941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 23, 2023, 03:06:23 PM
Since this match will be held at Manchester City's ground, the team will get a lot of advantage and the performance of Manchester City team is much ahead of the opposition team, so it can be understood that Manchester City is likely to win this match by a big margin.
Nottingham Forest is too weak a team for Manchester City. It looks like Manchester City will win by a large margin at the Etihad Stadium. Two goals occurred within 7 minutes with a very neat goal process. This confirms that Man City will get an easy win at the Etihad Stadium. Foden's goal and Haaland's goal really impressed me. In my opinion, both goals were goals with extraordinary technique.
Manchester City almost added a goal in the 26th minute through Alvarez's kick.
A free kick is awarded to Manchester City now in the arena so close to the goalkeeper's line. Unfortunately, Alvarez didn't manage to do it well.
It's been 43 minutes of the game.
Even in last few matches, they have done good job but still there is no competition between these two teams, and we already have 2 early goals but after conceding two goals now Nottingham is doing good job and their defence is trying to have not good number of goals against them in this match.

Now as we are in half-time of this match, score is still 2 - 0 with 30 minutes good time for the Nottingham as they are able to stop Citizens for having more goals against them specially they are doing good job to stop Haaland from having enough space.

In two other matches, we are having nothing with all four teams are struggling for scoring goals and result is 0 - 0 even Wolves is playing with ten men against Luton.

Gamblers at their teenage, do many mistakes. But it doesn't mean they are bad. Actually sociaty always treated gamblers as suspicious and so was happen with your newbie. She wasn't sure her momey was stolen or not but suspicious mind force her to believe such thing. actually when it comes to gamblers, people are too quick to judge them without trying to reveal the trusth. Let gamblers have some time figure it out. My perception about them is that, your nephew would grow up soon with hard experience and then he'll set his mind to figure out which is good and bad for him. Until that, give him just one advice is to control himself during gambling, only stake what he can afford as he also said already
Not all the gamblers are the teenagers, with my experience most of the population of the gamblers are from the 40+ age category of gamblers. After the stress from their job at the work, the most seeking entertainment will be the gambling. The gambling is like the drug to satisfy at their 40+ ages,So they will gamble with the money from all their expenses. Most of the experienced gamblers will choose the free money after their spending to their food and their family medical expenses.Because the medical expenses is not the permanent one,the medical free months money can be used by the gamblers on gambling.
A person who is working and has a job and is earning an income either on a monthly or weekly basis will actually have a specific percentage of their salary allocated for their gambling activities if they do it for fun or get some entertainment, and they don't really need to wait for a month or a week when they don't have a certain expense and use the money they have saved from that on gambling, for most people, that isn't what they do if they gamble.

Things like that are done by people who don't earn enough to have a separate budget for their gambling activities, so what they do is they keep looking for days or weeks or months when they can save some money and then use that money for gambling but such people don't really do it just for fun.
943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin dominace on: September 23, 2023, 06:36:23 AM
That's expected, the whole market is anticipating a bull run next year after the halving event, and thus people are starting to accumulate as many Bitcoins as they can when the price is still low, and some might even divert their investments from other assets into Bitcoin because of the potential it has. The market cap dominance of Bitcoin will keep going up until we enter the bull run and then when the price starts crashing, altcoins will also get a fair share.

But, what you are calling a bull run isn't actually a bull run. If the price keeps going up and doesn't drop at all, that will mean that we are in the bull run. However, the current price doesn't really show much signs of that and we are not yet in the bull run, if the price manages to go above the previous resistance at $31k, then we might expect something.
944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | Qualifiers on: September 22, 2023, 08:16:51 PM
Athens winning that one looks a bit weird among other two. I feel like Brighton played so great so far both last season and also this season as well so people would be expecting them to play a lot better than that. Conceding three goals from Athens seem terrible to be fair and they need to bounce back from this and do a lot better.

There is still time, this is the first game so there is no rush, but if they want to do better, they need to recover from this and do a lot better. That is the only way to get out of this group stage, they do not have too many games, so this was the only one they could have made a mistake, now they have no chances left to make any mistakes and should win all the games they have to win in order to go up.
945  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your anticipation on bitcoin market capitalization as for 2030 on: September 22, 2023, 01:24:09 PM
I don't wanna jump that fast mate because there are even longer that we need to wait like 2024 halving and the 2028 .
why jump fast in 2030 ? this is not that actually why we have to understand , instead we must develop our trust for the next halving.
why have you asked this? are you planning also to invest for that long term?
Maybe he already has the intention to invest in the long term so he asks for a price prediction which looks like a very far jump without looking at the two clear halving periods that will occur before 2030. But on the one hand I think that for now he is already thinking about predictions for the year 2030, our own brain and mental energy will be drained more because in fact everyone will also take advantage of the halving moment by ignoring things that are not important and still have more time to think about it after the 2024 halving occurs.
If it was me, it wouldn't take long to decide to invest for the long term because after I check the price history of Bitcoin, I'm then convinced that the coin can only become stronger the more the days, weeks, and so on.. have passed. A lot of us aware that the halving can cause for a price to rise and maybe he also know that fact so he just skipped it and his concerns for now are on the unknown dates. It's indeed taxing to think about it.

It's better to just be calm and prepare for what to happen. If the price dips just HODL or buy more and if it pumps then great. You can now decide if you will sell some or sell all, or continue to HODL for an even better return.
946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Share Your Experience About Casinos You Found Here on: September 22, 2023, 09:44:14 AM
1. Useless support. When they provide inaccurate information or can't assist you with anything.
4. Bonuses that I never asked. When I deposit and see a bonus active I need to contact support to cancel it.
5. Technical issues.
These three trigger me the most and I think the majority would agree. Playing on a newly established online gambling casino one of the most essential parts of their business is their gambling platform. Back then there was a site where it has a good interface but very poor execution. There is a button for technical support but always offline or redirecting to another page full of advertisements smh. That's my first one, second is when you are stacking bonuses, not always ut there are times that it is automatically being used, however again you cannot contact technical issues. Whenever there is a problem for your information or updates o the website, it is very difficult to reach them. It's the entertainment that I am for when I do gambling that is why when I bet, I expect the best possible experience.
A good customer support team is an essential part of a gambling platform to gain success in the industry because they can only retain their customers if the customers are satisfied with their services, otherwise, they will simply stop using their platform and go for another one and that is a big loss for the platform. If I'm gambling on a platform and I face a technical issue and when I contact the support, they don't respond or get it solved quickly, I will probably not prefer that platform for gambling next time.

That's why, casinos need to make sure that their customer support is top-notch if they want to stay within the race in this competitive market, because every single gambler likes a platform that has the best customer support and they don't need to way for days or weeks for a simple issue to get resolved.
947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: September 22, 2023, 09:19:55 AM
Kids do whatever they see their parents doing, so it's not only about gambling but anything that isn't to be learned by kids shouldn't be done in front of them. Upbringing plays a great role in shaping the future of a child whether it's a girl or a boy. If parents teach their kids good things and avoid showing them or letting them watch things that aren't appropriate for their age, they will surely not get involved in activities that might be harmful to them in the long run.

That's why, as parents, it's important for us to be careful with all these things. We should keep telling them what isn't good for them and they shouldn't do that, I think we should also not tell them that they can do that once they reach a certain age because that will only make them curious and they may want to try it before that time this way but they won't do it if we tell them it isn't for them and they should stay away from it.
948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the drive that makes women go into gambling? on: September 22, 2023, 06:01:23 AM
There is basically nothing gender specific in this thing, both men and women are dragged into gambling for the same reasons, they are either looking for an escape from the outer world, from the stresses and sadness that have surrounded them, the loneliness that never goes away, or for some it's merely a source for entertainment when they have money and want to do something with it, they think of playing some gambling games and having some fun.

There is one other group of people that get into gambling only with the purpose of making money with the money that they already have. This is caused either by greed or due to wishes and desires that can't be fulfilled by a regular day job and the person might be thinking that they might win something significant from it.
949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: September 21, 2023, 08:21:45 PM
Whenever a team is given 1.16 to win, that never felt like a good idea to bet to me. I get that it may look good to some people because it's almost like there is a guaranteed win, but I do not think that it will be as good as people think it will be. I hope that it gets to a point where we could see them make some changes, and for that to exist we need to reach to a point where we could end up with a great result one way or another.

I hope that we could see it change a bit, and the odds get better. As long as these big name clubs in this league end up having this much advantage, the only games that worth betting on is the ones that are between each other. That is the only thing that makes sense for me to bet on.
950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free spins are also a demo in disguise? on: September 21, 2023, 06:02:45 PM
However, unfortunately there are still many gamblers who are too interested in this kind of promotion even though it is very clear that it is just a promotion to attract the attention of other gamblers to try the casino.
I won't say that the promise is like a trap, but indeed promotions always exaggerate, but when you want to get the promotion you have to be able to meet the conditions that must be met and with curiosity and encouragement to get free spins, gamblers try to do it but fail to reach the specified conditions and promotions like This also exists in any casino, especially new casinos.

Yes, there may still be some gamblers who have succeeded in achieving these requirements, but only a small number are lucky because currently casinos are very strict and have very difficult conditions and remember, casinos don't want to lose.
That's because the promotions they see are very attractive so they are tempted to try to get the promotion so they will deposit more money because of the promotions they see. Some promotions have wagering requirements so they have to fulfill them. After they get the free spins, they then play it and hope to get a lot of money but it will depend on luck so they can just wait for the results to come out.

Some gamblers have achieved these requirements and earned a lot of money as a result. However, many gamblers fail to meet that requirement because they lose and spend a few dollars. So they should understand whether what they are doing is worth it or just a waste of money so they don't have to try to get those free spins.
Not some but all promotions and bonuses come with a certain wagering requirement, it's usually pretty high for the reason that gamblers shouldn't be able to complete it with just the amount that they've deposited because if they complete the wagering requirement successfully with the bonus and the deposited amount, they will be able to stay in profit and make a withdrawal successfully, but if they lose and fail to do that, the casino won't lose anything.

The wagering requirements are usually very high that a user can barely be able to complete it. Imagine making a deposit of $200 to get a $400 bonus and having to complete a 20x or more wagering requirement which means you will have to wager $12k to be able to make a withdrawal which is insane and you will lose everything before that.
951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Gambling Sites and Bug/Exploit Reporting and Rewards. on: September 21, 2023, 05:20:23 PM
This type of transparency will benefit everyone. Users will be more safe with extra testing. People who find exploits are less likely to exploit if they know they can be compensated for the find. The industry overall will benefit from this.
Casinos and exchanges should have a bug bounty, one of the main reasons is they already have a dedicated team for this and the administrator is paying these people to fix bugs and patch and if they post that they have a bug bounty they will be targeted by hackers for exploits because hackers will think that they do not have an internal security to fix exploits.

Casinos and exchange especially the big one will only test for security flaws and bugs prior to their launching and from there they are going to monitor the script or theme for possible exploits so if there is a bug it will be fixed soon by their team or the casino will suffer from too many glitches because of failure to fix the bugs.
That's interesting but I think I still see a lot of websites who have a bug bounty or sometimes called a feedback reward which I think can work the same according to their description. Most of these sites are not really that well known and as for the ones who are already at the top, I think they already done a lot of upgrades and their system is already at a good condition. That may be the reason on why they don't offer a bug bounty anymore.

IDK if it was the OP but I saw a thread last time which the user said that the his bug reports are only being ignored by the casino. We are not sure if they do, or maybe they already take note of the message and fixed it, but the user must be compensated.
952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting significant amount on: September 21, 2023, 03:24:59 PM
For someone who considers gambling a source of fun or some entertainment, things like these are definitely worth it because you will feel like riding on a lot of mixed emotions and the thrill is absolutely out of this world. You make large bets to try your luck, you might even try very high multipliers on the dice with a small amount just to try and hit it at least once and when you do so, that's another feeling, and this is exactly what I try the most when I'm gambling.

That being said, these things wouldn't be fun for someone who is only looking for profit and doesn't really care about the thrill or the fun it has, because a person who is looking for profits might feel sad instead of feeling the thrill after that last bet where you go all-in and hope for a win. If you are playing for fun and you lose, that doesn't change a lot of things and you still feel good, but if it's done for profit, the loss might put you through a lot of emotions.
953  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: September 21, 2023, 02:52:15 PM
I am happy that I have chosen a few casinos that I keep playing on and happy that I am done with their KYC levels also. So far looks good. If they leak my KYC info when I get old and wait for my death, then they can do any shit thing they want with it. Lolz.
I am not sure why this is so critical for many peeps when they expose it. First thing, if you have the guts to invest in a gambling site then be ready to enter in strict environment of the financial ecosystem. You will be asked for KYC, you will lose a hell lot of money, and you will also few times win big rolls. I think that's what gambling is. If you can't just digest the fact that the casino is going to ask you for KYC sometime in the future, then there is no need to be cry baby about it. It's already covered in their policies all the time. They always put rules in such a way that they can get bent at any time in the future. Just trust a casino and get started with it man.
Well, I don't know if I should blame the people who are afraid to complete their KYC verification or not because on one way, they are not wrong if they are not comfortable sharing their personal identification with platforms either for privacy concerns or being afraid that their details and information might be used in illegal or unethical ways because a lot of platforms and websites sell customer data to other companies for money and those companies might do the same.

However, I also agree that with the time going forward and the events unfolding every now and then, it's pretty obvious that we won't have any other choice than to complete our KYC verification with certain platforms if we want to use their services or we will simply not have anywhere to go for the same services.
954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How will you feel if it happens to you just like this? on: September 21, 2023, 07:19:23 AM
~snip~
Yes, there are gamblers who bet on games so they can get rich in a short period of time, but the truth of gambling is that having such a mindset before joining the gambling is not a good endeavor. I advise most new gamblers to just gamble for fun, but while gambling, if they have a big win, they should try and control the joy of a big win so they will not lose all their wins and their own money back to the gambling company.
Some people take gambling seriously compared to their personal selves, but some gamblers don't take gambling seriously but just take it for fun and those people who take gambling as their own side hustle.
The thing is that you can take gambling seriously or for a bit of a laugh, and in the end, the probabilities are going to be the same.

The odds are against the gambler, independent of how professional they are at gambling.

That's why in the end the casino wins.
You are right that the probabilities won't change whether someone is gambling to earn money or to have some fun, but the amount of money and time that is being spent will surely differ in both cases which is where the problem lies if you are gambling to earn money. If there are two gamblers, one of them is gambling just for fun and one is doing it to earn some extra cash. If both of them lose their initial bankroll worth $50, what do you think happens next?

The gambler who was gambling just for fun will simply stop right there and move on to another activity or something, whereas the gambler who was trying to earn some extra cash won't be able to move on because they have lost the capital that they thought would earn them more money, and that will make them gamble more only so that they can recover their losses and also earn some profit on top of it.
955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are no KYC casinos taking risks? on: September 21, 2023, 04:52:01 AM
Well, I'm not sure if they actually don't know the consequences or not, but they most probably do it because of the demand by the gamblers that don't want to submit their personal information to a casino. So casinos that come up with the policy that they won't require KYC from gamblers are basically targeting the audience that don't like the concept of KYC and they wish to get more engagement because they are not forcing users to submit KYC.

I believe a casino that registers itself and acquires a valid license to operate won't be able to run without asking customers for KYC because registered and licensed casinos are compelled to comply with KYC and AML rules and they can't offer services without asking for KYC. So, no KYC casinos are probably unregistered.
956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: September 20, 2023, 02:54:33 PM
Any strong team can lose and this time Atletico Madrid lost the game against Valencia while were waving to see them winning this game. Diego is still in good form with his teams and they have good performance regardless of their performance in this match. At the moment of writing this post, they are playing against Lazio and they are winning the game with 1-0 results which is more important than in the game against Valencia.
Well I don't consider Champions League superior than La Liga matches for a team like Atlético Madrid. I mean surely Champions League has its charm but we all know that the actual ATM players cannot go far and it would be better securing a place in the first 4 spots in La Liga to be able to join and collect some money again.
Now the game vs Lazio wasn't successful for ATM since they failed to win and returned with only one point. Well a positive result for ATM in an away game after all.
Even I agree with you here, and they need to consider La Liga better than Champions League but still this was surprising defeat as Valencia is not good as they have done on this day and have win by the margin of 3 - 0 and now Atlético Madrid is having another poor result against Lazio but still this is acceptable with they have chance to lead this group and I have no doubt they are still third-best team in La Liga after losing against Valencia, and they can fight back with their quality and performance in coming matches.

Most chances they will be ended in top eight or just next round but still they are considered as one of the best in Spain behind two giants which are currently at the top of league table.
957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: September 20, 2023, 01:14:31 PM
In terms of quality, Neymar is a very good player, but it cannot be denied that the life of a football player is quite influential for them to be able to maintain their performance, like other top Brazilian players in the past who had their careers faded at a productive age due to an unhealthy life, it seems that now Neymar will follow suit.
IN his debut match with Al Hilal, Neymar didn't make much of a contribution.
Since he was at PSG, Neymar has been prone to injury and his performance has declined, I think it will be difficult for him to recover with the Al Hilal team.
I doubt Neymar can develop and make a big contribution to the team.
Neymar's arrival into Saudi League is not for his performance or any better contribution into this league because we all know mostly he is living with his injuries and have no good contribution into PSG mostly Saudi League management done this investment for having better marketing purpose on South America region because they need big names from this region for having good marketing purpose and better media coverage.

Neymar is one of the best player without any doubt but things never been on same level for him now mostly talking about his luxurious life and other things which are needed by this league and its organizers.

Here I agree about this, most chances he will be not ideal player but Al Hilal already have enough quality and players for the better results in this season.
958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why gambling beginners must not joke with casino announcement on: September 20, 2023, 09:34:50 AM
If they complain about experiencing fraud from the casino, it seems to be their own fault for not being careful enough in looking for the casino. If they can be careful in their casino selection process and not rush to find more information, they will not run into serious problems such as scams. Only those who can find more information by reading reviews from these forums can find a casino that suits them. And even though it may take some time before they can find the casino, I think it's still worth it because it's related to the money they'll use to gamble.
Yah, I agree with you, ethereumhunter. This time around, some new gamblers or inexperienced users are very reluctant to look at reviews; mostly, what they are concerned about is just the casino that they can make the bucks from. Therefore, it's only when they have landed themselves in some big mess that they remember to go check on some of those casino reviews, and like you said, whatever loss or fraud they experience from a casino should be their own cup of coffee, because they were never careful. But again, I believe that members of the forum are more careful at this, but those gamblers outside the forum would mostly be the victims.
What do you think are promotions and bonuses for? They are to lure new gamblers in, and the marketing experts of each platform understand what they need to offer to the gamblers in order to get them to use their platforms that is exactly what they do and new and inexperienced users don't look for anything else when they see they are getting a very high amount in bonus when choosing a certain casino platform, so they simply go for it.

Some of the platforms might not make them face any issues in the future but they might face difficulties with some and that is when they might realize that they should have at least asked for community feedback before joining the platform or should have done some research, this has happened with me too.
959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free spins are also a demo in disguise? on: September 19, 2023, 08:12:00 PM
Free spins are not really like a demo where you are given some free money to spin and win whatever you can which isn't usable, because with free spins, whatever you win can be yours, however, there is surely a catch every time you get free spins for simply creating an account on a casino platform because you can obviously not be able to withdraw whatever you win using those free spins and the casino would need something out of you as well in return.

So, when you get free spins, and manage to win some money, you will either be asked to complete a certain wagering requirement to be able to make a withdrawal which will usually be insane and one can barely complete it, or they will ask you to first make a deposit to be able to use the money you've managed to win, in both ways, you are not getting anything.
960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No KYC vs KYC enabled casinos (Facts you need to know) on: September 19, 2023, 06:58:50 PM
Well, I agree with most of the points mentioned, however, I don't really think that the registration process is troublesome in a KYC compliant casino platform because they barely ask you for KYC verification during the registration process but they do it later. Some won't even ask you to complete your KYC when you are making a deposit unless it is too large, but they might ask you for KYC verification during the withdrawal process if the amount isn't too small.

That being said, I wouldn't recommend anyone using non-KYC platforms if they are willing to gamble with large amounts because security is the most important thing when it comes to finances. If your funds are lost or the casino closes down its services all of a sudden, there is no way for the customers to get their money back.
