored in your personal computer and they got access to it somehow. The world is different these days, you can't trust anyone when it comes to finances.
655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stop the self entitlement claims on others gamblers winnings. on: November 25, 2023, 10:32:14 AM
So why then should anyone be demanding for a share in the winnings when they don't have any direct connection to the winning or have committed any finances while the gambler takes the risk to win the amount,  so regardless one needs to be determined to remain focused and not be at obligation to give them any share.
Well said but I think it is more of the practice with the offline kind of gambling. It depends on the gambler to know what he wants to part with and nobody mandates him only his conscience and perhaps they do that either because they have also shared from that of others.

But like you said and pointed out regards to online gambling, that is the advantage. When you bet online, you have your privacy and nobody knows when you lose or win. But the risk and temptation of continuous playing is high to play online except you have a good level self control to stay with your budget.
As long as a gambler doesn't have someone accompanying them in the casino, they can hide their wins and losses that they get in a land-based casino as well. They should go alone, gamble, and come back without letting anyone know about it, and even if people come to know that he goes into the casino, he shouldn't let them know the amounts that they have won and lost because that is when things start to become bad if you tell the people about them.

If you tell people that you have won a significantly high amount in gambling, you will start seeing people coming to see you the next day and most of them will come only to ask you for money since they know that you have a lot of it because you have let them know which is what a gambler shouldn't do.
656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this a good advice? on: November 25, 2023, 09:03:24 AM
Real gamblers know when to stop; they have self-principles that guide them; they don't gamble off the amount which will hurt their emotions.
Do you mean that a person who gambles more often and has no self-control is not a real gambler? That's not how you label gamblers because there are either responsible gamblers or irresponsible gamblers and there is nothing like a real gambler or a fake gambler, etc. A person who has no self-control and patience and always gambles more money than they should be irresponsible gamblers while the opposite of that are responsible gamblers because they know when to stop and what their limits are.

Among all gamblers, the majority are irresponsible because gamblers usually tend to be compulsive and they can't control the urge when they are either winning or losing, they always want to win more when winning and recover their losses when losing and both of these things contribute in making them irresponsible gamblers.
657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 40 Twitch accounts for gambling advertising on: November 24, 2023, 09:21:50 PM
So I once worked for a company where I reached out to streamers what I know is that there are three models they work with.

A. Paid promotion which is essentially like a small video/script they talk in their video + commission share on their link
B. You pay them video fees, they take some balance in a locked account to play & depending on their fame they take some % + commission share on their link
C. You directly add $$ to their account which they wager on stream + commission share on their link

They take anywhere from $100-$1000 this is for micro to small influencers, say maybe upto 50K subs. No idea what happens above that. They mostly very genuine people who care about their community.
I believe the commission share you are talking about is the referral commission? If yes, then the referral commissions would obviously be theirs even if they are not collaborating with the casino or running a promotion for them and just add their link during the stream so that they can get some active referrals and earn commission on that. The main thing is the payment and other stuff that they receive from the casino platforms asking them for promotion.

So, based on that, a streamer or a content creator with more than 500K followers or subscribers must earn a great amount for each stream of video that they create for their partnering casino, and those who have more than a million must be charging more than $10k per stream for sure which is huge.
658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The love in football on: November 24, 2023, 07:04:15 PM
Why do people love football more than any other sports
Can there be any specific answer to that question? You just like things because you enjoy them, there shouldn't always be something in general about that thing to make people love it and the same thing goes for any sport. If you don't love tennis, it doesn't mean there is something that you don't like in the sport but it's just that you enjoy watching another sport and not tennis, so you just generally don't like it, and I think the same thing is for football because it's a thrilling and enjoyable sport and people love watching it.

There can be people though who will say that they like a sport for something very specific like maybe a player that plays that sport or maybe a team that they like or maybe some other thing, but for the majority, I'm sure there is no specific feature that makes everyone love it but it's just the game that they love watching.
659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in psychic betting? on: November 24, 2023, 11:54:39 AM
These are all superstitions and there is no reality in any of them. All the predictions that turn out to be are coincidental and not because the animals or the leaders or anyone has predicted them. I do believe that one can see the future in a dream, but most of the time, the visions in the dream are not clear enough to give you an exact indication of what might happen so that you can act upon that and you can barely find a person who can tell you the accurate outcome of your dream.

So, if someone says that they've seen a certain thing happening in their dream and then it actually happened, I might believe it because I know that happens, but apart from that, all the predictions and everything and people pretending to be experts of this field are all lies and myths and carry no reality.
660  Economy / Gambling / Re: QuitGamble.com - Free Help for Problem Gamblers on: November 24, 2023, 10:01:15 AM
I think it would be better for casinos too if there were no gambling addicts. If everyone was gambling responsibly, the negative connotation surrounding gambling would disappear and without it online casinos would surely get more customers in the end. After all, their aim is to make profit, not to create problems for people.
I don't think that the negative connotation stops people from gambling or makes new gamblers stay away from it, so that isn't a reason why casinos would want everyone to become responsible gamblers but they would want every gambler to keep spending as much money as they can because they know once the money has entered their bankroll, there is nothing that can take it away from them even if the gambler starts spreading negative news about them.

Casinos, their owners, and the management barely care about gamblers' sentiments or their personal lives. All they care about is their businesses and they are not wrong about that. If I were running a business, I would surely want every customer to come and use my business and products as much as possible since that will bring more revenue for me and my business.
